Knowing the way in which Jaymee Lee's other business; Jaymee Lee's Diner has operated for the last 7 years, I find it hard to believe they wouldn't have offered either a full refund or replacement order if they were given the opportunity and that opportunity could be offered them even today, nearly a week later. So... I'll go by their performance for the last 7 years, give them to a chance to work out the kinks, and stop by for a delicious, well executed meal. Perhaps Benjamin will consider doing the same. It's the kind of store you might drive by and never give a second thought. However, it would be shame to do so. I stopped here out of necessity, not necessarily choice, and I was amazed. This store is clean! Outside trash cans were clean and empty. Parking lot was picked up and well marked. The restrooms were shiny, clean and sanitary. The coffee bar was neatly and completely stocked with a great variety of options and flavors. Every coffee was fresh and selections were numerous. The coffee bar was clean. The coolers were clean, floors were clean, and shelves were fronted and well stocked. The manager was there and I complimented her on her hard work. She and another employee explained how they take pride in their store and in the safety of their food service. Their thoughts were genuine and borne out of a desire to provide quality food service to their customers. Though this store is a chain convenience store, it is run with the pride and care congruent with a family business. If you are a fan of Turkey Hill, this is one worth putting on your list of places to shop.

We were hoping to pick up some eggnog for the holidays but I did not even spot an empty slot in the case even though there was a sign on the door. Horrors, they were out of a standard item, which I guess makes them like every convenience store everywhere. They are pretty spacious with a decent selection of chips, soda, and hot sandwiches. I was pleased they had an M&T ATM inside, so, yeah, convenient.

When I came in I said hello to the clerk, but received no response. After that, I got a couple of granola bars and a drink. I found both of those items easily as the store was nicely spaced. However, the nice spacing does not make up for the limited food options. For example, they don't have any areas where you can order a fresh sandwich, but rather a selection of pre-made items. They also had an icee machine, but it did not look like it was frequently cleaned as dirty cups were lying around the machines. This Turkey Hill sells gas as well, but don't expect anything quick as it is usually packed with guests from Hershey Park.

I initially stopped here to get gas (the provide BP at this location) and then I wanted to go inside to get a drink and a snack to wind down my night. After going inside it felt a little to small for my liking. I had to reroute myself several times just to look at items because of the people in here. I will give them this, it is nice and bright in the store and everything seemed organized and in place. I found my items and went to pay. The two employees working made it feel like anyone that was in the store was interrupting them and we should have just left without anything in our hands. It took a while be be rung up as the guy was having a full on conversation and slowly processing the transaction. What really bothered me was that even after you paid, it felt like they were waiting to accuse you of stealing something. My friends that came with me had already paid and were waiting there for me to finish. As I was going through my transaction they kept looking at my friends, who had already paid, like they wanted to accuse them so badly of stealing what they just paid for. Once I finished my transaction we headed outside and were on our way.
