I had no idea that Euros, Shekels, Belizean Dollars and Peruvian Sol are no longer legal tender in Europe, Israel, Belize and Peru and therefore worthless in the United States! Is it possible that the morons who manage this Currency Exchange know something about the world economy that the rest of us don't? You know, because of COVID! Clearly, the name of the business, "Currency Exchange," is itself a falsehood. Perhaps they should change the name to "No Useful Services Provided Here" or "Currency Exchange...NOT!!" Ridiculous!

I had already given it to several lawyers to look over. Remember the part about the dream vacation? I was in a pret-ty good mood going in there. The "gentleman" behind the counter refused to notarize it because he didn't understand the word "passed." (This document passed and signed on __ day of ___ month, et al.) That is not my complaint, however. I could have forgiven this man's insolence about signing the document and gone somewhere else with no hard feelings, had I been treated politely. I wasn't. I was condescended to with an abrupt, gruff, remorseless snarl, the likes of which I didn't even think they ALLOWED in Chicago: the city that's "Glad You're Here!" I was aghast at being spoken to so rudely, and expressed as much. I told him I intended to Yelp about the experience. He handed me my paperwork and told me to "go Yelp somewhere else." I will, and I beg you to do the same.

Smells nice." - My initial…read morethoughts the other night while I stood in line trying to get a city sticker before the Midnight cut off. The wait was extremely long and I was lucky to score a sticker just before midnight. The day was long and tedious for their staff which towards the end of the night, they dropped to a single attendant. Why?? Who knows. But in that time a few other revelations came to mind, first and foremost that the clean smell I had already gotten used to was not sandalwood! Oh travesty.. it was Pine-Sol or some other generic brand. Another revelation was that this location happens to be a hub for Western Union customers, which increased my wait time significantly. If needing currency exchange services, it's wise to call ahead and have questions ready. Like; is your credit card machine working? (Because it wasn't when I visited and to pull cash at their "foreign market" ATM service it was a $2.95 charge.) How long is the line presently? and how many windows may be available when I arrive at such and such a time?

Lady at the counter looked out for me. She told me all she could do was sell me a new city sticker, but the city offices could do a $5 transfer. Saved me a whole bunch of money. She also told me I have a 30 day grace period to get it updated.
