We had so much fun at Keeler! Stopped in on our way back to Portland. I had a white flight that was delicious and ended up buying a bottle of the Riesling. My boyfriend had the red, Pinot Noir, flight and enjoyed each tasting. We will be back soon.

Delicious choices and stories of how differently they are aged.

Great wine flight! Enjoyed them all and took three home. Top of hill views for parties and special occasions.

Keeler is a biodynamic vineyard that creates wine in a completely sustainable property that allows its fruit to thrive in its ecosystem with no pesticides or chemical fertilizer. The property is beautiful and the owner is a pleasure to converse with on the history of the property. If you traveling through Amity take the road less travelled and stop if for a selection of white wine that is perfect on a summer outing

Perfect spot for our tasting. Thank you Gabby!

We visited this vineyard as part of a helicopter tour and it was our favorite. Gabby picked us up right where the helicopter dropped us off then drove us thru some of the vines. She poured us a bonus of champagne to enjoy on our way to the tasting area. She stopped and told us about the grapes, etc. let us sample some. We turned a corner and they had a table with chairs next to the vines and under a tree it was just lovely. Gabby started our tasting and wow, the entire group enjoyed the Pinot Gris and their Chardonnay was nice and buttery. Gabby told us the history of the property etc. we had such a great time. The tasting fees were around $35. We purchased two bottles to take with us. The nice thing about the helicopter tour company...they tote your wines around and if the helicopter can't hold any more, they have people who drive out to the wineries to pick them up for you. Will definitely visit this vineyard again.

With the weekend over, I have to say, this was our favorite winery from start to finish! When they brought their Rose (Rosay) of Pinot Noir, it was the most beautiful color! I wanted to decorate my house with that color! But then, the taste of it was wonderful too! It was not too acidic, beautifully light, yet it could stand up to Turkey at the holidays! This winery made us feel at home immediately, and we probably spent the longest time there, but we enjoyed chatting with the owner and employees so much! The setting is idyllic, doesn't have the grand sweeping views of others in the valley, but feels like you are visiting Gabrielle's beautiful farmhouse in Europe! It had an unmatched coziness that we didn't see at our other tours. We loved all the wines and my daughter joined the club! I am going to be ordering my favorites for the holidays! This winery is also biodynamic and be sure to check out the big ceramic eggs!

Empty glasses is always a good sign.

Relaxing with nice wines. The drive to the tasting room is a nice change. Wines were pleasant. Sorry not a wine aficionado. But enjoyed them all. Owner is delightful and very welcoming.

Amity Vineyards has been around for a long time. I've always been meaning to get up here and I…read morefinally made it up their way. Black Friday for me usually means avoid all stores and shopping. There is no deal I need or anything I need bad enough. That said this seemed like a great alternative. Their tasting is $8 this includes 5 wines to taste and they also brought us a little plate of olives, crackers and almonds. We purchased one wine which waive one of our tasting fees. I have to say I really loved all their wines. When you walk in their tasting area may seem a little primitive and not as fancy as some you see in places in the McMinnville AVA, however, the service was great and friendly. The server indicated that had just recently been bought out by Union wines which produces Underwood wine and is based out of Tualatin. This must have been a real recent purchase as neither of their websites reflect that. All in all a good solid group of reds and whites. Stop by and give them a try. I know I'll be back again.

They have the best wines I have ever had! Love their Late Harvest Rieling (sweet dessert wine)…read morewhich I believe is termed an "ice wine". They also had a sweet "Wedding Song Riesling" which was my 2nd favorite. My friend enjoyed the Eco-Wine Pinot Noir, which was what she bought. The tasting fee was incredible, I think it was like $5 for 8 or 10 tastes. I lost track of how many tastes we had. And then they waived our tasting fee as well. I had so much fun and had such a great time at this winery! Out of all the wineries we went to in the Salem area, this was definitely my favorite. And the staff was super informative. They were so friendly and nice, very helpful. Not only that but one of there wine specialists was super hot too! Nice eye candy :)

The service is outstanding and knowledgeable. We've visited for wine pickup tastings, a very nice lunch and a champagne tasting. We enjoy being able to enjoy excellent wines that often have very limited availability. The food at the lunch and the sit down tasting was excellent as well. The seasonal crudités are beautiful and delicious. The experience is not inexpensive but it is worth it.

Having lived in california and experienced a lot of what Napa and Sonoma have to offer tasting wise this experience in my opinion far surpasses any other. The drive from Portland to Dundee early on a Saturday was pleasant but VERY foggy. Apparently it is always foggy in the mornings and the evenings so be prepared to take it slower than usual. We passed a sports car being towed out of a ditch on the way. When we arrived we were greeted by the valet and brought into the tasting room by the host. The building was a large open area industrial barn like structure lined with barrels of wine and lit candles. Each party had their own tasting table sections off my walls of wine barrels. The temp inside was as chilly as it was outside so be prepared to wear a sweater or your jacket. Our sommelier Casey was friendly and welcoming. We spent about 2 hours tasty and enjoying good conversation about their wines and the area. I have included pics of everything we enjoyed. Needless to say we will be going back to do their full lunch tasting the next chance we get. Highly recommend for a date or a small party. Six-8 people could fit in each area easily.

When we arrived at Dukes yesterday, the server asked if we had reservations. We did not. "Well,"…read moreshe huffed, "we're pretty full right now." I counted five (5) empty tables. We thought Dukes was pet-friendly, and we saw two (2) large dogs lying on the concrete beside a table. One of them got up and lumbered toward ours (a 17-pound rescue). Intimidated, our little dog barked exactly once, prompting an employee to storm outside. Scowling, he said pets were absolutely not allowed. "We had a dog bite last year," he said grimly, oblivious to the other canines already present. Proverbial tales between our legs, we left, feeling pretty crappy--especially since we drove almost forty minutes out of our way to visit this winery. PS: Here is the initial response by Dukes Family Vineyards which they posted and quickly removed: "Your dog barked and snipped in a very aggressive manner twice upon arrival. You were asked to leave by the owner after he heard your dog being aggressive. Sorry about the disappointment, however; we had several patrons that witness your arrival and they thanked us for not letting you stay." PPS: To Dukes Family Vineyards: Your response, and your suggestion my chihuahua was "very aggressive" is completely absurd. My wife was carrying him. The instant she set him down, a much-larger dog came straight over and got in his face. Ours barked once. (He was frightened.) Please answer this question: Why are other dogs allowed to be there if your establishment isn't pet-friendly? Also: we were not "asked to leave." Your server told us you were "full," despite the number of empty tables. Your claim that several patrons witnessed our arrival and then thanked you for not letting us stay makes you (and them) sound like creeps. Further, your withdrawn statement illustrates for potential customers the way you will judge and treat them.
