I didn't realize this area was known for Pinot Noirs. Of the five wines we tasted, one was a rose and the other four were Pinots. I was surprised at how much I liked them. My favorite was the last one we tasted which was a $50 bottle. The tasting room was packed. Of all the tasting rooms we walked by in downtown I only saw people at this one so it clearly seemed popular. What was even better was that our tasting was free with our Airbnb booking. Pours could have been a little bigger but can't complain.

Quality/Quantity - Excellent. We got the Spring Release Flight and also tasted every bottle that was opened... All was good. Learned what an Oregon Pinot Noir glass was. :) Apparently, they can hold an entire bottle of wine. But it is not recommended because the stem of the glass typically breaks since they are used to that amount of weight. Atmosphere - Cool small tasting room. Outdoor space is actually much larger than the indoor space. This location used to be the historic state and savings bank. They now use the vault to store wine. :) They are part of/a partner of Elk Cove Vineyards as well. Service - Phyllis is the best!! Her boss was also cool, sorry but I forgot his name. We have been wine tasting since 1:30pm today... They also have a concierge book, anything you need to know about Carlton and the surrounding areas is in there. Price - Tastings are $20 pp; see picture for wine and other pricing. They do not serve food here. Owner Comment - Congrats to the Campbell Family since 1974.

My mom and I stopped in here last Sunday to check out their selection and we were so impressed! The customer service was incredible and we had such a wonderful time tasting their selection of wines! We plan to return and enjoyed ourselves so much learning about the different soils!

Joined the wine club after visiting in February 2021. Wine shipment was charged to my credit card. It was not sent by June so I asked and was told it was too warm to ship wine. I do live in the southeast, so that makes sense in the summer. In the fall of 2021 I asked again for it to be shipped. Dane agreed but never received. Followed up again in Spring 2022, no shipment. Asked for a refund but it was declined as Dane says they only do that if someone passes away. Here we are in September 2023, reached out to Dane a couple of weeks ago, says he will ship but still no shipment confirmation and now getting no response when I email. I have paid, supplied the ABC store address as required, they have my contact information I just don't understand why they will not honor what I paid for. UPDATE! They did respond and sent the wine. It was excellent. Arrived in time for a dinner party and everyone enjoyed it.

I didn't get to have a glass as it's during Covid time and or stay under a tent. I did however try a set wine! I'll be back, I'll be back! I wanted to stay so bad, but the wind was picking up and I wanted warmth.

Phyllis is the best winetender here. We love Pike Road so much that we are ordering cases of their wine for our wedding...in California! Come to Pike Road and make sure to try their Pinot Gris and their Shea Pinot Noir. Our favorites.

This is a cute place with good vibes! We enjoyed the wine and ambiance. (Bought two bottles!) The pourer was interesting and knowledgeable.

There are so many different wineries around the Willamette Valley, so it's difficult to choose where to go. And of course, the most popular ones will likely be booked up. But my partner found Coeur de Terre and made a reservation for us to visit this winery in the late afternoon, which ended up being a delightful experience. The vineyard is located far from the city, up on a hill, surrounded by other vineyards and orchards. Just the setting itself is worth visiting. The winery with its own vineyard is spacious, with a large, open building that's open for the public. However, where you want to sit is outside on the patio, which overlooks the hills and vineyard. We had a reservation for 4PM on a Sunday, which was the last hour before closing. We tried six different wines: a chardonnay, pinot gris, rose, syrah and two pinot noirs. Now, we came to Oregon wine country because we wanted to explore pinot noirs, which is king in this part of the country. And I can say that the pinot noirs at Coeur de Terre were solid. I normally would not choose a pinot noir, but Coeur de Terre made me a believer. They grow all of their grapes here at the vineyard, and what I liked most about the pinot noirs is that they were more robust than other pinot noirs I've had. I like my reds more bold and heavy, and these pinot noirs were heavier. We had a wonderful experience here, exploring the pinot noirs and taking in the views and setting. The employee who helped us out was friendly, too. I recommend visiting if you're in the area. Tasting is $25 per person, and is waived with a $75 bottle purchase per person.

Thankfully, we made a Heritage Room reservation and were able to enjoy the outdoors under some umbrella shade. Two of us a wine tasting, 1 grabbed a glass of red, and the other was there for company and some N/A musings. We also had the charcuterie board and cookies, both of which were good overall. I absolutely adore this spot for having N/A options which on this day was an orange creamsicle inspired slush. Service was really accommodating...since I can be quite the slow sipper at times. They definitely did not make us feel rushed. This is such a picturesque spot and I couldn't help but adore the giant tree with the tire swing in the middle. People were absolutely trekking across the lawn to enjoy it. This is a rather family friendly winery and there were tons of families, a bridal shower, and just folks enjoying the day. High high points for an inclusive space. Check it out if you're looking for a cute winery to enjoy!
