From the initial inquiry, he was quick to respond, promptly scheduled my intake, and answered all of my questions honestly and thoroughly. His knowledge of bankruptcy law and the overall process gave me confidence from the start. He was very understanding regarding the complications of my case and never pressured me into filing before I was ready. Instead, he gave me all the time I needed to fully understand the process, ask questions, and feel comfortable moving forward. Everything was explained clearly and straightforwardly, including the timeline, expectations, and guidelines I needed to follow. His fees were fair and competitive, and he also helped ensure I did not spend more money than necessary on required courses and related expenses. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering bankruptcy or exploring debt relief options. I am truly grateful for the guidance, professionalism, and financial freedom he helped me achieve.

TL;DR Version -Adam…read moremade filing Chapter 7 easy and stress-free. -Responded quickly and set up a free consultation within days. -Knowledgeable, straightforward, and honest. Answered every question fully. -No pressure to file. The choice was completely ours. -Always available by email, text, or in-person meetings. -Guided us through every step, including the 341 Meeting of Creditors. -Never made us feel guilty or rushed. -The office is shared with no signage but easy to find. -Great pricing and highly recommended. My wife and I were nervous and unsure about the process for filing Chapter 7 going into it. We did research and had a VERY long list of questions. Adam was really quick to reply to our inquiry and set up a free consultation within a few days. During the consultation, he was very knowledgeable, straightforward, and honest. He took the time to make sure each and every one of our MANY questions were answered fully and helped us weigh all of our options. He also made sure to reassure us that the choice to file was ours and there was no pressure to move forward with him. We decided to move forward since it seemed to be the best choice for us (it was!) and Adam had a great online reputation and fair pricing. Throughout the whole process, Adam was available to answer emails and texts within 24 hours (usually quicker) and available for in-person meetings within the week at his office, which is a shared space with no signage for the firm but is easy to find. What I really appreciated was that he never made us feel bad or guilty for filing. He also always gave us his full attention, and we never felt rushed to make a decision or not ask a question. He walked us through each step and explained everything thoroughly along the way. The one part that we were a bit nervous for was our 341 Meeting of Creditors, but this also couldn't have gone smoother. Adam talked us through each question they might ask and was there with us in his office during the whole thing. All in all, we couldn't recommend a better attorney for bankruptcy. We did a ton of research on San Diego-based attorneys and spoke with a handful. Most of them wanted to charge more and did not seem to value our time or questions. Thanks for making this big step in our financial life as easy as could be, Adam!

Really didn't want to write this because it makes me mad to think of how badly Carl took advantage…read moreof me. Look at Ashley's review here. I had a similar experience. Carl is so unorganized it is pathetic. I made the mistake of not going into his office and paying the retainer after our phone conversation. Just visit his office. There is more alcohol on the wall behind his desk chair than I have consumed in my life. He has a huge dog in the office because he is probably scared of someone coming after him after he steals their money. Look out for the kitty litter box in his bathroom. For $3,500 he filed 2 forms. You have been warned. If you still hire this guy after reading this and the other bad reviews, you only have yourself to blame. I think there are a few phony good reviews for him on here. The night before our court date I decided to call to ask about where good parking was for the hearing. Then he tells me he is so glad I called. He told I was suppose to come to his office and we are going to do a video conference for the hearing. If I didn't call about parking I would have been in court by myself. My ex-wife's lawyers were present in court, they made the effort. Carl did not dispute anything that my children's mom's lawyers stated. Carl had a conversation with the opposing counsel without me and they went to school together, so I am imagining he might have done them a favor and threw me under the bus. He did in court try to make my children's mom look bad by making something up, or perhaps he remembered it wrong, either way it was not right. Just a nightmare having this guy represent me. I went back to court for a child support readjustment and did twice as good as he did with the outcome. Using the Law Facilitators at the court house was way better then hiring this guy.

I don't believe Freddie was honest with me…read more I spoke to Freddie about my commercial lease telling him I wanted the building reconveyed back to me because my ground lease had a clause the structure would be maintained. I told him my lease had an arbitration clause and that I wanted to go to arbitration because my lessee violated the clause for not keeping up condition of the property as it fell into a lot of disrepair. I forward my lease, letters and other documents. When I came for the meeting, Freddie and his litigator said I wouldn't win at arbitration because either all the repairs would be made before and the arbitration board wouldn't find in my favor for lack of maintenance as it isn't enough of a basis to justify reconveying the building back to me. Freddie said he has been doing law for over 30 years. I've been around hundreds of attorneys. Anyone practicing law for this long knows the answer to what I wanted at the time of initial contact. Freddie knew when I called I wouldn't be able to win at arbitration. But instead, he took my $5,000 deposit, charged hours of time from it, then disclosed to me what he already knew from the beginning when I came for the appointment. He could of just told me up front what he already knew. He returned $3,500.00 reducing his $2,000.00 original charge, but I think there was inducement fraud in my view. I emailed to justify my position, but Freddie didn't acknowledge my claims even when we spoke on the phone. I don't think he is honest or has good communication skills.

I informed them that I was interested in a free consultation to discuss my rights as a tenant and the issues I'm currently experiencing. I have yet to hear from them. Not a phone call, text or email. Either they're so busy with cases or they're not involved with tenant law any longer. Right? I mean, what's the reason to not contact someone interested in your services? I wouldn't know, as I haven't heard from them. First impressions are everything and your silence speaks volumes. I'll find a firm that wants my business.
