The large white ceramic horse and lovely bright flowers strewn across the front door are an instant giveaway to what is inside, not to mention one hell of a welcome to Ada & Lo. I am instantly reminded of the sit com "Designing Women" pretty much instantly. From the owners (what a nice couple!) and the staff and friends in the store, I am instantly made to feel like family through friendly conversation and laughter, suggestions on new product and a non-pressuring ease to walk throughout the store. This store is loaded with cute things to by for self or others....or self....or self. Earrings with big glitz that I can wear them in Vegas. Derby/horse themed housewares and hats. Yes, $15 for a stuffed animals seems a bit pricey, but I'm also at their whim after waiting until the day I left to grab my kiddo something. Prices are fair for a local business with high end clothing and accessories. Some may think it's slightly expensive, but I felt like I got high quality items for the price I paid. The staff was so kind! She assisted me in finding pieces that were my style and would look good on me! She also showed me the handmade jewelry, which was all gorgeous. AND made by local artists!
