I was getting prices for a new HVAC system, when my Vero Beach neighbor told me to call Cuesta's…read morefor a bid. A few days later he said, "No, really, you HAVE to call Cuesta's for a bid." I did, and after receiving five other bids, I knew Cuesta's was my new HVAC contractor. The actual owner, whose name is on his many trucks, came to give me a bid. He was professional, knowledgeable, respectful, and responsive. Dennis Cuesta is clearly very proud of the organization he has built, and it shows, in his pricing, his workmanship, and his performance. He goes well beyond the average to service and satisfy his customers. "No, really, you HAVE to call Cuesta's."

He checked everything , out system would cool then just stop and blow fan air on and off. he checked to rate of air the freon and such and couldnt really come up with anything, 3 weeks later it got worse of course it was holiday weekend so they did not get back to me so I called another company who did come and said there clearly is a significant freon leak. Long story short I called them back and asked to speak with the owner and her, assuming wife or something said he is not around. I explained what the situation was and that their tech totally missed it and that i would like a refund on the service charge. she claims that because another a/c company has touched it they cannot stand behind anything. I had called them twice since their tech was out and told them that it is still not cooling and she told me that i would have to pay another service charge. not they refuse to work with me on refunding my service charge that they clearly miss diagnosed the issue and gave me no choice but to go elsewhere. very dishonest company to use they like to push their yearly maintenance package and do not consider you a existing customer unless you pay it and charge you emergency fee . even though i have used them a couple of times before. and the girl who answers the phone is a bi t ch beyond belief .

My first step when hiring a company for a major project is always to read reviews. We received…read morequotes from two different companies, and when this company came out, the representative explained that they have been serving Port St. Lucie for a long time and that the business is still independently owned rather than being sold to a larger corporation. That's something I really appreciate because it's becoming harder and harder to find locally owned companies these days. The only frustrating part of the process was getting an updated quote. We had waited too long, and the original estimate had expired. My husband called the office several times, and each time they had to take down all of his information again because it apparently had never been entered into the system. That seemed a bit unusual, as I would expect everyone to have access to the same customer information. After discussing our options with the salesman, we decided to move forward. The installation was scheduled just a few days later. We had both the inside and outside units replaced. The crew arrived around 9:00 a.m. and finished shortly after 2:00 p.m. One of the heater components that was delivered was incorrect, but we were informed that the technician would return with the correct part. The installers were friendly, professional, and seemed very knowledgeable. I chatted with them a few times throughout the day, and they worked efficiently to get everything completed. The installation also included a new thermostat, with the cost. Now I'm keeping my fingers crossed that our electric bill will drop significantly. Our old system seemed to run nonstop, and I'm hoping this new, more efficient unit will make a noticeable difference. With the energy savings, I'm optimistic that the investment will pay for itself within a few years.

Our A/C stopped cooling. Was making awful sounds outside, no cool air inside. I had 4 other…read morecompanies come by to diagnose the problem and give me quotes. All of them determined there is a huge leak in my evap coil, and I would need to get an entire new system for thousands of dollars. A/C Doctors was the only one to realise there was something else amiss, and to take the time and properly diagnose the issue. Turns out it was a plugged up valve. They fixed the valve for a fraction of the price of the other companies, and now my A/C is running ice cold. If you need help with your A/C but don't know who to call, this is it, this is the company you are looking for. Knowledgeable, communicative, no nonsense service. 4 other companies got it wrong. A/C Doctors got it right.

AI voice at the call center is a frustrating experience - always ask to speak to a customer service representative ... their AI program is not nuanced enough to meet customer needs. I've had an annual service contract with Lindstrom for a couple of years just for regular HVAC system maintenance and I have noticed that some technicians are excellent and interested in really doing a good job of going over the system and making sure all parts are clean and functioning well and they usually make recommendations to sell other equip or services if they see issues or potential problems. Then there are other technicians who are mostly interested in making equipment sales and don't go a thorough job of servicing the system ( for example; leaving the condensate line dirty rather than flushing it well). I've had mostly good luck but I must say that the occasional lazy technician makes it frustrating. For the company to bolster their value to customers I would suggest that the training and vetting process be revamped to make sure the employees always use their checklist of items to cover in service appointments in order to ensure 100% consistent and reliable service and all employees follow the same recommendations protocols and not engage in any high pressure sales tactics.
