My husband sees Dr. Squires and I see Dr. Bohr. We always ask for Emily as our dental hygienist and have been very pleased with the care we receive at Southridge Dental. My eight year old broke his adult front teeth last June. In true Luke fashion he tripped while running in PE and broke his fall with his teeth. We've had a wonderful local pediatric dentist who has taken care of us. But after the latest dental trauma (kneeing himself in the mouth (as only my son, Luke, could manage)) we were referred to Corridor Endodontics as it appeared his right front tooth needed additional care. After a quick consult a root canal was prescribed (which we will need to do at their CR location as Luke requires laughing gas). Reasons this was a five star biz: - Location is easy to find, plenty of parking. - Open M-F. - Wonderful staff. Dr Jorgensen and everyone we encountered were professional. - Upfront on cost. I love walking into an appointment and being told off the bat what to expect. Any bills that are medical and dental is just so intimidating and known. - Excellent communication. We were referred and got two phone calls with an email to ensure we had the paperwork in (available to be submitted online) and were reminded of our appointment. Overall, I hope we never have to see Dr Jorgensen again but he and his staff made a bad situation pleasant.

Root canals aren't pleasant to have especially because I hadn't one on a Monday then a second unexpected one on a Friday of the same week but she was there for me. I seem to be feeling some infection 48 hours later which can be normal if you read the letter they give you after each treatment but I have confidence that she or they will address it today and tend to it in a professional manner.

AHH. As an adult the word 'dentist' makes my skin crawl. The word 'endodontist' makes me shiver. The words 'root canal' make me want to run away and hide. But alas, endodontic care was necessary and after a consultation at Corridor Endodontics' NL location-- an appointment was set up at their CR location. (Due to the fact my little needed laughing gas to make this even semi possible or bearable. The CR location was the only one that had that.) We came in on a Monday to see Dr. Fisher. Our appointment had some complications but the staff was knowledgable, swift and kept my little guy calm. They really did a great job talking to him, ensuring there were no surprises and working as quickly as they could (as he was kind of a ticking time bomb of anxiety, energy and fear). I appreciated: - Their communication both prior to the appointment (itemized bill discussed prior to the procedure) and afterward. - Super nice location! You can tell this building is newer. I loved the windows throughout. - The song selection in the office. (LOL) But seriously. The doctor was jamming as she worked and there was a token Nickelback song that even got me to take my mind off what was happening to try to remember what in the world that song was. (I, unapologeticlaly, owned that album.) Overall, Corridor Endodontics makes a bad situation ok. I'd 10/10 recommend.

I'm not over exaggerating when I say it rains every single time I have a dental appointment…read more It is so fitting because I HATE THE DENTIST. Well, that's not a fair statement. I despise the experience and essentially everything it entails. The smells, the sounds and oh my gosh the feels -- it all makes me shudder merely thinking of it. I could think of one million and one things I'd rather be doing then getting my teeth cleaned. Like, grocery shopping with two tantruming toddlers in tow or even running a half marathon with a bum knee in the rain sans music. So, no, I suppose I don't hate a dentist personally-- it's not their fault I have a phobia directly related to their profession. That being said, I actually like this dentist ... if I take a step back and forget what she does. Only thinking of her as a person out in the real world, she's stellar. Jokes aside-- Dr. Miller is professional, extremely knowledgeable, kind and easy to talk to. She does her best to ease my mind, no matter the procedure or circumstance. I'd definitely acknowledge her if I ran into her at a coffee shop or something (so long as I didn't have anything super sugary in hand.) The staff is very friendly. The waiting room is pleasant with upbeat music playing. It is easy to find. They have really streamlined the entire process, your hygienist will make your next appointment for you as you wait for the dentist to stop in AND they send text message appointment reminders! So, since you HAVE to go to the dentist (there's no getting around it unless you want dentures by 40) stop in! I promise this one won't bite.

I drove 1.5 hours to get there, the doctor was 1.25 hours late and was not interested in addressing my issues. I was told that my insurance would cover the costs of the testing only to find out that it was very clear that they would not. I was overcharged for the process and received nothing in return. Since the evaluations are not covered by insurance, they are free to charge whatever they want. I still need to see another specialist to get my dental situation addressed. What a waste of time and money.

They tried to reschedule but were told they would have to check to see if they could still see her. Then they mailed a letter indicating they could no longer be a patient there. How impersonable and inflexible! Life happens, things come up. Maybe try having a policy that if you cancel you still have to pay a certain amount if it's all about your time and money? I've never heard of a place dropping you because you have to reschedule more than ONE time. Try to have some respect that life happens and sometimes people need to reschedule.

This business is a laughing joke…read more I don't normally leave negative reviews, but this experience was beyond unacceptable. I was referred by TWO different dentists for a root canal and drove 2.5 hours to Eastern Iowa Endodontics because I trusted their expertise. Instead, I was told I didn't need a root canal and only needed a filling. Even more concerning, the doctor told me I never had an infection. The first thing I did after leaving was call my referring dentist. They immediately pulled up my X-rays and confirmed there had been an infection documented. So now I'm left wondering how two referring dentists could identify the same issue, yet this office dismissed it entirely. I wasted an entire day, fuel, and hours of driving only to feel rushed out the door and treated like my concerns didn't matter. I left with more questions than answers and zero confidence in the care I received. I also have serious concerns about what was billed to my insurance for this visit and will be requesting an itemized bill and reviewing it with my insurance company. If anything appears inaccurate, I won't hesitate to report it to the appropriate agencies. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this office. If you're referred here, don't be afraid to seek a second opinion before accepting what you're told.
