We have worked with a number of designers there and they are all knowledgeable and easy to work with. This time we got to work with designer, John Epperson, who was adept at executing our vision for our kitchen with the new island and refrigerator cabinet they made for us. Chris Holt came over twice to 1) confirm measurements before install day and to speak with my husband who built the soffit for over the fridge cabinet and to 2) direct the installers about how to ensure the fridge cabinet's fit. They were patient with our questions and changes along the way, happy to entertain our input. Our kitchen looks awesome now despite some outstanding finishing touches needed that they are helping us with. I worked with Wayne Stephens himself. He came out to our house, looked at our areas and asked us what our vision was. Wayne took a bunch of measurements and week or so later, he had complete drawings of our new kitchen for my wife and I to review. We went to Wayne's office where he walked us through every detail of our new kitchen layout. He drew up a kitchen based on our requirements and let us make as many changes as we wanted. He used his many years of experience to respectfully make recommendations to prevent us from doing things we may later regret. After our cabinets were installed, we noticed some imperfections with a few of the cabinet doors (apparently this is fairly common with white cabinets). Wayne and the cabinet manufacturer's representative came out to my house to look at them and replaced them at no cost to us with no argument. Wayne is extremely detailed. I never knew how much thought had to go into laying out cabinetry. He thinks of things I never even knew were important. Wayne is also extremely responsive. He even replies to text messages and returns phone calls while on vacation. We are planning to renovate our basement this summer and will be using Wayne Stephens cabinetry.

They do a lot of semi-custom and custom work for bathrooms, kitchens, etc., and we almost overlooked it because we were not in the mood for getting taken for a ride. I am glad we gave them a shot because they have excellent products all made in America at very reasonable prices. We told him the dimensions for the space that we wanted our vanity in and he straight up drew a design right in front of us. As a test, we got a quote from W. Stephens for the vanity and then turned around and asked Lowe's the make the same thing. Number one, they couldn't make exactly what we wanted and number 2, they were not cheaper (maybe by a hundred or so dollars but the materials they were using were not as high quality). I would strongly recommend that you drop by W. Stephens. He does business all over the country but he is never too busy to service anyone who needs it. We only needed a vanity this time, but, because of his great service, we are definitely using him for our kitchen remodel. Just remember, there is quite a bit of assembly once you get your cabinets. Be prepared. Sidenote: This place had plenty of people that have engineering and architecture degrees. And if they can't do it for you, they have a specialist nearby who can step in and help you with any design advice.

The installers arrived right on time. They disabled the old counter tops and installed the new ones in less than two hours.
