Oliver and his guys do pretty good work but the communication over schedule and money was really bad and unprofessional and I was constantly catching little mistakes in the work and having to ask for them to be addressed. I was out of town when the project began. I returned to find a house that had received two coats but obviously needed a third. Oliver quickly agreed and later, after many delays and drama, did the third coat as well as other aspects of the project that he had left unfinished. When he and I discussed this part of the project and I asked why he hadn't applied the third coat without me asking for it when it was obvious to his expert eye that it was necessary, he told me that he doesn't speak up when he notices things like that. He said that he waits to see if the client complains about it so he doesn't have to do unnecessary extra work. This told me all I needed to know about his work ethic. I will not be using Midwest Painting again.

Mike showed 4 times out of 7 and sent someone out that didn't go in ladders. no one worked more than 4.5 hours in any given day. job not done and he refused to come down road because it was being asphalted and he would have had to use another route in. continued to complain that the house was in a state of I'll repair and he didn't realize it would take so much time even though he's been quoting jobs for 30 some years. with job 1/2 done and paint and paint chips everywhere he said he didn't want to come back. don't waste your money.
