I went to another doctor in the area and it was a horrible experience from the moment we stepped foot in the square box they called a waiting area. While this facility has a small waiting area (and small overall) it was super clean, the facility was modern, the front office staff was timely and professional. They even answer emails and get back to you quickly when you have questions. Their website is up-to-date and has the forms you need so you can fill them out BEFORE you get there. The PA came in first actually spoke with us and took her time, then the doctor came in Dr. Vazquez also took the time to talk with us, etc. While the other doctor I saw dismissed us as if we were overreacting, this doctor understood our concern and agreed on labs, xrays, etc. Overall, we are pleased with the service we have received thus far.

He is a board certified pulmonologist and also has a speciality in critical care medicine. He had a welcoming, calming demeanor, and saw me daily while I was hospitalized. After discharge I saw him at his office for followup as I was having shortness of breadth. His staff were efficient in setting up an appointment as a new patient and also gave me some mini breathing tests. He was an attentive listener, both in the hospital and his office. He never gave me the impression that he was rushing in and out of my hospital room. This is a critical issue when hospitalized. He is well trained and respected and well known by his colleagues at BRRH. If you have any pulmonary issues, or family members develop them, I would highly recommend him. You won't be disappointed.

I first went to him over thirteen years ago when I was pregnant with my son. I had pregnancy induced asthma and Dr. Foster was the only pulmonologist in Broward county who would see a pregnant patient. He took such good care of me then that I remembered him so many years later when my asthma recently reasserted itself. Dr. Foster is very kind and down to earth. I understand patients need to verify their benefits, but basic information such as whether the office is accepting new patients or participates with a major insurer should be communicated clearly and professionally. This treatment was successful and after a short adjustment period, it became easier to use. In May of 2025, Dr. Rajter prescribed Zepbound. Today, November 3rd, 2025, I've lost in excess of 40 lbs and feel terrific. My A1C level is normal, for the first time in over 20 years.
