Hugh Price was our listing and buying agent. I had the goal of moving fast - and i was not disappointed. Buying side: Hugh got me a lender who supplied me a letter of credit approval the same day I asked for one, and was able to make a bid that very evening. The lender was ready to close in three weeks - 1 week ahead of schedule. Hugh helped craft a very appealing offer in this hot market - listed things i never would have thought to list... and we got the house, though there were many competing offers! Selling Side: He used to be an appraiser for many many years, so he was able to help us price our home at the right amount vs. what we thought it was worth (We're not appraisers). We asked about different things we should upgrade or not - and he told us the most cost effective ones to do that mattered the most. My wife got sick in the middle of us prepping the house for pictures - and Hugh went from We're listing it in 3 days to "Not a problem - let us know when you're ready". In a competitive market, and everything going on, it was a relief to hear those words! Hugh kept the lines of Communication open at all times. Always available by text - never "ghosted" us! I appreciated his Process oriented methods - it was like he had mental checklists he was going through with us. He also didn't get lost in the details - he said what he needed to say and moved on. Made us feel very at ease. We had multiple times we needed a vendor/contractor/tradesman - and it seemed like Hugh had a contact for every one of them - which was nice since he trusted them already and we didn't have to do the work of hunting for a reputable person/company.
