We Bought a Home Last Month from the Listing Agent which was Betty Giles and found her very unprofessional. We are not at happy with the service she provided as the listing Agent. Though she wasn't our agent she was the listing agent. Which I paid her fees and commissions as part of the deal. She treated me with complete disrespect on every level of communication. When we called her she continually refused to return calls concerning information regarding the property. We left numerous messages to no avail. Finally I text her and she still ignored our calls. Until I text her that I guess the only way I would get any answers was to show up at the real estate office, which she finally responded with this quote- "I don't have to talk to you" Now there had been no acrimony or terse communication thus far so I am Bewildered at her response. I want to start off by saying I'm no way into bashing companies or leaving reviews but this was horrible. My wife and I were looking for a home with one of there agents. We kept getting asked let's get into escrow so fast felt like we were rushing. When we finally got into escrow nothing was done what we asked for. The home inspection was done and lots of things wrong with the home. We asked that lots of stuff be fixed. We were told that all the things we asked for were going to be done but it was a lie it was not done. For example the fire place was fixed incorrectly and when we turned it on the fire came shooting out at me and my kids. We were also told a termite inspection was done and come to find out it was only done on the inside. When we moved in the whole house full of termites real slick. Also we still have the lock box on our door sloppy looking no one has come to take it off. So many other things. I spoke to a lead there at the company and why didn't I know she never called us back. I should have known she would for look at the service we got. This is horrible we are sad when we supposed to happy and now trying to figure out this about the termites. I also have to buy Bo cutters to cut the lock box off. They got paid from the sale and left us hanging when I ask about speaking with the seller it's against the law. The manager from Keller said did you do your final walk thru well we are not handyman how do we know if things were fixed we asked if they were fixed correctly And we were told yes and they were not. We were lied to about the termite report this is not right this is our first home and got done like this. Your agent supposed to take care of you make sure smooth landing. Now we are in a bad situation and don't try calling them because they don't care. Trust I tried already and you. Back in 2011, my family decided to buy a house. The agent at Keller Williams showed us some horrendous houses because she had a hard time working with our budget. she also made a statement that it was embarrassing to negotiate and called it low balling. We decided that Keller Williams wasn't for us. We parted ways, called another realtor, and have lived in a four bedroom house in a relatively peaceful neighborhood for 14 years, and we did that within budget. Our realtor was extremely determined, had no problem negotiating and was a much better fit. If someone is embarrassed to negotiate, they chose the wrong the profession. The agent from KW also said we wanted a million dollar home. We paid under 200K. The market was much better then, but don't be afraid to ask around. Don't be afraid to not get stuck in a garbage house because snkbs you work here think that's what people who aren't wealthy deserve. We are happy with our home and KW gets ZERO credit.
