This was the second time we've used Kelli and her team. First as a buyers in EDH back in 2018 and most recently as sellers at the end of 2020. That speaks volumes about the professionalism, efficiency, quality, value and more importantly the results we received from Navigate Realty. Our recent assignment for Kelli was to sell our second home in rural and up-country Amador County. It was a 3400 sq. ft. home with a 2500 sq.ft carriage house. We built it ourselves over the last 30 years having turned it into an amazing mountain retreat. It was the nicest home and property in the area and there were no comparable sales with most homes priced hundreds of thousands of dollars lower. Because of that we expected that it would be impossible to achieve a positive return on our investment over the last 30 years let alone equal it. But it was time for us to consolidate and simplify, and with quite a few tears we decided to call Kelli and put her on the case. Within a week of contacting Kelli, we met with her and her assistant Jordyn. Shortly thereafter Jeff and his team were on-site and put together the most amazing digital marketing program that included a virtual 3D walk-through of the both buildings plus a drone flyover of the 4 acre property orchestrated to music. Knowing we were going to be saying goodbye and then watching this... the results of our love, blood, sweat and tears over the last 30 years was a real tear-jerker. So moving on... Within 16 days of being on the market, we received an offer and settled on a price that was $150K+ more than we ever expected. We closed escrow 30 days later, which was no small feat given how COVID-19 has complicated getting what would otherwise be simple things done. We talk with the buyers all the time and they are sharing with us all the enjoyment they are getting from our home, and we have an open invitation to visit anytime we want. How cool is that? I placed a review last week and Yelp removed it. They said they needed more details. Here is the original ... Kelli is bubbly and engaging and she responds quickly. BUT.. she wants to close the deal. Even when it's not what is the best for you. In other words, I felt pressured to just make a decision. I didn't feel like I could take the time to look at more homes before pulling the trigger. I looked at multiple single family homes and was trying to balance location of family, school districts etc. Nothing felt quite right. It felt like Kelli got impatient with me. Buying a home (first time buyer) can be scary. I didn't want to feel pressured into making a decision. As a side note - Kelli is based in a different area than we bought (just outside of Sacramento). She didn't seem as familiar with the area of our interest. In the end, we are fine and we will enjoy our home. But I would go with another agent if (when) I had to do it all over again. When Kelli & Jeff came out to our home for their initial presentation, we were hooked. They did a phenomenal job and let me tell you, it's not just a presentation with no substance, they put their money where their mouth is (so to speak) and get the job done. WELL. PROMPTLY. After the presentation, we decided to hire them and they got things moving pretty rapidly on their side. We had remodeling to do on our home and they also helped there with quotes, references, and advice. We found them to be very knowledgeable and they did not over-step on the decision making process- while still helping us along. We were moving out of state (across the country) so it was a very big deal and very stressful for us.
