They performed an X-ray as mine was not up to date. That's fine, to see if there is any issues with the joint. Dr Hayes performed the Botox shots on two places on both low sides of my jawline. She told me it will take 3 to six days to relieve the sensitive teeth and pain. A week later I called the office to see why my pain is not subsided. The front desk talked to dr. Hayes and told me that it takes up to two weeks and that I had multiple infections in my gums. I am from East Europe and the materials used there are different. My feelings are in my mouth for 40 years and the X-rays are not changed a bit for the last 10 years. I have no pain in my teeth or any issues with my gums. That tells me dr. Hayes is not competent in her field. As I am not a regular customer, and my Dental Insurance doesn't cover such a procedure it cost me $600.00 out of pocket. I am pretty sure they didn't do the whole 20 to 50 units per side, as the shots supposed to be in 3 to 5 spots along the muscle and not just the jaw. I was charged the maximum price and told literally that that is it. With the same success i could be injected with saline solution, as I had not any relief. Now I am on painkillers and will visit my local cosmetic clinic for another treatment. This office is not professional, not competent and not recommended from my experience.

Today was my first exposure to anything other than preventive procedures. I must say that Dr Hoff and his staff exceeded my expectations. I had a crown that I received from another dentist many years ago replaced today. I was expecting to have the crown removed, have an impression made, have a temporary crown installed and repeat the process once the permanent crown came back from the lab. I discussed this with the front desk who told me she doesn't believe me and she asked me to leave. I have never been asked to leave a business before. I'm well insured and I can get care elsewhere. I wondered why certain preventative measures weren't taken or even brought up in certain areas, but my biggest issue was with how they handled an issue with insurance and an unknown outstanding bill. My insurance was about to end, so I called to schedule the final appointment. I checked while making the appointment that the policy would cover the procedure. They looked into everything and said that it would. I went to the appointment, got my cleaning, and checked out without any issues. Many months later, I received a voicemail saying they were about to send my outstanding bill to a collection agency. After calling them back, I learned that I had not received any of the notices about the outstanding bill, because they put the wrong name on all of the mail sent out and were calling the wrong phone number (an ex on the account). They also informed me that I had to pay the full cost of the last visit, because insurance didn't cover it (even though they said there were no issues when I checked out). I wasn't happy, but I paid the outstanding balance in full during that phone call. The next time I called to schedule an appointment, they refused to schedule me. They said accounts that get sent to collections can't book future appointments. I told them my account never got sent to collections and that I paid them the full amount over the phone and had the receipt. They finally acknowledged it was not sent to a collection agency but continued to say they couldn't schedule me. They took no accountability for the balance remaining unpaid for so long due to their errors (sending notices through the mail with the incorrect name and calling the wrong phone number). I am thankful they found my actual phone number before sending the bill to collections. That would have been a much larger annoyance brought on by their mismanagement. I'm perfectly fine with going to a different dentist, especially after this experience.
