Truly great food. The burgers are 1/2 pound, cooked to perfection, taste amazing, with a variety of toppings to choose from. My husband was in heaven with the guacamole cheddar burger. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with guacamole, bacon and cheddar cheese. I am celiac and asked them to just leave off the bun. Man oh man, this was excellent! The great hole in the wall bar and grill in Stanley, Wisconsin. Only a mile off Highway 29 and worth every detour minute. The menu is outstanding, the food is excellent, and the prices are phenomenal. Top that with great service, and you can't go wrong. Highly recommend their burgers! read more

Good Food Horrible Service. Yes it was busy but the waitress seemed to cater to the regulars. Took our order, then the other table. They got their food way before us. She asked them how every thing was, if they needed anything, looked at our table, ignored us and asked the table next to us how they were doing. Cleared the table next to us, offered them boxes gave them a bill. Still not one word to us the whole time. Had to go to the bar for our bill even. We were never asked at any point if we needed anything or how our food was. That is not good customer service! read more

Hometown feel. Comfortable atmosphere. Food is top tier. Unfortunately when I arrived there was no place to sit. I told the waitress I would need to make a to go order due to no place to sit and eat. She told me to wait. Proceeded to take orders of the people sitting at the bar. She was the only waitress I noticed in the whole place. She finally got to me. Took my order. Which I only wanted an omelette. I waited 35 minutes for my order. Still no place to sit. Very busy place. Which in of it self says the food is good. I do suggest that the owner gets another waitress. So he has two. I also suggest that maybe a bench be placed near the front somewhere for people waiting for their orders to go. When I got my food it had hash browns and toast. I didn't want either. I was charged for both. But I didn't have time to deal with that. Went to early supper there with daughter and friend first time. The outside is very deceiving to the quant inside and awesome flavorful food at low prices. Loved it Quiet and quant! Highly recommend. I had 4 jumbo shrimp that were like little lobsters size, so flavorful as were sides and salad . Low price drinks ! read more

We stopped in here after reading the two reviews left on Yelp and we were so happy we dined at The Rose Den. Traveling through the area and looked at Yelp for ideas. So very worth the detour off the highway to Stanley. I had a burger and my husband had a turkey melt with pesto. Consistently great food! Breakfast, burgers, salads. Huge portions. We typically split an omelet and it is plenty for two. I love the steak and eggs - great value and the steak is always perfect!!
