Welcoming cute little store and cafe. As you walk in, you would mistake it for an eclectic gift store which it is and more. Stopped in for a quick coffee break and loved the menu and the host. Wish I was hungry enough to try their food. Don't miss this place if you are driving on Highway 29 to or from Wisconsin.

ham & cheese panini potato salad

We both had potato salad. Husband had the ham & cheese panini and I had the apple cheddar ham panini. Everything was excellent. The restaurant was clean, neat/cool atmosphere. The service was great. Everybody was really nice. This place is by far worth searching out. We drive between mn and wi a lot. This is now one of our favorite places, and will be our stop if we are eating. The breakfast menu looked great also. If your doing a road trip, there is NO need to stop at any fast foods. This food is WAY better, and doesn't take long at all. Try this place..........you will be glad you did!!!!!

This place is awesome!!! The employees were so friendly! Great souvenir shop too! Great menu and great prices! You can eat in or go through their drive through! We will definitely be back! The food was delicious! We had the Bourbon Burger & Gouda & Turkey sandwich....can't say enough good about this place!

Counter service with a delightful atmosphere!

Driving across Wisconsin between the UP and MInneapolis looking for a place to stop for lunch. Saw the billboard for Aroma Cafe and stopped in Thorp. Great atmosphere with gift shop, florist, and counter service -- a surprisingly diverse and appealing menu. Ordered salmon Caesar salad and a turkey pesto with Gouda wrap -- and a burger for the man! Friendly service and reasonable prices for healthy food. Can't beat $10 for a salmon Caesar! They have a separate breakfast menu that looks yummy too. Will definitely be back when we cross Wisconsin next.

The jalapeño popper burger with chips and the ham and apple panini with a side of salad. Both were super yummy!

Waitress Jamie, was very nice and took our orders. It's all bar food, but the variety of offerings is impressive! Fried cauliflower, cheese curds, broccoli cheese bites, and on and on and on. They have a great fish fry every Friday, as well. Their specialty is 1/2 pound hamburgers in almost any combination you can think of, so that's what we ordered. They came out perfectly char-grilled, thick, juicy, perfectly medium, and delicious. Toasted buns (you can also get a Reuben burger), thin, crispy french fries, or very good potato salad, or onion rings. But, as I said above, there's lots more on the menu besides the burgers. We'll surely come back again for a hearty lunch or even supper. The Viaduct doesn't seat very many people, so come early. Besides the bar itself you can shoot pool, play darts, play video games, and watch sports on 3 TVs. There's even a massage chair tucked into one corner, though the masseuse is there only one day a week, so call ahead if you plan to indulge yourself. The new owner, Ashley, just added a new outside patio for even more seating in the warm months. Even if you're a local who's never been in, this place deserves a fresh look! Excellent food, very pleasant service, good people!
