They are nice but don't listen to you when you tell them what you want. I have neuropathy and they were massaging my legs so hard I was almost crying! Told him to stop because he was hurting. So he starts on the other leg so hard I am hurting again. Told him to just stop because he was hurting me. Then get my nails dipped and they don't listen to the shape I want. Had to come home to fix it. They charged $5 extra for pedicure and dipped because I got French and they never informed me there would be an extra charge! Don't think I will come back. Steer clear very unsafe and unprofessional. I left nail salon bleeding. So this place is so unprofessional. Their was a lady eating food at the front desk, near where someone was getting their nails done. I let a guy, I was waiting for my friend, but we are getting pedis. He starts yelling from the back Where the pedi stations are, for me to come back. I told him again I was waiting for someone. Then they dont have an OPI reg colors all Gel. Which I dont care for other brands cause they chip. Girl who is doing my toes was very rude was talking to everybody else but me. Including talking on her phone while doing my toes, with sharp tools in her hand. Then using the thing that looks like a cheese grater on my cuticles ran it over the side of my big toe which I then started bleeding because I said ouch. When that tool is used it should not be anywhere near soft skin. She did an okay job, detailing my cuticles. Basically I would not go here I got no discount for leaving bleeding. I didn't bring it up because I was too frustrated I regret tipping her also I did it out of habit to be honest because I just wanted to be out of there I could not believe the extreme unprofessionalism. They apparently don't care if they cut somebody and they're bleeding when they leave. Was not even offered a bandaid. These pictures were taken only a few hours later. this is my go to nail salon!! it has been since 2020! the two nail looks that are pictured were done by Aster. she is so talented and creative! both times i've told her a color and just said do whatever. she did not disappoint. the service here is great and they do everything right. from removing your acrylic nail to giving you an actual massage when you pay for the pedicure. completely recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to try out! read more

Not a fan of this place. The smell as soon as you walk in is overwhelming. I know a nail salon and it is going to smell like chemicals but it's really bad here. When you get a pedicure the only options are $45-$55 and all the options seem the same, the only difference is smell. There is also no hot stone hot towel scrub differences. The lady that did my nails made my toe bleed and my fingernail bleed. So two nails of mine are super sore the next day. My toes look really pretty but my nails are ok. It took 2 and a half hours for a mani pedi and I didn't get acrylic. Plus it cost $100, we are in KY not some fancy spa in Hawaii, that's way too much. They have slushees and I know it's dumb but I didn't get offered one, I would have asked but I didn't noticed til my manicure and I can't use my hands by then, would have been nice during a pedicure. read more

I honestly enjoyed my experience on Thursday, 11/18. I called ahead to see if I needed any appointment. I was told I could walk in. I got there right around 9:30 and requested and pedicure and full set. They did my pedicure first. All of the pedicures on the menu they gave me were the same price so I picked what the gentleman recommended. It was the best pedicure I've ever had, but it lasted over an hour! I wouldn't have had a problem with that but I was kind of in more of a hurry than that. I didn't complain though. I just wish I would have known about all of the extra stuff they did. They started my nails about 25 minutes after my pedicure ended and by that time they had gotten a bit busier. I told them that I needed to leave in about 25-30 minutes because I had to be at the airport and that if they couldn't do a full set in that time, I could just get them painted instead of a whole full set. They assured me they could do the full set. I was fine with that. They finished in about 35 minutes and I was happy with the results. (I did make it to the airport in time so it was fine!) Fast forward to this evening, Wednesday 11/24. I was putting my daughter to bed and adjusted the pillow and my nail just popped off? It was the strangest thing? It's only been 6 days. I hardly felt it at all so it didn't pull it off with force. It was poorly glued apparently. I plan on going to get some nail glue tomorrow and gluing it back on because it's literally so cleanly popped off. On top of that, my toe polish it so chipped after only 6 days as well. Absolute worst business in Memphis. In times past I've come to Kelly's nails and got exceptional service. Today was horrible. I only came to get eyebrows waxed and I sit there over 30 minutes. I asked the front desk person how much longer. She say it's gonna be a longer wait when she could've just said that when I got there, I give this business -0 not to mention I would recommend a dead dog to come here and get any service from Kelly's nails on Hacks Cross avoid this location like the plague. read more

Updating my review: went a week ago to get a mani pedi. Paying $120 for my nails to be over filed by someone who was on their phone the whole time, the design falling off after a day, chipped and my pedi gel to rise and bubble. I used to like this place to do my eyebrows, I decided to try to do my nails. WORST MISTAKE EVER. The guy was in a rush and left hair stuck on top of my nails, said it was fine but it wasn't . This is the first time I've been to this establishment and will not make the same mistake twice. I've been to many nail salons in the past but never have I been to one that was less professional. But I'm getting ahead of myself 1. (Appointments/punctuality) my wife and I called ahead and reserved an appointment for 4pm as it was the end of the work week and we wanted to have a date. We arrived at 3:55 and the establishment was packed (I'm not even going to go into the health hazard during COVID-19 but to say the least a lot of employees were incorrectly wearing masks.) This establishment serves drinks so I was excited to unwind with a margarita, I asked and was told he'd be right with me. At 4:45 my wife and I were finally seated and still no margarita. We sat down and I asked again and never for the rest of the time did I recieve that drink. 2. (Service) the drinks thing probably fits here too but I came for a pedicure so I'll review that. It was okay...my wife's looked leisurely but mine was the first time I have ever experienced pain during...she was so rough...like my cuticles were bleeding rough. She didnt listen to what I wanted and it just wasn't a good experience. The final product was decent my feet felt nice (short of the rough pain spots on my cuticles). She also would get up and text for several minutes (which doesnt bother me but is a no go for some) ultimately I'll say service was okay. 3. (Professional) The guy managing the ladies and gentlemen working was extremely indirectly disrespectful to everyone in the establishment. He would cuss when the phone would ring, holar at the folks working on customers to hurry up, and straight up ignore people that would ask for his assistance. It left a terrible impression on the business in my opinion because he was the first person we all met and really the only person speaking English in the establishment (this is not a deal breaker I have nothing against anyone speaking there language, I just think its important when refering to interactions with the customer. 4. (Cleanliness) again just okay, this place appears fine at first glance. But I didnt see her opening sterile instruments for either of us, there was trash left over from the last person in my seat, and the surfaces around the building appear uncleaned.(dust and grime) 5. (Value for money) overall, it's just not there. Standard prices (for those that get pedicures) for sub-standard performance and professionalism. I would recommend going elsewhere if you are considering this place. I hope this helps, and should you choose to go through with your vist I hope you have a better experience than we did. read more

While I may not live close to this salon, I will definitely be coming here when I am in the area. I normally only get my nails done every 6-8 weeks and I like to spoil myself and get the deluxe mani and pedi with gel polish. This salon had a nice book with their types of pedicures and all additional charges. My technician Cindy made sure I knew how much the services were going to cost. The deluxe manicure came with a nice long arm massage and even a shoulder massage while my hands were in the paraffin dip. They even offer water, wine and soda. If your just visiting or live out here, this is the place to go. Nice decor, nice staff, great work and just all around nice atmosphere. read more

This is a tale of two Tammy's. First, I really like this salon. It's conveniently located in the Walmart shopping area in Oak Grove. When I entered, I was warmly greeted by a gentleman who assigned me to Tammy#1 (black hair). She did my pedicure and was EXCELLENT! She has a great personality and carries on great conversation. Unfortunately, she couldn't do my manicure. Enters Tammy#2 (bad frosted hair). HORRIBLE! No personality. Acted as if I was bothering her, rushed through the session and did not ask me if I wanted my nails buffed, etc. She only came to life when it was tip time, which I was not going to give her. By all means go to Kelly Nails, just avoid Tammy#2. read more

He not once had me get up to wash the nail dust off of my hands and at the end of my nails being done he didn't put cuticle oil or anything on my hands i had to ask. when i asked he squeezed an excessive amount all over my hands in a rude manner. Kelly , 4th tech from down on the left, was so nasty and rude . she didn't want to do my nails from the beginning, and when I corrected the color she was about to use, she completely shut down. she installed my nail very sloppy and barely tried to shape it, she didn't buff it or anything. she then slapped some topcoat on it and said done. when I asked for a manager, she sat back and smirked at me.Management comes over and asks " what's wrong with it", as if it isn't visably horrible. I was not satisfied at all. Customer service was almost decent. My nails looked terrible. I asked for an acrylic ombré and picked out the color I wanted and first off they completely ignored my color selection. The ombré itself was terrible. Not even throughout all the nails. Actually painted nail acrylic was on two nails, making my nail look wider than it was and ultimately lead to the side of one nail breaking off. Not worth the $60 I paid. read more
