I went in for a deep tissue massage that my husband booked, specifically for upper back and neck pain. It was a weird experience overall, as it started with me getting called back fifteen minutes late and another ten after that for my massage therapist to start. Despite asking for a focused massage, none of it was actually spent on that spot other than about two minutes which he remarked "wow you're really tense!". He didn't stop talking the entire time, about his trauma - his politics - everything. It was so exhausting, honestly. The vibe was definitely off here, and it was fairly pricey. Went in for a body scrub and a lower leg wax. Scrub was fine, except for some reason she didn't do my upper chest or even my back down as far as my butt crack. Apparently doing the chest and butt are taboo. Fine. Then came the waxing. I don't think she knew what she was doing, because she didn't smooth on the fabric very efficiently didn't stretch the skin when she pulled off the wax, and left a lot of hairs that she said would come off when I showered. She also said that my hair was really fine, as if I got waxed frequently, which I don't. In any case here's a picture of the results the next day, after I'd showered. I have no idea why I spent $45 for this, because now I have to shave my legs anyway. Will not be returning. read more

I went here for a Deluxe massage which my husband gave me for a gift. I asked for her to work on my feet and neck/shoulders specifically. When she was done with my feet she said "We're out of time - boo hoo"! I asked about my neck and was told there's no more time. After complaining to the receptionist and calling twice afterwards to see if the manager or owner would give me some compensation, I've heard nothing. So disappointing. I scheduled an appointment for myself and a friend that came to visit and will never go back there. First i scheduled a package that was to include lunch that we never got. They claimed they can't serve anything because if covid but #1 they should have told me when i booked the appointments and #2 they didn't adjust the price seeing that service was unavailable. Second... i paid extra to have hot stone incorporated in my massage and to extend the massages from 60 to 90 minutes. I never got the stone massage. When i asked about it they told me because of covid some of the massage therapists don't like to do them. Again, NOT explained when i booked the appointment and furthermore if it was something i specifically asked for why not make sure the person doing my massage was ok with that? Lastly... my friend and i had identical packages and were supposed to be done at the same time but i was done 45 minutes before she was. I went for an aerial silks class with 2 other friends and we got the locations confused, so we called to let the instructor know we'd be a few minutes late, she was super nice about it. When we got there, she was super helpful and really kind. The class itself was so fun and chill, it was our first experience with aerial silks and she was very patient, but definitely understood what she was doing and was a great teacher. The instructor's name was Sabrina, so thank you Sabrina for a great experience, we'll definitely be back thanks to your wonderful personality and teaching!! read more

One of my favorite things about "day spas" is that you can spend the whole day there usually- pool, sauna, hanging out, cafe... but not here. It's just a spa. You arrive and the receptionist was very friendly and nice- we were led into a room to wait and fill out paperwork that had some tea (only 1 kind) and water (plain water, not flavored or cucumber water... at most spas I've been to they have flavored water- I know that's a weird critique). We were the called into our room for a couples massage and there was no stool or chair to put our clothes, which is odd to me. My masseuse was nice, but it seemed she was speeding through my massage as mine was done before my fiance's. She was also barely applying pressure it seemed, and I marked off and discussed with her that I would like firm pressure. The masseuses didn't seem to know that we were also booked for pedicures after the massages because they were awkwardly standing in a hallway with us and then didn't lead us to the right area for pedicures (did they want us to tip them there?) so the transition and handoff was confusing from one service to another. My pedicure was really great though and I enjoyed it a lot. Prices were decent- $155 for a couples massage and $85 for 2 pedicures. read more

I have been going here for 3 years and unfortunetly after today's experience, it will be my last time! I'd give zero star if that was a option! I went today with my daughter for brow wax for both of us. During my wax I asked if she could do my upper lip too, she said yes and when you were here last time they forgot to charge you for the lip wax, I said oh goodness. So we finish. I go to the front to pay and she charges me for the 2 brow wax, my lip wax AND my lip wax from over one month ago that her receptionist screwed up and didn't charge me for! Now....it was only $8 but it's the point! You don't charge someone for a mistake that was made well over a month ago by your employee!! First of all I'd like to say that the poor reviews read here are from old management of this day spa. This place changed management around May 2017. The new owner is amazing! Very personable, kind and highly skilled massage therapist. The same goes for all the staff working here. If you had a bad experience in the past, you should give it a try again with the new management. The place is very relaxing with different spa services offered. I had a Swedish massage with aromatherapy. I felt my massage therapist took appropriate time to pay attention to the areas I mentioned during the check in interview and information sheet. Received a spa package as a gift. And paid additionally for a nose waxing. My massage was ok, but she didnt massage my extremities only my back for an hour which was a total disappointment. My facial was great and so was my nose waxing. My mani and pedi were mediocre but the nail tech was so kind and personable that i excused the poor quality. I asked the masseuse to work on a specific muscle group and she failed to work out the muscle tension. When I explained my dissatisfaction to the manager she simply said "I'm sorry, maybe you could try this other massage therapist next time." I explained to her that I wouldn't come back considering I did not get what I paid for this time, and that I couldn't believe that a manager would do nothing to ensure the customers of a service were satisfied. I will start out by saying we went here for a friends birthday , it was a group of three. We were promised to be paired together for the services. Instead we were all separated, then for the last two services provided they paired myself and the other friend up for a pedi and massage. The birthday girl was left out the entire time and told during her last service, her two friends had been together for majority of the time. The spa had no reason why they did this. The people who provided the services were awesome and it was relaxing, but for as much money as was paid to be together and were not even with the birthday girl , I will not be returning to this spa. Also the spa cannot accommodate three people together for all the services due to only having two pedi chairs and a room that only fits two massage tables. This place has the worst service. I accidentally bought a gift card online for them, mistaking it for the one in another state. I understand that it was my mistake, but they wouldn't even let me talk to the manager to discuss the situation. I called over 10 times and they just kept saying a manager would call me back or they would look into it but months passed and I kept calling and getting dismissed. I would never want to support a local business who treats people like this. It's one thing to actually talk to a manager and at least feel like you were heard and that honest mistakes happen, but they couldn't even take 2 minutes out of their day to call me back. And if they are so busy, surely they can afford to refund a mistaken purchase of a gift card. They are just generally rude people who don't care about others. I was given a gift certificate from my kids about a yr ago. Since they bought it. Some of the pks have changed and I was not aware. When i called to schedule my package . I was told that there was a $5. Difference in price and that they would collect that and the tip. When I went in. I thought tip was based on the service. I was also told I would get a robe when I got there. So I wouldn't have to be dressing and undressing. I didn't get it. Until after getting dressed and undressed 2 times. I asked for it. When I went to get my ultimate pedicure. I got a foot massage and told I was done. When I went to the front desk to ask about it. They said they no longer did pedis, because of the chemicals, but they failed to tell me that. When I said it said it is in the brochure. I was told they had to many printed. So they had put an insert in the brochure showing the change. I should've been offered a discount or been told the package changed. Then they told me it was a $10. Difference not $5. Like I was told on the phone. The staff is friendly the massage was awesome the facial was good the foot massage was ok, but not a pedicure like I was excited for.
