Pedicure was beyond basic and **BEWARE** they use the SAME CALUS SPONGE in a zip lock bag. I almost THREW UP!!!!! The most disgusting thing I have ever witnessed!!!!!!!!!! We wanted to get pedicure and manicure but we left right after the disgusting pedicure experience!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU DO NOT HAVE TO!!!! Telling people to leave and come back cause they're understaffed and busy..... TERRIBLE BUSINESS!!!!!!!! after a week my nails already grew out, they didn't give me what i asked for, i asked for acrylic on all my toes and they only put them on my big toes and after one week my big toe fell off, and my toe nail is bruised, they cut off all my toe nails, and continued to file my skin. read more

I was very disappointed that my gel manicure and pedicure barely lasted a week, unacceptable. They do offer an array of services from specialty pedicures to even facials. There were two women who literally got up and left in the middle of getting their nails done because the nail techs were doing such a terrible job. I walked in just wanting a half leg wax and ended up leaving with an additional gel polish and lip waxing simply because, well, I wanted to. However I do have a few complaints: my leg wax was okay since the lady (not sure of her name and sorry!) missed several patches of hair and I didn't notice until after I had left so I have to finish the job at home, when my lip was being waxed she did my bottom lip too which was new to me but I wasn't ready to keep my lips tight (my fault) and she ripped a bit of my lip skin and I started bleeding but it's okay. Overall great place to have your nails done in Clarksville. There is typically not a long wait, though I usually call ahead to check. Prices are reasonable and there are a few nail techs who do great nail art here! I just show a picture and they're able to do it for me. I always get a gel mani and it doesn't take too long. Only reason I am rating 4 stars is because of the long wait to fix my nails. It seriously took me close to 40 minutes of wait time. However, I did come on a Sunday and I know that's typically a slower day in nail salons so not as many techs are available. I would call ahead next time and book an appointment. They were very nice though and not rude at all like the last place I went to which is a plus. She also made sure they matched my other nails in length and look which other nail tech not so much. The service here varies so much. The quality you get depends on when you go and who you get. Sometimes I get a killer pedicure with a great message, and other times (like today) I get an okay pedi with a manicure that was rushed and not well done. The nail polish being used for my pedicure today was clearly running out and looks streaky on my toes. Instead of acknowledging that and asking me to pick a new color it was left like that and there was a continuous struggle to get enough out of the bottle. Sometimes I'm told I can use my card and sometimes I'm forced to get cash out of the atm. Multiple people will work on you for one service causing inconsistencies. I've asked for my nails to be cut for a manicure and was told no and only had them filed for shape. I was polite, as always, when I asked him so I was annoyed when he mumbled something rude under his breath in his native language. Judging from the look from the lady next to him and how she looked at me he said something rude. I just moved to Clarksville from San Diego and I'm searching for a good nail tech/salon I came here for a fill and color change, and left with a whole different nail shape. Not what I wanted. I went in w coffin shapes nails and left with most nails looking like stiletto and almond shape. I usually don't like to complain so I just dealt with it. When I got home I realized that my whole right hand was not shiny from the top coat. I called it in and I went back to have them apply another layer of top coat. At this point I was irritated. And I knew wouldn't come back. Fast forward 2 weeks I'm at a different salon named "Kim's nails" as she was drilling off my shellac she noticed fungus under my nail. Something I've never experienced with nails before. I asked what causes this and she told me when nail techs don't properly clean your nail before reapplying powder fungus begins to grow If I could give this salon 0 star I would. Went in here for a full set. I got the worst full set that I have ever had in my life! I come here to get my nails done all the time. So the first set was horrible. I hated it. I had somewhere else to be so I called as soon as I left stating that I would be coming back to get them redone. The guy said ok. When I came back in another girl acted as if I was being unreasonable about the condition of my nails. She filed the sides a bit and said your done. I was PISSED. I didnt get my money back either! Such a waste of $40!! I ended up having to go to another shop to have this mess removed and another full set put on which costed me $60 more dollars! I will attach photos. TERRIBLE SERVICE, terrible attitudes. Very rushed and unprofessional. I simply asked for another layer of acrylic as you can still see my natural nail, and the "most experienced" one refused. When I then refused to pay for half service and asked that my needs be met before paying, politely (because it looked that bad), he threatened to call the cops on me. When I tried coming up with a solution, he began yelling at me then ignored me when I responded. His wife, I assume, then told me to shut up and sit down. The red nails were done of Friday 13th, by Monday the 15 the nails were off like were popping off. I went to get them fixed! I was charged for the filling and the broken nail were "free" nope!' 20.00 gone. TODAY Is FRIDAY 20th and BAM!! Two more break off!!! When I asked for my money back for the refill from this Monday!! Today was my 3rd time going to this Salon. It had high reviews so I tried it out. The first time I got the dipped polish and the lady gave me a manicure with hand massage. The second time another lady did them and they were way to thick and looked like they took a nose dive on the ends, no manicure with it and charged me more. I went in on a Saturday at 3 pm - the place was packed and I was worried there would be a significant wait. Nope! The staff here is incredibly efficient. I was able to enjoy a glass of wine while I got my pedicure. Even with all the chairs full and people constantly coming in the door, I was in-and-out, getting a gel mani and pedi, in about 40 minutes. The only reason is give them 4 stars is because it's not much of an "experience", as it feels a bit like your being herded through like cattle, but it was fine with me because I was kind of in a hurry and I only paid $48! I really like my nails. But again, I'm just very basic, so I can't speak for any more complicated services. Upfront I should have known when the lady could not successfully sculpt a squat toenail with a rounded top to get up. The gentleman had to step in, show her, did both big toes and then she took back over. I would rather do my own pedicure than to go here ever again. I had the spa pedicure with a glass of red wine . The shop was not busy when I arrived in the am maybe 2-3 people including me initially after say mid way through my pedicure more arrived so about 6 people. 1. My glass of red wine had someone's lipstick stain on it and the wine smelled spoiled. 2. The polish on my pedicure was messy. 3. I sat in the pedicure chair waiting for my polish to dry , I was not told to get under a dryer ( Idk if the have one ) . 4. After sitting for a while the lady checked my feet and went back to helping someone else. I noticed how dry my feet were and ask for lotion . No lotion, so I grabbed the nearest tube I found after reading it too assure it was lotion. After getting some on my hand ready to apply a Male ( the mgr or owner I'm assuming) came over swiftly angrily saying I should've asked and wanted me to wash it off . I washed it off . The asked nicely for lotion again. Nothing . I went to pay and had to ask again because I was not leaving with dry feet. 5. A different nail tech came over and put lotion on the bottom of my feet and tried to leave . Worse nail experience I've had in Clarksville during my 6 years being stationed here! Upon entering customer service was extremely poor and everyone had an attitude. I was refused service because I told the technician I didn't want my nails to be drilled.. which is a reasonable request considering their my nails and I'm paying!!. She got an attitude and started talking in her native language. Eventually the older male owner made a huge scene, SCREAMING AND YELLING and told me that I'm not allowed to be serviced in their salon. What amplified the situation was the lady next to me requested no drilling and her request was granted with no issues! Also being the only African American Customer in the establishment being treated so poorly it was clear that this place didn't value Black customers. The owner and his daughters were disgustingly rude. . Also with Corona Virus going around they were wiping surfaces with a dirty rag and pledge surface clear instead of Clorox bleach wipes! My pedicure was amazing and the technician was friendly and took her time. A different tech did my full set with gel polish. I was not super happy with this portion- she was not friendly, she rushed, and she left my nails way too thick. This led to three of them lifting within a week. To top it off, they do not accept any kind of card and the technician just kept pointing to an ATM in the store- this was not my plan and I was super irritated since you have to withdraw increments of 20 plus I got hit with a fee. read more

I do not know why you would go ahead and assume that she has a rhinovirus with just several snifflings and sneezings. But I cannot blame you for being careful of that. Personally, I have never seen anybody wait for each layer of polish to dry before putting on the next layer, but the again, it might just be me. The polish you got on was regular polish so it's not unsual that it might scratch or smudge. But instead of coming back and ask them nicely to fix it, you stormed into the shop, demanded the tech to fix them. You only smudged a few fingers but decided to scratch them ALL off while waiting for a tech to fix them. The lady was gladly fix them for you but then your attitude showed again and was being very rude to the tech, saying that you don't want them to polish your nails anymore. But then you asked to come back tomorrow and they have to put the polish on for free, which they would be gladly to do if your attitude was a little nicer. But I understand that after a long day of working and having to put up with that, they don't want to deal with it anymore. I come here frequenly and everyone is very nice. I usually go to a different nail salon when I'm in town, but I wanted a simple geometric design that my usual place can't do. I looked up a few places with good reviews and their pics, and decided to try this salon. I'm never coming here again. I got a full acrylic set, coffin shaped. 1. They charge extra for coffin shape. I've been getting my nails done for years and have never been charged extra for the shape. I find that ridiculous and a way to nickle and dime customers. I showed them the design I wanted and my technician couldn't speak English, so she showed another tech next to her, who was slightly sarcastic in saying they might be able to do it. It really wasn't hard to do. I could draw it, and I'm not even an artist. Also, they have pics on here that show they can do it. Why market something if you can't do it? 2. My nails are not even, and when I showed the tech, she said my nails underneath aren't even, as if that affects the tip? I asked her to even 3 nails out on my left hand to match my right side, and she was lazy, and aggressive, where my left thumb isn't even coffin shaped or even. 3. The acrylic was so thick. I asked her to make it thinner and even it, and she did, but still did a bad job. You can see in other pics on this page they always make it too thick. I don't know how anyone reviews them 4 or 5 stars. I pay for a service and tip well, and it makes me mad that I did here when it was a terrible salon. I'm never coming here again. Bad service.
