Really impressed with their show room! During our remodel phase, we stopped into a couple time to look at carpet, LVP, tiles and other flooring options. The sales associates each time were super helpful and knowledgable. They helped guide us along the way with out any crazy sales pressure. It took me many months to decide on what type of flooring I wanted in my house and who I wanted to do it. I started at Kelly's Carpet and my sales person Roni Huston was super helpful and patient. I picked out many carpet samples to try out. I decided I would also try Nebraska Furniture Mart. The salesman there was very helpful and had many suggestions. I also left there with many samples. When I returned to NFM with more questions I spoke with a different salesman since my original one was out. This salesman basically told me the other salesman gave me false information and that the original salesman had only sold carpet for 7 months so he wouldn't know things. Wow...that left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Over the next couple of months I struggled with the decision of putting new carpet in my house or laminate flooring. I went back to Kelly's to again speak with Roni. At this point I really wanted laminate wood flooring in my house, especially now that they have waterproof and scratch resistant flooring (Core Tech Plus)! I had recently had laminate wood installed in my kitchen and entryway and was just not sure I could make a different color laminate wood flow with the rest of my house. Roni was kind enough to offer to come to my house and give me her opinion as to how it would flow. Sure enough she came up with a PERFECT answer that would allow me to get laminate in the rest of my house and it flows perfectly! It was a big job to move everything on the main floor to have this installed, but my installers made things easy for me and it really was not as huge as a hassle as I anticipated! Kelly's has a much more personal interaction for the customer and I didn't feel like just a number as I did at NFM. Needing new carpet im our bedroom and knowing a sales rep here, we decided to give Kelly's a shot. Our budget did not allow us to go with crazy expensive carpet, yet David S., our sales rep, treated us wonderfully and explained not just the process to us but also the difference in carpet options. The whole experience had been great so far. The measure tech made sure to call ahead and let us know of his arrival time. Once we had all the numbers, David went over the installation price quote with us and answered all our questions before setting up an appointment to install the carpet. The install will happen in a couple weeks and we are confident it will go as smooth as the whole process had been so far. We are excited to work with a company that cares about our needs and listens to our concerns over budget and everything else. Great job. We purchased what we thought was acacia hard wood floors. Our installer told us it was NOT hardwood. We talked to the salesman who would not stand behind his product. When he sold it to us he said we could bounce a bowling ball on it. Look for yourself at the deep scratches. If a woman wears heels in our family room she will sink in. After careful consideration, we opted to go with Kelly's Carpet rather than Nebraska Furniture Mart when carpeting our whole home. My wife preferred the smart strand carpet to the stain master offered by NFM. It is convenient that Kelly's offers to move large furniture in addition to free tear up and haul away of your old carpet, however, it is included in the cost that you pay for new carpet. All-in-all, the cost came in right under the quote from NFM which also included tear up and haul away. Our salesman, Rick, was professional and accommodating. He did a good job of showing us a number of options and helping us decide which carpet was best for our needs. Even after we placed the order but prior to install, he helped us extended the time frame for the interest free financing. It took a couple of weeks for the carpet to come in but once it did, the install was scheduled just three days later. The installation itself was complete in about eight hours by a two man crew who I suspect were contractors and not actual employees of Kelly's. Regardless, they did a great job of tearing up the old carpet and installing the new. The only complaint is that while moving furniture in our bedroom, they put a fairly large gash in one of the walls which will require some putty and paint to repair. I will say that we have a heavy bed frame and dresser so I'm sure that was a contributing factor. It's been nearly a week with our new carpet and we couldn't be happier with it. It looks and feels great to walk-on and when one of our pets had a mishap, it was quick and easy to clean. I recommend Kelly's if/when you're in the market for new carpet. read more

Went to Kelly Carpet in Omaha and met with some very nice people. Not great at getting back to you , but they eventually did. We were looking for LVP to install in our basement. They had a nice variety and what seems to be reasonable prices for the product. It was the estimate for the install. Basics - a L shaped concrete floor. The product, a snap and click floating floor. Well, that is where the fun started. A basic minimum price to install, then the full price added on. The Base shoe, that I was supplying had a charge to each linear foot, and even more for the install. The wrong product was quoted. They included furniture move cost for twice the number of pieces they were told would be there. For example $15 to move part of a sectional couch less than 20 feet. Just too many errors and over priced. read more

We left feeling like the customer does NOT come first. We needed over 2500 sq ft and ready to spend $15,000 to $20,000 for a house we are buying so they could install the carpet before we moved in. When we asked to schedule the measurements, they said wouldn't schedule a time, only a day. We have no way of making the home sellers agree to anytime on a specific day. They also wouldn't commit to an install in less than a month. Fortunately their competitor was much more customer friendly and said they would gladly schedule a specific time for the measurements, not a day or time window and would install it when we were ready. read more

My wife and I looked at a lot of carpet and finally it came down to two choices, Smart Choice and Kelly's. Kelly's had them beat on price so I spoke to them about some of the less favorable reviews that have been posted and they were very upfront and honest. The installers came on time, they were very careful with the furniture that they were moving and when done they moved everything back. A very professional install job and the carpet/pad is what we wanted. They met every obligation for which they advertise. I can't ask any more than that. read more

Very disappointing trip to you store. WE visited because we had done business many years ago. This time was different, we entered the store and approached the front desk, and a salesperson was summoned. We then proceeded to tell the salesperson what we were looking for. To carpet our living room and bedroom. The salesman with no further questions walked us right by the front room merchandise to the back where there were large rolls of carpet and told us this was what we had to pick from. My wife turned to me and asked why can't we look at the carpet in the front area. I did not have an answer. Now by way of explanation, we were not dressed up, my wife has stage 4 cancer, we just buried our son a few weeks ago, and I work full time and am a caregiver. I will admit to look at us we were a pair, but we were still customers with money in our pockets and should have been treated as such. Now after we all but had to drag the salesperson to front we picked out our living room carpet from there. Arrangements were made and a person was to come out and measure. I had premeasured and had a good idea of what the numbers were. I was surprised to get a measurement of 520 on a 19ft by 17ft room with a 3 by 11 hall and 2 sets of stairs that were 6 steps. We were told at that time that we would be contacted. To this time we have not received a call from your organization. Business must be great that you can turn away customers. We came to your company because of our past experience and we ae sadden to see that either you folks have changed or we have. I am going to return you carpet sample today, not the one we we tried to buy of course as you did not have a sample of the one we wanted to purchase? All in all a trip to Kelly's carpet by the Estrada's was anything but pleasant. read more

We had a terrible experience with Kelly's Carpet and would not recommend them to anyone!! The installers left huge gouges in ALL of our baseboards, bedroom doors and closet doors. They also chipped a large chunk out of our entryway tile and left globs of glue stuck to our new carpet in most of the bedrooms. Nothing was done about any of this except for our sales woman suggesting that we put Goo Gone on our carpet to try and get the glue out.......enough said. read more

We have used Kelly's Carpet to furnish several homes over the last 7 years. We did experience installation problems on our tile, grout and wood flooring. When our custom home was complete and we uncovered the expensive solid wood flooring, it was all wavey with the ends curling up. Neither Kelly's or Mohawk would honor the lifetime warranty that this expensive flooring was suppose to have and refused to take responsibility for anything. Both pointed fingers at each other and in the end when our attorney became involved they both turned it around on us. Would never shop at Kellys again, nor will we ever purchase anything made by Mohawk again. Buyer Beware! read more
