I have been talking back and forth with this company about coming to clean my house for awhile now…read more It was all set for them to come the day before a party I was having. I had asked if they can clean everything that was offered standard except the bedrooms. There was a misunderstanding and they thought they were only coming to clean the bathrooms and when I corrected it they asked to come the day of the party in the morning. I was fine with it as long as they were done by 2pm the latest. That's when they stopped messaging altogether and would only read my messages. I even called and got no answer. I didn't have enough time to look for someone else to come clean. This is the most unprofessional and very irresponsible thing to do as a company. If they would have responded to I probably could have found someone else to do the job.

When I texted at 10:06 they said they'd be there in 10 minutes. At 10:30 they said they are arriving now. Finally arrived at 10:50. Wasted 2 hours of our time 2) their system is extremely irritating with excessive texts, reminders, and emails warnings of extra fees (parking etc) if you don't do this or that. We got over a dozen unnecessary messages 3) when they arrived we were surprised to hear how many things were 'extra'. Shame on us for not reading the agreement carefully, but we'd had services before and they didn't charge extra for blinds, bathroom cupboards, kitchen cupboards, the blinds dusting, refrigerator etc. 4) after all that the service itself was mediocre. We had to redo the stove top and kitchen sink and the face of the appliances. They took our roll of paper towels we had in the kitchen. Countertops were not to our standard. The dispatcher tried to help and was sympathetic and offered a small discount, but I'd have far rather paid full price and saved 2 hours and not had to spend time later finishing the job. Would not use them again.

He offered us the best price of the companies that responded to our initial request, which was for the carpeted stairs and two small landings, though he did have to raise the price slightly (like $20 or so) when he arrived because our description was not quite accurate. We only used their carpet cleaning service, but I was intrigued when I saw some of the other services they offer, like special floor treatments, listed on the company's van. Clearly, they do more than just clean carpets. He didn't mind when we added to our initial request and was able to quickly quote us a new, fair price once he saw the space. Admittedly, he did end up arriving somewhat after the window he had stated, due to other jobs he had to finish, but I'm sure some jobs take longer than you expect, and it wasn't a problem for us. He was fairly quick and efficient once he arrived, I thought. He started the actual cleaning process by spraying stain remover on the worst spots. He had protection for our stairs' corners from the hoses and tubes and used booties over his shoes once the carpet was wet (as one might expect). He even moved our large, heavy bed in our master bedroom by himself so he could clean the entire carpet in there (part of our updated request). I thought we were going to move it together, but when I asked about it after he had gotten started cleaning, he said he had already moved it! He was friendly and respectful. I think he took something like 90 minutes for the whole job, start to finish, which seemed reasonable to me considering the logistics and size of the job. I told him we may call him again for the one bedroom we left out, and I meant it. Overall, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend Momentum's carpet cleaning service, especially if you don't need them to come exactly in the window.

Know your square footage it will help you determine the price, sanitation ingredients are more, walk in closet is more type of cleaning head for carpet can also be more although they did throw that in grout sealing can also be more if you want it done and there maybe a destination charge to have them show up. Which they do tell you upfront when you make the appointment. Wife says the grout being clean is not great but maybe it still needs to dry out. Prior to signing up for the first initial "deep clean", I spoke with the representative…read moreand told her I did NOT want "Budget Friendly Fabuloso" (those are Fabuloso's words, not mine (CHEAP)) cleaner used in my home. The representative reassured me they do not use Fabuloso and their products were all eco-friendly. I asked if this company would use my cleaners if I did not want to use their products. I was told using my products would not be a problem if I did not like their products. The 2 technicians that showed up were on time and very polite. I have a fairly large home and this initial clean took 5 hours. The technicians showed up with Fabuloso and did not have any other sanitizing product(s). They would not use my product and the technicians used Dawn Soap, Simple Green, and Windex on EVERYTHING! I did tell them NOT to use any of their products on my granite counters and they did use my granite cleaner on the granite counters. Living in Arizona, we fight with the dust DAILY!! The technicians dusted with a feather duster. I watched the feather duster taking the dust straight to the air. When I stopped the dusting I was told they follow up the furniture with a micro-fiber to wipe up any further dust. I told them NOT to spread the dust with a feather duster and to use just the micro-fibers and WIPE the dust up. Needless to say, everything was still dusty when they left, including all my blinds. All my glass showers are streaked, all the toilets are sticky, the floors still had spots all over them and when I woke the next day and walked on the floors barefoot for about 10 min, my feet were dirty! Their "eco-friendly" product streaked my porcelain tile floors. I asked them if they would use just plain hot water and alcohol on my tile and I was told NO. (This is what professional floor company's use) I watched one of the technician's pick rugs up and put them in a pile and put them back after they vacuumed the carpets/floors. Never shaking the rugs or vacuuming the rugs themselves. After the vacuuming was completed, there were foot prints all over the carpets and they did not look like they had even been vacuumed. The ONE sofa I was allowed to have vacuumed (they only allow one without an additional fee) still had crumbs and dog hair in the cracks of the sofa. I took a wettened paper towel and wiped the 4" tile threshold to the shower after one of the showers had been "cleaned". It was filthy!! I looked at the floor to the side and behind the toilets which was still dirty. I have a large sliding back door to my home. The technician explained my door was too big for their full cleaning and he proceeded to only clean 2 of the 5 panes of glass. If I wanted the full door cleaned I would have to schedule this when I made the appointments and it would cost an additional $30, $10 per pane and I would get the 2 as part of the "normal" service. I also have a glass front door and my 2 little dogs rub their noses making marks. They NEVER even touched the (One pane of glass) front door. The other 2 back doors also have fixed glass panes in them which were never touched. Now we get to the kitchen. Dawn soap was first used on mu stainless steel appliances, when that streaked REALLY bad, they tried their Simple Green which streaked worse. I told them to just stop using their products on my appliances. When the technician first showed up, I showed them the laundry room where I have a large utility sink. I told them to help themselves to get clean hot water or anything else they may need (cleaners/ micro-fibers/paper towels, mops, whatever they may need). The buckets were filled when they first started and after the 5th hour, it was the same (now dirty and cold) water in their buckets. I could take this review even further of the HORRIFIC experience and attempt to clean. $400+ WASTED!! When I called the company back on Monday morning to tell them I was unhappy with their service, I got NO WHERE and asked to speak with a manager. I was told the manager would call me when available. This was a different representative than the initial phone call. This person just kept saying over and over again how they use eco-friendly products. When I asked him what they use for sanitizing (toilets/floors/sinks, etc) he said he would have to look that up on their product list. I'm sorry folks, but wiping something down with a micro-fiber and water is NOT cleaning!!!! Lastly, I know a lot of folks LOVE eco-friendly products (and I'm not judging this choice) but, my house did not smell clean, and was DEFINITELY NOT CLEAN. I will admit, I am VERY picky when I clean, again, WHEN I CL EAN, so I NEVER expect cleaners to clean like I do, but, I look at it as, they are at least getting some of the basics so I will follow up on little things they may miss. Other than the granite counters (they used my granite cleaner) the entire house has to be re-cleaned. WASTE OF MONEY!!!!

Neither spoke English, and they spent nearly an hour in my bathroom--which wasn't particularly dirty--laughing, chatting, and lingering around my personal items. They refused to move on to other rooms despite my repeated requests. When I asked one of them to begin vacuuming the bedroom, the supervising cleaner became hostile and abruptly left--less than an hour after arriving--without finishing the master bath. This was not just poor service--it was a complete disregard for professionalism, privacy, and basic customer respect.
