Many of our sitters do this to keep busy and to have the pet companionship that they miss. Our sitters are very reliable and responsible. When caring for a house we will ensure that the visits are provided that meet insurance requirements and that the home is secure. When at the home we will vary drapes, lights and blinds to give your home a lived in look. We check refrigerators & freezers, sump pits and in winter run water to ensure that the plumbing is not frozen. Our pet sitters care for all types of pets, including dogs, cats, large and small birds and all of the other many household pets that families may have. Cats normally need a daily visit or twice daily visits if there are dietary or medical reasons. We provide for dogs twice daily visits or live-in services when the owner is away and a dog walking service while the owner is at work or the dog is still a puppy. Not only did Carla leave 3+ hours earlier than was agreed upon, not only did she give me less than 24 hours notice that she was refusing to do the dog walk (it was too "cold" and it was her never-before-heard-of policy for the "safety of the dogs"), not only did she fed the food I'd pre-prepared to the wrong cats, not only did she leave dirty dishes she'd used for me to wash, Carla walked (she agreed to do it after I told her how mad I was) my two small, shorthair dachshunds in -22 weather WITHOUT THEIR WINTER SWEATERS. I'd made a point of showing her where the sweaters were kept and which belonged to which dog not 4 days prior and she simply ignored my instructions and put my two little dogs health and safety at risk. I was absolutely appalled by how Carla cared for my pets and the excuses she made to "explain" her terrible service. I wouldn't let her look after a dead goldfish, much less animals I loved.

We had been having a hard time finding a groomer that did a good job for our Golden Retriever, at a…read moredecent price, and who was friendly etc. At our last place, they did an ok job, but the groomer was pretty rude and didn't listen to our requests as to what we wanted for our dog, and they weren't just aesthetic requests, he has a lot of allergies, skin issues etc that we felt a groomer should be aware of. We took our dog to Jessica at Pet Valu today and she did an AMAZING job. Our dog looks so great, but she also listened to my husband when he explained Otis's issues and what we wanted and was super kind and friendly. I couldn't be there due to work but my husband said all the staff there were really friendly and great. The cost was really reasonable as well, especially considering the great job she did. We will definitely be back - I think we found our new groomer! :)
