I have never left my cats with anyone in past 3 years since I moved to Winnipeg! But I coudnt avoid these travel plans so I really needed someone! Gary was available on a very short notice and he came over within half hour of my call to go through the details! Most importantly, my cats looked happy and healthy when I reached back home!!! I feel blessed to have found Gary at a time when we were planning a last minute trip and needed someone to reliably care for our brood of cats, guinea pigs, and rabbits. What can I say that hasn't already been said about And Away You Go's excellent service? I booked Gary to care for my two cats so I could visit my elderly parents. Prior to leaving, one of my cats developed a very aggressive form of cancer. Gary was prepared to care for her and see to her medical needs, no matter how extreme. Sadly she passed before we left, but his willingness says a lot about Gary's compassion and knowledge of animal health. He also understood and respected my remaining cat's extreme fear of strangers. He even offered to feed him some pumpkin to help his digestion that was off due to the stress of missing both his mother (who passed) and me. Gary also watered many young transplants in my garden during two weeks of inconsistent rain and cut my grass. It was delightful to come home to a healthy garden and tidy yard. One of my neighbours' texted me while I was away to say how impressed she was with the time and effort Gary spent at my home each day. I give And Away You Go my highest recommendation.
