More recently however I found out why I like to shop locally. Not only did they deliver my order, but they did it quickly and with a smile. Look everyone knows where this country of ours is headed, outsource everything, NAFTA and the 90's did a number on America, but maybe just maybe there is hope. With a clever name like Minuteman which screams America, and local sourcing and smiles there really is no reason for me to ever call anybody else. Lindsay and her crew are fast, efficient, knowledgeable and priced right. I was a printer for 4 years and know the long hours, customer OK's and general bull@#$ you have to put up with and now that I am on the other end, let me just tell you how nice it is to have someplace like this. No job too big or small and the personal touch that this country so sorely needs and misses. So I had the brilliant idea of getting something done to it before totally disentegrating. Had to convince the men working there that he could make some punching holes and put on a spiral or something on it. He was in a bad mood and said he could not do it. I asked gently for the second time what I needed and felt like an idiont having to bed him to do it. He practically snatched the book from my hands and made the holes and put on the spiral. After all, he threw the thing on the counter and said: four dollars. I was so shocked that could not say a word, had to take the original staple out of the book all by myself using my hands. I felt completely stupid. I wished I had gone somewhere else. Maybe he was just having a bad day.

At the Forest St location in Medford, I didn't have much of a problem from the previous times I've gone here except with what happened the last time I went here. The most recent time I went here, it was my turn in line and when I brought something up to the counter to get mailed, the woman behind the counter responded in a rudely manner to me because I guess I apparently didn't prepare it correctly to get it sent out for delivery according to her. Instead of giving me an attitude over the mistake I had made, she could have been a lot more helpful and professional with fixing the problem. I ended up just walking out and leaving without mailing what I needed to get mailed and went somewhere else to get it mailed because I didn't want to deal with her no more after how she treated me. I get that it's stressful working for the post office and I can understand that postal workers deal with a lot of disrespectful and impolite customers all the time, but since postal workers are government employees, it's like they have an excuse to be unpleasant with anyone because they have high job security.

A few months ago, for example, I brought in a foam core poster board to ask IF they could cut some small amount off each side...the only shop that had told me they could definitely do the job was quite some distance away. The Flash Print tech on duty kindly said she believed she could do the work, since the poster was not too thick/dense-- and she did! Which saved me *hours* of traveling that day. Another time, I brought in a page or two to be copied-- and was not charged, even though another kindly staff person did all the work-- not me. As of today ,Oct 4 , it said package label created & delivery time is pending .
