I am updating my review to 3 stars because there has been noticeable progress in Royal Kunia. The irrigation system is being addressed, and I've seen the technician out there working hard all day to get it back on track, which I really appreciate. However, there is still room for improvement regarding the cleanup. After the landscaping is done, rubbish, dead flowers, and piles of leaves are often left behind or simply blown into the street rather than being collected. I hope to see the same level of effort applied to the final cleanup as they are currently putting into the repairs. read more

This is a small company who was awarded a contract to maintain a large community. They have struggled from the start to meet the expectations set. If you seek to use this company for your landscaping needs, make sure they have adequate resources and ability to provide the services you require from the start and not have a "learning curve" to settle in to any contract agreement. Great experience with Kendall lately. Trimmed overgrown Mango tree. Estimate was reasonable, workers on time, and efficiently performed in 4 hours. Excellent service!! Wanted my 2 avocado trees trimmed and some brushes cut down. Jerry came by to look at the trees. Come to find out one of my avocado tree trunks was hallow and needed to be cut down. Kendall called me a couple days later to provide a quote. He sent a crew a few weeks later and they did an amazing job! This is the second time we used Kendall Landscape Services. First time was is 2014. Highly recommend this company read more

Kendall currently has a contract with Crosspointe Community. With that being said, the reviews previously for this company is misleading because the crew including owner has not met even close to what is needed to care for landscaping here. Grass and shrubs are all slowly dying. They claim to have worked on the sprinkler system...they are no longer being turned on and not even fixed. They hide leaves under bushes and on the grass. To the point where it suffocates the grass and dies off. They are no where to be found on property. They are constantly being told to do their jobs. Its unfortunate that companies like this exists, NO INTEGRITY. If you want to waste your hard earned money and precious time...go ahead and hire this lazy company. read more

I recommend Andrew and his crew for maintaining the grounds around my house. They artfully pruned and trimmed 6 large fruit trees, and did the job in 4 hours (2 hrs earlier than estimated), after prior contractor butchered it. They completely cleaned my yard of every speck of rubbish after grinding all the branches. They are professional, take great care in protecting my and my neighbors houses from incidental damage. We received excellent service from Kendall Landscape Services. I needed my mango tree to be removed from my front yard before it damaged my tile wall. Andrew came by to assess and recommend what needed to be done and told me that he would call me the next time his crew would be in my area. Andrew was able to fit me in about 1 1/2 weeks later and sent his crew to remove my tree. Andrew is a man of his word - very honest, knowledgeable, polite and trustworthy! For the past two days, with time on my hands as I stay cooped up in my apartment, I've watched as tree trimmers worked across the street at Kawaiahao Church. Ordinarily I wouldn't have paid much attention, but I was fascinated by the obvious work ethic I witnessed. What attention to detail! Dependability??? Non-existent. I scheduled 2 appointments for a free estimate to remove a 40' palm. I was told someone would be at my house between 8:00-10:00. I waited for them for the scheduled time and at 10:30 called, only to find he wasn't coming "because a job from the previous day ran late". Rescheduled, same situation, a no show. I will definitely use Kendall again and will refer them to all my friends and neighbors. They answer their phones! Polite and knowledgeable. They did everything they said they would do for a great price. They took all cuttings/debris with them. My trees look great and they kept my yard clean. Will definitely use them again. If you need trees trimmed or removed, you should definitely call them. You will not be disappointed. I was so impressed with the whole experience. From estimate to the final stump grinding--all was handled professionally. Wow! What an efficient team! Andrew and the crew were awesome! Kendall is first on my list if we need tree services again, and they are first on the list for us to recommend to others. I was very satisfied and surprised by the job done by Kendall. My experiences with other service suppliers has shown most to be unresponsive and not overly concerned with quality work or customer satisfaction. Kendall broke that perception. Got a coupon in the Valpak so I decided to call and I'm glad I did! Lady answered the phone was nice, scheduled my free estimate and a few days later the Owner Andrew showed up as planned. Got my trees cut and removed within a few weeks. Great job! read more
