Absolutely Terrible Experience - Avoid Thompson & Boys LLC at All Costs!…read more I contacted Josh Thompson, the owner of Thompson & Boys LLC, and my first interaction was incredibly unpleasant. I explained that I don't have a lot of money right now, so I wanted to start slowly and just do one room at a time. His immediate response was to ask if I could put the job on a credit card. When I told him that I didn't have any credit available due to being on short-term disability since December, he made an extremely inappropriate comment, suggesting that I "learn how to paint myself." This kind of comment was not only rude but completely unnecessary. Despite this, I decided to continue and explained that I had tried painting the house myself 25 years ago when we first moved in, and it ended in disaster. His response? Another snarky remark. At this point, I was already regretting contacting him, but I pushed forward because I still needed the work done. Next, I sent him pictures of the small room (about 10x11 feet) I wanted painted. He said it would take 3 days to finish due to drying time, which seemed completely excessive for such a small room. When I asked him for an official estimate, he texted me a breakdown of $1,600 for labor and $400 for materials. This is absurdly high for one tiny room. I also asked what kind of paint he would use, and he listed "cashmere, superpaint, or emerald" for the walls, and "Emerald Urethane" for the millwork. He stated he would need 3 gallons of tinted primer, 3 gallons of paint, and 1 gallon of urethane. When I mentioned that four years ago, I had paid $6,000 for my entire 1,390 square foot house to be painted with two coats and some minor repairs by a reputable company, Stephens Painting, he responded in the most rude and dismissive way possible: "Let's not waste each other's time. I painted an entire house for $17,000. Material alone was $3,500 for 2,200 square feet." His response completely blew me away, and I couldn't believe the audacity. I was not trying to compare costs, just giving context that I had worked with a professional company before, and his pricing seemed wildly inflated. This entire exchange, from his rude remarks to his outrageous pricing, was just too much. I had more work I wanted done, but at this point, I wouldn't trust him with anything in my home. I will be sharing this review on every platform I can to warn others about his over-the-top pricing, his lack of professionalism, and his rude customer service. I don't want anyone else to go through the same frustrating experience I did. Avoid Josh Thompson and Thompson & Boys LLC at all costs. His poor attitude and ridiculous pricing make it clear that he does not value his customers.

Our salesperson, Sergio, arrived at our home within hours of our request for an inspection and gave us a fair and honest estimate. Unfortunately, 1/4 of our roof was severely damaged and required replacement. The crew arrived a few days later and got right to work. They were very respectful of our property, covering our deck and multiple areas below the work area. They did a nice job of leaving the job site in good condition. The roof looks great again and I am very pleased with the results. I would definitely recommend NLC Roofing.

Darrell and his crew came out and had our project complete in 2 weeks! This included, running water from the main water line at the street, tying electrical into the shop with a multitude of plugs (including a 50amp plug for our RV inside and outside of the shop), hung garage doors and installed the openers. They also laid a road base/rock drive way from our back gate all the way to the shop. One of the most honest and up front companies I have ever dealt with! I had 3 trees to remove, we discussed pricing beforehand. $400 per tree…read more Problems started immediately as soon as he realized I'm remotely managing this, with a tenant in place. Dylan visited the property and decided one of the trees was too big and wanted to charge higher amount ($650). I agreed. He then set out to do absolutely whatever HE felt was convenient. He cut one tree down. "Trimmed" another tree. At this point he called me and said he's done with 2 trees, can I send in the money for finishing up two trees. This was a blatant lie. I did not ask for proof, because I didn't think disgusting liars like Dylan existed anymore. I sent him the money. He sent me photos of what he did afterwards, which showed two of three trees still standing. On asking why there are 2 trees still up, he mentioned he spoke to the tenant and decided to keep the tree up. This didn't make any sense. Nobody changes the agreement without discussing it, lies about it to the person paying and gets paid as though they did the full work. That's when he ended up "finishing" the other tree with minimal work done (of trimming) because he had enough with this. Mind you his communication with me was to say nothing about all of this until he got paid, then he said his life was in danger to cut trees. Like who the heck forced him to work on things he didn't want to? He then said he'll "make it right" by showing up on Monday to fix it. Would you guess what happened next? He didn't show up and decided to run away with the money. Dishonest cheats like this shouldn't exist. I'm now looking at legal options to deal with the mess. Please find someone more honest to work with.
