We had our roof replaced by Harvey Roofing and Construction. I took a long time getting to know…read moredifferent roofing companies and different products that were recommended to me. Seriously, I did a ton of research. I had many quotes. In this process, I ended up talking with Harvey. He sounded like the most genuine person I have met in a long time. He, beyond thoroughly, discussed with me the things I wanted to know, and he had so much knowledge and seemed to unquestionably care about the jobs they do. I felt they would not cut corners or let me down and they didn't. Harvey made the project begin in a timely manner and when they started they arrived early in the morning and worked until dark, and then he told me they would be back the next day to do finishing touches, and they were there first thing the next morning. They completed the finishing touches that morning and then Harvey came again that evening to re-magnet for nails again. He picked up tiny pieces of trash and went over the entire area again with the magnet, and then went over the drive-way area two more times. I bought a Class 4 shingle and he sent the warranty information for me and sent me a paper to give to the insurance company for the substantial discount on my home owners insurance. Harvey was also on site during the installation of the new roof and he sent pictures to me of what they were doing. He made sure the structure of the roof was good and showed me where they needed to replace decking. I feel that I received a roof that is more solid than what I had and that he did not cut corners, nor did he do un-necessary things. The products looked very high quality and he showed them to me and explained everything about everything. I felt I did not have to wonder or worry about anything. His bid was very reasonable and I felt was extremely fair. In any industry today where we have to hire someone to do a very important job for us, and we have to trust them, and everything is complicated to death and stressful, it feels incredible to find a trustworthy person to hire. Harvey made the entire thing uncomplicated, and I felt at ease. I did not experience any fear as to how it would go. My favorite word for Harvey is genuine, and after spending the time with him and seeing his character, I did not need to continue looking. I would say to you to look no further than this company. If you want to do your own research, of-course do, but if you wish someone already has done that and found the best to be found, then give yourself a break and just hire Harvey. (Way over 5 stars.)

He went over and above my estimate of pics to be hung. Also he installed the 30 handles I had purchased. I did miscalculate the amount of handles needed. It needed two more for the guest bathroom. I asked if when I received the handles if he would mount them as well as hang two small pics that were missed. He told me that would not be a problem. I contacted him when the items arrived and he said he would work me in. He did not work me in. I contacted him again and he was apologetic and said he would work me in again (paraphrasing) which so far he hasn't. It has been almost two months and I decided to update my review rather than contact him again. I firmly believe that in the customer services business which Andrew's company obviously is, I have found that the proof of whether a company provides world class service or does not is usually not in the initial job but mostly in the follow up when commitment to ones word becomes paramount. Not every job goes as planned. The companies I pick who live up to their own commitment continue to get rewarded by other paying jobs. This job was a be back type. No remuneration just a small business owner standing up for his own word. If he felt he needed to get paid a trip charge he did not express it to me. Personally I think the man does excellent work and it took me two months to publish this follow up. Centennial Roofing had installed a new roof for us in 2010, so, we contacted them to do the repairs. They exceeded our expectations and even repaired areas that were outside the scope of the estimate at no extra charge. They worked on it about a week later and they got it all done that afternoon in about 5 hours or so. They replaced damaged and rotting gables which was where some rain would sometimes get into when it would storm badly, they replace those with beautiful white gables that sealed up those areas and caulked other things and it's stormed since the roof was fixed and there have been no more leaks. Plus they sent me a Thank you card and a bucket of cookies! If you're going to get your roof fixed don't hesitate to call these folks and have it done right.
