Fully trusted him in the process and it came out beautifully. He was also very kind and patient with my situation- I was out of the country then unexpectedly moved right after dropping my artwork off... they kept my art safe for me for almost a year until I could come back and get it. I felt so bad and appreciated this so much! Always support small businesses. They treat you much better than giant corporate ones as well! They really take their time and make sure you are happy. A well curated gallery for purchase by the most demanding buyers. Lots of pieces by local artists, yet the work looks like it belongs in a meseum. THE BUSINESS The pricing is very reasonable for the quality and appeal. The Staff (especially Robert) is very knowledgeable, friendly, professional. Small little gallery tucked behind Rose Bakery... a hidden gem! THE EXPERIENCE We bought a painting here for Mother's Day, they gave us 5 star service throughout the entire buying process, educating us about the artist and the painting. They wrapped up the painting very professionally and held it for us to pick up on Mother's Day as a surprise. They even offered to store it for a few weeks while our family moves. HIGHLY RECOMMEND SCENE GALLERY!

I loved seeing the sculpture that will be at Burning Man this year. The garden is on the smaller size for a botanical garden (some stuff was under maintenance while we were there) but the gardens were impeccable. My favorite part was all the dahlias. Stunning! Your entry ticket ($12 for adults) also includes admission to the library, which had a bonsai area and some fun history. We were able to easily find free parking nearby. All the staff was so friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the work. I definitely recommend this spot! Such a beautiful, relaxing space.

Beautiful still. We came the day before Mother's Day for the rose show. Looking forward to coming back when construction completes because at $5 admission that is kind of a rip for how much is there. It took us longer because I recognized someone at the rose show and my son is really into plants but for an average person I'd say 30-45 min is really how much is there right now until they finish the remodel

The Hues Skelley Art Gallery is located right in the center of that tiny town, and has many artists paintings for sale; they are breathtakingly beautiful. If you own a home anywhere in California, this is a must see sort of place because you need to purchase an artpiece - or two! I took a couple of art oil painting classes from Ms Deb Hues herself; it was a week long each time and I can say that I'm painting in thicker, juicier strokes using my brushes in a more efficient manner. Deb Hues does landscapes and beach scapes, and she has a beautiful and distinctive flair to her paintings. Lisa Skelley is a pastel artist, and she creates the most beautiful ocean scenes with dramatic crashing of the waves on the seashore. If you are lucky enough to be in Balboa Island, it's a must see kind of place! So please get in there to browse the paintings. You will see Hues and Skelley paintings, but also I saw Terry Miura's paintings, Ryan Jensens and Mark Fehlman, to name a few. These art pieces will rock your visual senses and they will beautify the world around you - and make your home a more beautiful place to be. Hues & Skelley Art Gallery is in their 26th year in business, so they're doing something really important for this world we live in. Thank you.

It would have been a massive job for me to try and sell everything on my own, not to mention it would have taken months, so I interviewed a few estate sale firms. As soon as I met Catherine, I knew my search was over. I knew she and her staff were the ones for me. They handled everything from start to finish and even did an inventory of everything for me which was really helpful. That alone would have been a burden for me to do. The sale was super organized and because we had some antiques and vintage stuff, there were people lined up outside waiting to be first in. The bulk of our stuff sold the first day but the sale went for a total of 3 days and what little was left, we donated. I was hoping to sell several large items in the five figure range as well as many collectible pieces of Herend, Lladro, Royal Copenhagen and Waterford. The two day set up was a disaster. Their pricing methodology was a joke. I was hands on and kept a list of my items with the pricing. I was told this was a waste of time. Later, I found out why. All my collectibles were sold at garage sale prices. Also, items in my home not marked for sale were sold for peanuts without asking. I was ordered out of my home one hour prior to the sale start time on Day #1. They needed this time to "embellish" my sale without my knowledge. These items included fur coats on a rack, many purses of all sizes, scarves , "Chanel" sunglasses and professional jewelry cases. At the end of day #1 of the sale I arrived home with my house left unlocked and no staff present. My living room had been turned into a retail shop. The second day of the sale I arrived to my home earlier to be screamed at by the manager as their items from my living room were being packed up. No customers present. At my insistence I was handed a poor list of my items sold. I could only take a photo copy of it. I was then paid my 60%. Catherine made herself unavailable for the entire four day fiasco. Her "manager" was the most abusive, ruthless and uncaring human being I have ever dealt with. Please stay away at all cost! Beware!!!

Sometimes it's not just the framing! The word "Gallery"…read moredescribes a place for exhibiting and selling art but really it's so much more. For me it's the experience - the time spent looking, studying, and simply browsing a collection is worth gold to me. Chemers Gallery in Tustin is that place that offers that whole experience. Every time I go in there, which I admit isn't near often enough but probably more than some, I delight in "finds". I have a fairly decent collection of artwork and it's not confined to paintings. I've ceramics, sculptures, glasswork, pottery, photographs, and a few weird pieces of found object works as well. Quite a few of those pieces have come from this jewel of a gallery so close to home. The owner Karen, and her friendly staff have always allowed me the luxury to simply roam. I have to walk through numerous times to take everything in. I get distracted by one or two pieces and then turn around and find something else completely unexpected. And, it becomes mine. I love this place!! I am a retired healthcare designer and Chemers was the art consultant on a few of our firms healthcare projects. What I enjoyed was the chosen works were always different from the predictable works too often seen in healthcare spaces and, they always complimented the concepts of our interiors. I also love the shows and exhibitions they often host here. Often soliciting works from local artists, craftspeople, and even foodies, these "pop-up" shows are always good for gifts, wearables, and sometimes taste-ables! And if I'm lucky, I often walk away with a new piece! I always look forward to stopping in on these shows and could spend an hour or more perusing. Do yourself a favor and visit this gallery - oh, and of course, don't forget, they also do excellent framing!!

If you didn't know her work, it's the most fun, colorful and happy art at the intersection of Impressionism, portals and optical illusion, where you squint your eyes and each segment of color is like a pixel in a tapestry of interwoven color and texture. The vibe was amazing ing and I just had to go see this art and support this artist. I arrived and found an entire treasure trove of fascinating art by dozens of artists. Each style is unique and well worth coming by. Imagine walking through a museum of the most amazing only talented artists and all the art is for sale. I bought two pieces. One of Shiri's of course. The art is reasonably priced and there are many different sizes. I highly recommend Artspace Warehouse for some of the best talent in the L.A. art world. The staff is wonderful and extremely helpful and full of knowledge about each and every artist, the types of art and our chats were so chill- no pretentious vibes here. Just joy. This was really a thrill to see locals, families choosing art for their homes, and people like me who came a bit of a distance to share the art experience here.
