Wow -Timree has a new studio/gallery. The space is amazing, inviting but it's Timree and her amazing energy and talent that make it great. I took the first of a new type of class and way of painting. The studio lighting was low with candles on the stations next to our easels. The class was a contemporary painting that included new to me techniques and was inspired with a guided meditation. First we traced "Sacred Geometry" or a flower of life on the blank canvas for healing and transformation. Then a base color for grounding and next a guided meditation (my mom came through) then we to painted blind folded. It was a great experience. Timree is a genius and intentional without being stuffy or strict. I'm a long term paint club member it's great value and this class was priceless for me. read more

My bestfriend and I love Paint Nights! We have been to a few ones, but this one is my absolute favorite! "COFFEE COFFEE COFFEE" -Lorelai Gilmore. I am a devoted coffee addictionist like the Gilmore Girls and love all things coffee: coffee cups/mugs, coffee decor, coffee syrups, coffee beans, French presses, and THAT coffee aroma. So when I found out Timree had a Paint Night featuring coffee, I couldn't click the purchase button fast enough! Timree was a bit difficult to find at night, but once we got out of the car and started searching for it, it wasn't too difficult to find. Most of the ladies at Paint Night were veterans with ample painting experience and have turned it into an ongoing monthly affair. Obviously, Timree is doing something right if they have repeat customers who've been coming back for months! Being first-timers, everyone was super welcoming and our paint instructor was amazing! This two hour class made me want more! You are allowed to bring alcohol refreshments, which my bestie and I did! Everyone else was a party pooper, but honestly I think my painting started to look better after I had a few sips or that could of been the alcohol messing with my vision. Who knows! All I know is I love my painting and I wish I could of gone during Christmas time because all of their paintings were beyond adorable! At first the painting looks intimidating, but as the paint instructor stated the painting technique is very chunky and is very forgiving so you don't really have to worry about staying within the lines. First of all, they are not kidding when they say this is the CUTEST paint studio ever! I've been to a couple of other paint nights that were at restaurants, but there's something to be said about going to an adorable paint studio. I knew right away that I liked their style because several of the paintings they had on the wall were accented with glitter. Glitter is much favorite color! Let me mention that you do not need any previous painting experience. The instructor moves at a nice pace and keeps everyone at the same step (we had Katie and she was great!). If anyone felt like they totally goofed, Katie would right away tend to the moans and like magic would make a couple of brush stroaks on their painting and it was all better. We were immediately greeted by our instructor Sarah who was SO sweet (highly recommend taking a class taught by Sarah)! I honestly haven't painted since I was maybe 10 years old so I didn't think it was possible for me to paint anything that resembled the image we were going to make, but somehow Sarah gave the best instructions and my image didn't turn out half bad, woo! Tonight I took one of those paint classes. I'll be honest, I'm not creative, i'm not artistic and I have NEVER been interested in any of these paint classes. The idea of going home with a painting that you will likely NOT hang on your wall seems to be like a waste of time and money. Then I found out that Timree paint studio does a "Paint your Pet Night". What??? Paint your pet? How cool is that, right? I decided to paint my Lily girl. The idea of putting her painting up somewhere in our home sounded awesome to me. Came to the Timree Studio, now located in Westcliff Plaza (in the rear) for a paint night in October, and the painting featured Halloween cocktails. I'm a huge fan of paint (and wine) events, and have been to many with various companies. Timree is cool because everything is done in the Timree style, which is cute, colorful and whimsical. So, if you like the style, you can pretty much come to any event and be pleased. Other paint and wine companies, I've found that I didn't want to go because all the paintings were of landscapes and boring flowers. I was familiar with Timree from the Tustin District location, which was short lived. I'm glad I was finally able to make it to an event. The class was small (only 8 of us because 2 no-showed), and so we able to go at a comfortable pace and get some one on one attention. The instructor was patient and helpful, and assisted with any boo-boos we made. The studio is beautifully decorated, and they sell items printed with Timree's art - bags, notecards, and more. Timree is bring your own wine, and they have a little table off to the side where you can stash your wine and snacks (and purses) so they're out of the way. The only thing I didn't like was that the painting was smaller than other places (11x17). Timree is also more expensive than other companies, and I don't think you'll be able to find a Groupon or other deal. But overall, we had a great time, and I loved the way my art came out! read more

Came here to celebrate my friend's birthday party and we had an absolute blast! We were a group of 9 girls, none of us with any painting experience. I myself am not very artistic and I honestly did not believe I would be able to create such beautiful art. The birthday girl choose the Eiffel Tower, balloon cart painting and they all came out absolutely beautiful. Lil was our instructor and she was just absolutely amazing. She guided us step by step, and was extremely patient with us. She is English/Spanish bilingual which was super awesome because I feel most comfortable speaking in Spanish, so that was a plus for me! I knew of Timree's studio through the Real Housewives of Orange County episode a few years back but didn't make it in until after my friend went (about 2 years ago). I had previously done a Groupon paint night and was not a fan of the experience so I was hesitant to pay more for a paint class. Not sold on my artist skills, I signed up with my friend. This was my friends and my first time and we lucked out with getting to paint with an extremely talented instructor, Coralynn Arcand! I'm not gonna lie, I was a little nervous when I first entered into the whimsical studio. I am by no means "creative". At the beginning of the class, Timree started with "I am a self-taught artist". This simple statement really took of the edge that I had felt when I walked in. If she can do it, then maybe I could so it also... The first class I took was the cafe scene. At first, the complete painting looked daunting, but as the class progressed, it was clear that the once complex image was only a matter of knowing which color to use. At the end of class, when I saw my version on the cafe (she encouraged each person to add their own personal flair to the painting) I was amazed. I did it! Timree is patient and a wonderful instructor. Her studio provides the right atmosphere for ANYONE to be creative. My friends brought me here for a surprise bday private party a couple of weeks ago and it was AMAZING! Such a cool, cozy and super comfy place.
