They were nice and polite Affordable Worked well unsupervised Cons Broke some of our stuff Took a long time Took lots of breaks Put together furniture incorrectly Dropped some of our fragile boxes so some of our stuff was broken (irreplaceable items ) Spoke ugly about a few other movers Over all I guess you get what you pay for and maybe it was just one bad experience. They were nice and prompt. I'm not super pissed about the furniture being put together incorrectly I'm more upset about some of my stuff being broken. Things happen I understand it just bothers me. For the price and labor, Kenny and his crew did well. We had a 4.5 mile move with some rather large items that Kenny and his guys took care of. On the plus, they were available one day earlier than scheduled, so we were able to move into our Newly built house a day early! They wrapped everything very professionally, and took their time moving it all. They were all very friendly and accommodating. One the negative side, a few of our pieces ended up dented (SS fridge) or mussed up (dresser handles). I didn't even mention these finds when I noticed, as I had brought up some other issues, and was quickly disregarded as not being their fault. They also put several dings and scratches in our walls and doorways (did I mention BRAND new House?). Also, upon the last leg of their move, they opted to go deeper into our already overstuffed driveway (thanks PODs), and took out several feet of freshly laid sod. Kenny was kind enough to return a few days later with a shovel to fix the yard issue, but I still need to bust out my sander and paint to get the deep scratches out of my door jams and on my bannisters. All things considered, I'm sure we would have made similar dents and dings in the house had we had moved ourselves. They did well, and got the job done. He was able to come last minute and he worked with me like no mover i ever knew. his price was right and very reasonable! he called uhaul moving and storage, got me a storage, and due to circumstances beyond my control, i had Uhaul trying to charge me extra fees and Kenny was able to get Gods grace from them. they got me everything i wanted all thanks to kennys communication skills and Kennys obvious biblical approach over the phone! working with Kenny and his partner Tyler was smooth and i couldnt ask for better movers! i will call him again and again! ask Kenny for me as a reference! read more

I would only recommend Kenny for local moves (within the same city) and nothing else. I used him to empty a storage unit and he and his crew were great. Then a few months later, I asked him to help me with a move to another state and that was a BIG mistake. He couldn't afford the U-Haul truck and gave me a song and dance about how lucky I should feel that another one of his clients could pay for it "for me"in a credit card. This was the first in a string of bad events. This was after I had given him $2500 in cash for payment for his services for the move. When packing up the truck (and it wasn't the truck he promised, it was a smaller truck and some kind of hitch), he and his crew broke the glass top of a table which he promised to pay for, and he never did. Kenny then left to do another job, while his 2 other guys continued packing my items. When it came time to pack up a specialty chair I had, I gave them the instructions on how to handle the chair, and told them they needed tools to take the chair apart. They didn't even look at the instructions. Kenny had taken the tools and my tools were already packed. No surprise, my chair was damaged and when it needed repair Kenny refused to even discuss any reimbursement for this. They arrived to my new home before me, around noon, and spent the time sightseeing even though I had made arrangements for them to enter the home early. I arrived 6 hours later to find that they had just started unpacking the truck. I found that many of my boxes were damaged and there were damaged items that were just irreplaceable. When I reached out to Kenny to discuss reimbursement for what could be replaced and repaired, he simply made excuses. I tried to use the BBB and he lied to them saying that the damages were paid for and called them "a mafia... an organization that seeks peoples money to cover up complaints like these, and than its members can proudly claim BBB accredited.....scandal." I would just say, be cautious when you use him. I wouldn't use him to move anything of major value. He wouldn't show me his coverage with U-Haul and then said I should just know what it covers. Just finished moving with Kenny and his crew. Im writing this review before I forget to do it with all crazy moving things. Anyway, This is my second time working with Kenny and Im very satisfied with his service for both of time. Also the price is very reasonable.(which is BIG PLUS! ;)) He is very friendly, on time on site, works hard. He put ths stablizers on my washer before moving it. Im leaving some of my stuff to the storage, in Killeen and moving to D.C. soon but Ill need to move those stuff to D.C. from Killeen at some point and Ill def contact Kenny again for that. He said he is moving one of his customer to CA this week so I believe that he goes everywhere from TX...? I guess Kenny should have had more reviews for his service but I guess ppl dont know where to leave the comment/review. I wish my review could help him and customers who need movers. We used Kenny to move us locally in June of 2016. We were very satisfied by his professionalism and his fair pricing. He will come by to give you an estimate. That is the price you will pay. There are no surprise up charges after the fact. We moved from Temple to San Antonio on December 1st. As soon as I had the move in date, I booked Kenny ASAP. This was a stressful move for us. The day before the move, my mother in law suddenly passed and my husband had to take care of the funeral arrangements in Temple and was not able to help me with this move. My daughter hired -"Kenny's Got a Truck" August 2018. Kenny had (2) men helping him move some furniture at the time and Kenny talked not stop bragging on him/his company and what the a fabulous job he does the entire time they were there loading furniture. Was quite annoying after awhile. Well, we all get to the storage unit -Kenny and his (2) helpers start unloading the furniture, upright freezer, a (Brand new) Frigidaire Gallery Series side by side stainless steel refrigerator that was just bought July 2018) from Lowe's. My daughter and I are watching them when all of a sudden my daughter sees the solid wood pedestal dining table that Kenny and his men placed upside down on top of a box come falling down and hit the front of the Brand new refrigerator. That incident caused 4 large dents in the front of the refrigerator on the right door. The impact fall of the dining table into the refrigerator also caused the (square board) that attache to the pedestal base where the table top attaches to to break. So Kenny say's he's not sure how that happened, hmmm. Then my daughter asks Kenny what did he, or his 2 men put a dvd/vcr player and a cable box that was on the entertainment center that they wrapped, packed) he proceeded to ask his 2 men, kenny said they don't pack those items. Again, I know they were left on the entertainment center and their the ones that did something with item's. We still can't find them. Finally, "Kenny's Got A Truck" Is finished moving, putting the furniture in the storage unit. Kenny and I discuss the cost of the damage that he caused to the refrigerator, dining table and he tells me that he will need to make monthly payments to me for the cost to have the table pedestal board, right front door replaced with a new one from Lowe's. Which has to be ordered, and the board base will need to be handmade by someone. I tell him no that I will not accept payments on this damage, replacing items. My daughter told him he should file a claim through his Company liability insurance, Kenny tells us that he doesn't carry Business insurance. WHAT the? ?? I tell Kenny that the total cost of the damage will be deducted from the amount that he charged us for moving the furniture etc. Kenny said that he had to pay his help, I understand all this but that's not my problem. I told Kenny that he'd have to take care of that issue himself. So by the end of the scenario, we deducted the cost for the damage and paid him the remaining balance due to him. Kenny did get someone to make the table base for my daughter (no charge to her). But Kenny nor his workers knew what happened to the cable box which had to be turned back in, or the dvd/vcr player. And from August until today she had to pay monthly to the cable company for the missing cable box. Well, as of today November 23rd, 2018 after my daughter got all of her furniture etc from the storage unit into her house, taking the packing pads, shrink wrap off the entertainment center -there's the cable box that has been missing since August, 2018 sitting where she had left it, but Kenny nor his helpers seemed to know anything about it. She still hasn't found the dvd/vcr player. Hopefully it'll show up. I, nor my daughter would recommend hiring -"Kenny's Got A Truck" to help you move anything. And foremost, who owns/operates a business without having liability insurance!!!! I wish I could post the picture my daughter took when she unwrapped the entertainment center of the cable box on the shelf of the entertainment center exactly how "Kenny's Got A Truck" employees packed it, but it won't let me post the picture.
