I can't remember the lady's name that seems to run the place but she's great. They've helped me out a bunch of times with different payment types, rush orders, complicated orders. I told them I would like to do a small order of hats to make sure I like the quality and they way they do business and then we can take it from there. When I told them what I wanted to be done, I they presented themselves as uneducated in the field. When I was asking them questions assuming they were experts I was getting answers back like, "I don't know" or "I am not really sure" when I was looking for assurance. They told me it would be around two weeks before my order would be done (8 items) which seems abnormally long but I decided to just go with it what could go wrong. That was my biggest mistake. Upon walking out I had a discomfort that I even expressed to others that were close to me that I did know how well this was going to go. Fast forward to a week an a half later, I get a call from the shirt shack saying they can not do my order because my text would not work with their machines claiming this if the first time this has ever happened. I didn't give them a super elaborate logo, just two words in a certain text. I went down to shirt shack to pick up my jacket that was going to get embroidered as well as the hats and also receive a refund for the order for the upfront payment I made on hats and the service. APPARENTLY they can not give me a refund because they already ordered the hats yet at the same time they are not able to deliver. After a couple minutes of pointless arguing I decided that I will just take it up with the credit card company. What a hassle this has been, I wish I would have never gotten involved with the Shirt Shack. Lucky enough when expressing all this to a friend, I was refereed to a place that will do shirts, sweatshirts, and embroidery for me at about half the price, so at least some good came out of it. I'd just play it safe and stay away, find another place that cares for your business because there are plenty out there.

The owner assured me that even though they are not in Moscow or Pullman, they were only a couple of miles away. I decided to give them a try. She did 21 BEAUTIFUL long-stemmed roses in an amazing vase, delivered to her house. They were very fresh and thoughtfully arranged. I would definitely use them again for delivery to U of I anytime!

Cool Pawn Shop small but full of treasure…read more was waiting for a Gyro so wandered in to the Pawn shop and looked around, I was in the market for a new Digital Camera, and I saw they had one by Fuji so I checked out that model on line, and it is a couple years old but was running around $120 for a refurbished one, so I was like OK if I can get it for $60 I'm ahead, it was marked 70 but he said give me cash and its yours for 60 plus the governors fee, OK I'm getting it for the price I wanted to pay and don't even have to dicker with him so he hands me the camera to look at and he wanders off to eat his lunch, must be that its a small town that would never happen in Seattle, but what the heck, so after checking it out for a few minutes or so, I told him I would be right back needed to walk over to the bank and get some cash Just got back from Las Vegas and the Camera took some awesome pictures I am totally happy I got it

I called Howard Hughes service department yesterday because our washing machine -- a brand they…read morecarry -- just started leaking rather badly so I inquired about a repair. The man I spoke with very rudely told me they don't do repairs if they didn't sell the appliance to the customer (the machine came with the house, we have no idea where it came from). He didn't bother to ask me what the problem was or suggest that we might need a replacement which could have helped him make a sale. We made some inquiries and brought in a plumber who determined the machine indeed needs to be replaced. Which we will do right away -- from a competitor down in Lewiston. And we decided to buy a matching dryer, too. Sorry, Howard Hughes, you just lost a sale because of your service rep. So much for trying to support local businesses.

Sport Town is located in the Palouse Mall and they are almost toward the end of the mall, next to Rite-Aid and you gotta go past Old Navy to know they are there. When you pass by the store, the display on their window might not make one think it's a Sporting goods--They very much are a sports store. Perhaps, the owner can rev up the window display to let people know you are a Sport store!! As you enter the store to the left, they have plenty of selections for running shoes and I am certain they have other shoes for other sport purposes that I have not seen just yet. They have plenty of quality sports apparel, sports hats, and plenty more. I would encourage you to check out this place if you have not already. The real gem of Sport town is Rachel and you gotta see Rachel!! My boyfriend and I went in looking for some running shoes for him. We know very little about running shoes and running in general. Rachel was a wealth of information. From the time we walked in to the store, Rachel showed interest and enthusiasm in helping my boyfriend. One of the first things I noticed was her listening skills, after she gathered information, she had my boyfriend walk a few steps, to the end of the store hall, to learn how he walks. She asked about injuries and concerns he has about his feet, and she took the time to learn about what he needs and not just sell us shoes, she really serviced us. She spent probably close to an hour with us. Initially, we were going to order the shoes she recommend online but after that amazing customer service, how can we not buy it from her and I am glad we did!! What was most impressive to me was the quality of customer service Rachel provided and her product knowledge. We also came in with some knowledge about running shoes, However, Rachel gave us a lot more information and her expertise on the shoes and the running sport in general, and it made sense as to why she recommended one shoe over another. She did not push the sale on us, she even encouraged us to think about it first before purchasing the running shoes as she realizes it was an investment. We didn't have to think about it, regardless of the price, what mattered to my boyfriend and me is how Rachel treated us. We purchased the running shoes from Rachel and forget buying online. Someday when I need a quality sport shoes, I will personally ask for Rachel. The owner of this store needs to know that Rachel is a value team member for Sport Town.
