First time strawberry picking with the family. My kids had a blast. Made our reservation ahead of time for the morning to avoid the crowds. There's a porking lot with loose dirt. You check it and the booth to pick up your container. They have 3 different sizes. The largest container is $22. When we got inside I was surprised to see that they have a pretty big field. There were more than enough strawberries for everyone. It is a farm so be prepared to get dirty. There are dirt walkways and there is a bit of an incline to get to the far back. If you're using strollers, walkers, wheelchairs or just have a difficult time going uphill beware! The isles are very narrow so trying to pass someone is a little challenging. Finding the big strawberries was a fun little challenge for the kids. It was a fun morning! They say it's ok to taste test while you're picking too so the kids definitely took advantage of that. On the way out there are some stands that sell fruit, food, and strawberry lemonade. There are also several picnic tables to sit and enjoy the great weather and eat. Wish this place was closer to Los Angeles, but I'd definitely come back in the future with the kids. read more

What an awesome find! Saw this from my friend posting on Facebook about this place. They provide buckets for you to pick your own strawberries and they weigh it based on the strawberries only which is nice! After you are done picking all the strawberries you like, they transfer them to a plastic package for you. I initially had concerns how this would work whether we needed to bring our own buckets or not and how they would charge the strawberries but it was all very seamless and honest which is what I like. I think we went a little earlier in the season so some were sweet but some were not as sweet. Hopefully will come later in the season for all the strawberries to be super sweet! They have a nice picnic area and washing station for you to eat some of the freshly picked strawberries. Definitely a nice place to take kids to. read more

Before you go just understand that they make you pick your own berries. I saw a lot of people there make Kenny pay for making them do the farming for him by stacking an absolute truck load of strawberries above the rim of the bucket. If these folks weren't leaving with $40 worth of berries in a $20 bucket then my internal estimator needs calibrating. We didn't see Kenny there; but if he was there I bet he'd look begrudgingly at some of these buckets and mumble "rules are rules" under his breath so that the kids couldn't hear him. read more

Dress accordingly. Everything was great, except the port a potties. They are disgusting, so prepare for that and take wipes, water, etc. Other that, the strawberries are the best you'll ever have. My daughter has been wanted to go strawberry picking again since we went at the start of the season. We decided to make reservations to the fields on a late Friday afternoon. To our surprise it was a hot day and the fields decided to send an email to us letting us know whether we still wanted to keep our reservations due to the weather. Because we had been looking forward to picking we decided to keep our reservations. That is what I appreciated about Kenny's. They were very communicative regarding its farm and stands. It took us almost an hour to trek up the 15 on a late Friday afternoon but as soon as we got there, there were only 2 other cars and families. We pretty much had the entire fields to ourself. The farm is super cute and lots of space to roam especially for the kids. You pick the size of your container and you start picking your strawberries. At the time, the heat took a lot of the strawberries but we were there for the fun. The ladies working the booth were super nice and helpful in our questions. We truly enjoyed our visit. Super mellow and the strawberries are sweet. The kids enjoyed picking and we will make this place our annual Spring visit. read more

This was such a nice strawberry farm! I'm so glad we came here compared to the Carlsbad farm. My daughter really enjoyed picking strawberries. Instead of paying for a bucket, you pay per pound for the exact amount of strawberries you picked. It was $4/lb. They have some outdoor shaded picnic tables and a strawberry rinse station so you can enjoy after picking. There is a little stand that sells strawberry related drinks and snacks (lemonade, kabobs, cake, milkshakes, etc). We were at Kenny's Strawberry Farm for their pumpkin patch! I was sold when I saw the package they had for kids this year. It was $20 for a take home craft, small pumpkin, petting zoo, 2 bounce house areas, and tractor rides. Our daughter could have spent the entire day with the tiny pigs and baby goats in the petting zoo. They were so cute! I do wish the staff would monitor the kids a little better so the animals are less stressed. The large strawberry bounce pad is so cool!! We all had fun running and bouncing on it. We went on Saturday around 1030. On the website it says reservations required but no one has ever asked us about our reservation. There's a check in station where you pick your container size small or large and then off you go to pick. It costs $20 for the large and there is a small sign that says you'll be charged extra if you overfill (we didn't realize this and were charged 2 dollars extra). We did end up with almost six pounds of strawberries for $22. It wasn't too crowded and has lots of red strawberries to pick, we had a whole row to ourselves. They have a lot of picnic tables to enjoy your strawberries/food (a lot of people packed picnics and were eating lunch). There are also a few tractors for kids to climb on and play on. And a few picture taking opportunities like a big chair with Kenny on it or a strawberry stand. Food: Strawberries are juicy but not that sweet (some are actually sour even though they were red). Strawberry ice bar and lemonade were pretty good, wish there were more strawberries in the strawberry shortcake. Parking: Dirt parking lot, lots of spaces still when we went. Bathrooms: They only have port a pottys in the parking lot. They have hand washing/berry washing stations in the eating area but no soap. Tips: There's no shade when picking so go on a cooler day and bring a hat/sunscreen. We visited the farm a few weeks ago and enjoyed our visit. Prior to coming, we signed up for a reservation, which helps ensures a steady flow rather than a deluge of patrons. Upon arriving, we were given basic instructions and provided containers to place our strawberries in. The strawberry fields were spacious and covid safe. Besides the farm, there is also a stand selling jams, cartons of strawberries, and other treats to take home. Took my daughter for our first visit. She had fun with her bff. Located right off the 15 fwy on Old Hwy 395. She loves fruits so we had to try this place out. For $15, you get a bucket that holds about 4 lbs. of berries. After looking at some pics on ig and yelp, it didn't look that big to me, but it is definitely worth the price! As we walked down the rows, there were so many bright red, pretty strawberries to pick from. Space yourselves out and you should not have a problem picking during covid19. They even have huge onions you can buy, 2 for $5! I didn't get any but my friend did. Forgot to take a pic of them too :( You pick your berries first and then you pay for them afterwards. It took about an hour, but it was nice and breezy. I like going right before they close so we got there at 4 and people were starting to leave. What a good way to spend time with your littles! There are a lot of strawberry fields and there were so many strawberries to choose from that we filled up our bucket in maybe 30-45 minutes. The strawberries were delicious and the bucket was a perfect amount. When we went they allowed us to get as many strawberries that filled up the bucket, even if it was overflowing, so definitely worth the price. They also have onions that you can pick at the end of the fields, which are huge, so I didn't pick any, but a great option if you like onions. It was pretty crowded here with families, especially since there is the open picnic table area, so a little bit harder to do social distancing and not much people wore masks, but the employees were great and the field had an abundance of delicious strawberries. This is such a great place to pick strawberries!!! The farm is huge!!!! It has strawberries, blackberries and onions!!! When you drive in, you park on the side, and walking up to the farm you see the stand to get your bucket for picking. You can also get the container for blackberries there. Most of the fields are strawberries and across from The strawberries are the fields with onions. I have never picked onions before, and it was so fun! You get to rip them right out of the ground!!!! It can get a little dirty with mud flying as you pull but it's so worth it! The strawberries are really easy to pick and find!! We filled our bucket to the top pretty quickly. It's really fun to walk around and see all those red strawberries!!! They look like they are out of a picture!! And wow!! Are they sweet and delicious!! The blackberries grow on bushes and are on a smaller patch of land up front, behind the strawberries. They are also really easy to pick and so juicy!!! This is a wonderful place to come on a date or for a family day! But bring sunblock! It gets hot in the fields!! Trying to give my son the "hands on" experience as to where fruit comes from and how it is gathered, we drove here yesterday for a strawberry-picking session. They sent an email the night before advising that the severe heat had wilted some of the fruit, and offered us other dates, but we decided to make the trek anyway. Strangely, even though they insist that you make a reservation online, no one bothers to ask if you have one or check a "master list," making the entire process cumbersome and pointless. No one answers their phone, and the mailbox is always full, so you can never call for information. Nevertheless, we had a good time. We were able to find ripe strawberries fairly quickly. Even though the sign says that they weigh them, this is also contrary to current practice - there are two bucket sizes, small and large, $8 and $16, respectively. Shoutout to the girl at the check-out stand (long, curly blond hair in a ponytail, blue eyes, thin, no glasses) who apparently thought I was giving her a $4 tip when I paid. "My change?" I inquired. "What?" she replied, rather disdainfully. "I gave you a $20. I'm owed $4 back." "Oh, here," she said dismissively, handing me the money without even making eye contact. Charming. Probably 90% of the people we saw ended up on a Lemon farm road just pass Kenny's Strawberry Farm. The directions to get here are as follows: From Temecula, 15 Fwy South, get off on Rainbow Valley (where the CHP Truck stop is) go over the bridge to Old Hwy 395, turn South about a mile to Rainbow Glen, make a left to Rainbow Valley Blvd, make a right and follow until you get to the farm. Strawberry farm: Had a great time. Grand Kids had a blast picking their own bucket of strawberries. Price: $8 small, holds about 20 strawberries, $20 large holds double that depending on how big the strawberrys are. (Remember, if you over fill it, you will get charged. Restrooms: one word, YUCKY! bring baby wipes and plug your nose. They do have a wash station but bring your own cleaning supplies for peace of mind. The whole experience was easy about an hour plus. We go to Kenny's Wildomar location once a week to get strawberries. Last Saturday on April 2nd, the berries inside the box were rotten and in bad shape. Possibly because they didn't open for many days due to weather. I've paid $44 for it and half gone to waste. It's bad.... Kenny's should not pack up rotten, OLD, spoiled fruits. Very disappointed. They have some outdoor picnic tables to sit and enjoy your bounty or any of the snacks from the food truck. I loved that everything was outdoors and well spaced. I've been to other u-pick farms and they feel crowded and there are places things kind of bottle neck- but not here! There was ample space and they staff was very encouraging of safety measures. The strawberries were nice and sweet. We ended up getting two $30 buckets. It was a lot of bending over and picking them but was quite an experience. There were a section of black berries but not much black berries. We ended up taking some nice photos at the big chair that fits 3 people. Over there was also the picnic area. I love this strawberry farm! The strawberries here are AMAZING! They're juicy and sweet. I took my kids here and they had a BLAST picking strawberries. Basically, you select a basket and pick as many strawberries as you want. The smaller baskets on average run about $6-10. The medium one is about $15 and the larger one is $20. Be prepared to spend around $20-$30. But it's worth every penny. I'm told it's not an ''organic'' farm but they don't spray if they don't have to. The grounds are well kept. There's a seating area with umbrellas too if you want to eat your freshly picked berries. They also sell strawberry jam, bags and also some cute hair bows for babies/toddlers. They said strawberries will go until July! Parking isn't a problem but it's just a dirt lot in front of the farm. Also, there's no bathroom here except porta-potties. This is literally the BEST strawberry you will get to eat in your life. We went yesterday to pick. After stuck in house during this pandemic, we went there as we thought the open space will give us enough social distancing and also fresh air. We were not wrong. The field was so large that we always had a lot of distance with other families while picking the strawberries. The entire location is stunning. We also picked Blackberries. There were almost 90% of fruits which were perfect and had flawless looking. There were picnic tables, gave us enough distance to have our lunch (which we brought) as well. Ok, if these are not enough for 5 stars, the taste of strawberries and blackberries were out of the world. We have never had such a tasty strawberries and blackberries in our life.
