Filed a complaint with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation. I'm not the first to do so. He is not a real estate agent, but practices it listing rental properties. He profiles you before he will show you the property. He asks you personal information so he can google you before he shows you the property and if you don't play his game he makes up lies and refuses to show the property. Do not do business with this man as a tenant, property owner, or contractor. He is a thief, scammer, and a liar. We have had to keep a lawyer on retainer for our entire lease period to protect ourselves from his bullying and disregard for maintenance and safety issues. He threatened to evict us and terminate our lease 4 times for maintenance requests and rat and termite infestations. He will also do everything possible to keep your security deposit for no valid reasons. He was sued for it and lost the case. The few times he did actually fix things after begging and pleading, he doesn't pay the contractors for their work. Multiple vendors have called me asking for payment because Brian ghosts them. The plumber actually said that when he called Brian for payment, Brian replied "He no longer works here." Dont make the same mistake as we did. Stay far away from this guy. He seems nice yet socially awkward at first but then he flips a switch and it's 'his way or the highway.' Extremely aggressive and unreasonable. Check out other reviews on him on this site and others. He kept a deposit because someone did not make their bed, multiple complaints of forced entry, stolen deposits, on and on. Here are all of the issues we have had since move in less than a year ago: the home had dead bugs, cobwebs, mold in vents, broken shower (knob was pushed in and had hole in the wall that allowed water to go in the walls), dirty and sticky cabinets, mold and hair in the shower, dryer would not dry (the dryer vent was so clogged that the first tech couldn't unclog it) rat infestation in the attic for 3 months (it was so bad that the rats ate the air ducts causing the home not to cool) 1 month termite infestation twice washing machine broke microwave broke mold and filth in the air handler dryer broke half the lights in home burnt out most kitchen outlets not working toilet constantly running broken blinds in both bedrooms all floors dirty strong toxic smell dirty toilets light switches loose and sometimes worked security alarm beeping thermostat dead expired fire extinguisher mold/water damage in cabinets no gasket cover on garbage disposal broken garage door his wife, Shannon, would come over with him and google how to fix electrical items and fix them Brian and Shannon yelled and fought with each other when they came over Stay far far away! read more

Let me start with this... this man is NOT licensed and working as a landlord ILLEGALLY. After my nightmarish experience living at his property, I ended up taking him to court and wont back every penny of my deposit even though he tried to keep every penny. This guy comes off as a quiet, nerdy, nice well-to-do guy but that's a total façade. The moment he had my signature on the property contract he changed like Jekyll and Hyde. I'm cracking up at these reviews. Any one that has lived at one of Ken's properties knows he's a dirt bag and a scam artist that will steal every dime he can from you. Funny how the good reviews just say "he's great" where the negative reviews give actual details. He left me (a single father), my daughter and my dog in his rental apt for 2 months with a broken AC in the FL summer. His properties has MAJOR bug infestations. Broken, outlets, appliances, tiles, fixtures, but then will try to blame you and deduct from your deposit. Avoid all business with this crook and his father. Again..... he is NOT licensed. I have worked with Ken's Corporate Housing for over 5 years. They have done an excellent job in managing my rental condo. The rental unit has never been empty and Ken has been able to get me top dollars for monthly rental income. He has done an excellent job of servicing the tenants --repairing anything that needs repairs 24 hours a day. This keeps the tenants happy and the rental unit in great shape. read more

If I could put no stars I would. Brian or Ken (it's weird he goes by both) is the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. - He entered the apartment without notifying myself or the other tenant. We found this out because he sent us a video from him walking the apartment while bashing the dirty condition of the apt. We still had a week on our lease and were waiting until l items were out to hire cleaning services. -cancelled move out walk through and then did above mentioned video walk through. - refused to communicate through phone call and would only respond via text messages. - brought who he referred to as "the owner's representative" to the rescheduled walk through (after canceling the first on 5 minutes prior to). We later found out " the owner's representative was his wife. If you want to see the creepy ( he picks up a clump of my hair. Seriously. Not joking) video of him going through our apartment without our knowledge search "Madison soho dirty condo". Not to mention he posted this while we were still leasing and gave out the address multiple times while basing his tenants. His properties are in a good location, but take my advice and save yourself a headache. Do not avoid that creeped out feeling you get when meeting him. read more

BEWARE. Air Conditioning failed 5 times during 7 month lease. You will endure many hot nights while you wait for repairs to 20+ year old equipment and Ken makes absurd suggestions on how you can fix the problem. CLAIMS WILL BE MADE AGAINST YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT for things that were broken or not working before you moved in. The attached speaks for itself. Charges for electrical switches in the wall? Internal toilet parts that were worn out and old? KCH Inc. is a class action lawsuit waiting to happen. read more

I rented a place in SoHo from Ken and am very happy with everything. The washing machine was broken when I moved in but Ken got a new one purchased, delivered, and installed within a couple of days. He's always quick to respond whenever I bring up any questions or issues. read more

Our family is very happy with Ken's Corporate Housing services. The property manager Ken (Brian) has done great job.

We have been renting from Ken's Corporate Housing for four years and love our condo and the complex! When we first moved in, the dishwasher broke but a new one was sent in a timely manner. Last September we contacted Ken in regards to our condo needing new paint on the walls due to normal wear and tear and we were able to work that out very quickly. I've lived in 10 different apartment complexes in the last 15 years and this was the absolute worst! Ken, Brian, Krian.... Whatever he goes by is the worst landlord I have ever had. After promising to refund my security deposit when I moved out of state he completely went dark on me. He would not answer calls,texts, or emails. He is completely unprofessional and rude. I requested more information from his website as an owner interested in leasing my property through him. When I asked questions about the cost for his services, he avoided them - and when he finally gave those details was vague on what the fees really were. I was interested in short term rentals and he continued to persist on a one year lease, despite me being adamant that was not what I wanted to do with my property. I tried multiple times to get off the phone and thank him for his time and he continued to get rude. Based on reviews of tenants I am glad I have decided to list with someone else - I wouldn't want this guy anywhere near my property. read more

We had an overall positive experience with Ken's Corporate Housing. This business is one of the few businesses that offers reasonable short-term furnished housing in the Tampa area. Ken was punctual, pleasant and very business-like in his approach. The apartment we leased was located in an excellent area, safe, within walking distance of several restaurants, gym and walking areas. There was a reserved parking spot a short walk from the apartment in a secured parking garage. The previous tenant had a cat and the unit was not completely clean with some residual cat hair and cat damage. Ken took care to purchase missing items such as an air filter and light bulbs and functional microwave during the first day of check-in. We were able to get internet and cable within a few days. We documented the condition of the apartment when we moved in and expect to receive our full deposit when we leave. I would use Ken's Corporate Housing again. read more

I've been renting from Ken's for about 2 1/2 years and never had a problem. Everytime that I needed work in my unit, it was promptly and professionally provided. The community I live in has been great and i love the location. I've even recommended Ken's to a couple of friends. I am a little concerned about moving out because some wear and tear problems with things such as paint and appliances but I'm trusting that it will all turn out reasoably.........we will wait to see. read more

DO NOT rent from this individual!! No personal skills, does not respond to issues in a timely manner. Payments are made via website, which does not properly work and if you do not follow up, convenient reminder is made after grace period, with full financial penalties enforced via threatening language, regardless of past perfect payment history. These properties can be found via other listings, thru other individuals/companies, don't waste your time. AND PLEASE BE ADVISED, that great references as you may see here and other sites, are paid for via partial security deposit returns made in advance of lease maturity. read more
