They should be changing the trays in the hot bar every few hours to maintain the fresh look and they should get rid of the old burned food. They also serve the same soup everyday. It's never fresh after 2 pm. They also used to have some nice potato soup and they stopped serving it. It's the sane few soups everyday. I just don't think the people that work in that department are happy to be there. I got screamed at one day when I asked when a fresh chicken will be out and he told that there are still chicken out there with anger when there was only two pieces of dry chicken setting there. Terrible way to talk to customers. I am hoping they can do something about the hot food bar and soup selections soon.

Have been stopping by this location more recently on the way home from work to pick up a few things. While I have only walked to the store, they do have free parking in the building garage. The store is on the smaller side compared to other Eastside PCC locations. Store interior feels a bit sterile and usually quiet when I shop here. Not a bad thing if you like shopping in a less crowded store. And I will say the store interior is an improvement from the old store which looked dated. It is not my favorite PCC to shop at, but I will continue to frequent it when I am nearby and looking to pick up some groceries.

Mercer Island is a place I don't make a habit of visiting and this stop reminded me why. My brother used to live here, but that was 30 years ago. Pulling into the parking lot, everybody was acting like their car was priceless and you needed to give them space. If it takes you 45 seconds to back into a space everyone else is pulling into, you will catch my horn. It was a sunny day, but the real reason you needed sunglasses was to reduce the glare of the oversized ultraclear diamonds. I'll be blunt, I can't afford to live here, but it doesn't mean I can't shop there and truth be told. My car is just as nice or nicer than MI residents, I just never felt a need to live in financial isolation. We'll come back to the car. Almost everything you see here is 30% higher than a regular store, the only advantage to shopping her in my opinion is selection. You will find brands and items not normally found at Safeway or Fred Meyer, but I also saw sliced salami for nearly $24 a pound. You also see a lack of items on sale here which again, just reduces the overall value. I had people bumping into me, nudging me to get to items in front of me like I didn't matter and no one said excuse me or thank you for me yielding when they were clearly in the wrong. At one point, I literally had an employee apologize to me. He witnessed residents being entitled and rude to me and it was clear that was not the environment the store wanted to foster. My cashier was really nice, when I asked about her day, I think she quickly knew, I was not a local. Her face lit up and it was clear, she just wanted to be recognized. In the parking lot, I encountered a retired couple who had cut in front of me multiple times. They looked scared like I was there for payback. When I walked around there car the wife got worried, then I heard her tell her husband, "That's his car" next to their. As it turns out. We drive the exact same car, just difference colors. Matter of fact, I have 2 of them. I'm old school and last time I was here, this place was Albertson's Matter of fact, my childhood neighbor was the Store Director. . Last time I got so much attitude, I was in Medina. I'm happy for your success, but don't turn public places into uncomfortable atmosphere. It probably doesn't help that prices here are so unreasonable that people feel an obligation to act like idiots because they can afford to shop here weekly. The irony, I have shopped QFC on the south end and it feels like any other grocery store.

This store is perfect to stop in to for everyone living in the area. Not only is it super cute outside and in abut they have an amazing selection of beer. The whole decor is a mix of modern and very old timey rustic. Its incredibly clean inside too. I also loved the candy selection. Thankfully I didn't bring my kids with me because they would have been all over the little glass jars holding all the fun goodies. The service is also very friendly. If you miss it, it is difficult to turn around again to enter, as the traffic here is famously bad. We rarely go to this Costco, so we end up missing this turn sometimes. If you plan to shop and to get gas, it is better to get gas first then shop. The exit after getting gas allows you to enter Costco parking lot to shop or to exit out to the road. Do pay attention to where the adjacent cars are going. Other than being difficult to find, the gas prices and service are same as any other Costco gas. We try to avoid this one in general simply because this location is busier than others, especially during the weekend.
