Today, he asked me if I would like to transfer my business to another pharmacy because once again they failed to have my inventory in stock after a week's notice, per their request. After reassuring me that my partial refill was ready to go, I sent someone on a twenty-minute round-trip ferry and thirty-minute round-trip car ride to pick up a prescription only to find out that he voided my husband's life-saving medication because he didn't care for my attitude. That was after trying to bill the insurance that has been cancelled for months, even though my new insurance has been on file ever since. Very poor customer service and standard of care at this particular Walmart pharmacy. After years of loyalty, I won't be returning. I will go across the street to Walgreens from now on, where they will always have my prescriptions in inventory on time. During the snow storm I placed a pick up order at the Walmart in Petoskey. I just moved here the…read moreday before and had no groceries. I did not realize how bad it was outside and had already placed a pick up order otherwise I would have just gone in myself. I believe the pickup attendant that assisted that day was named Al. He did an awesome job handing all the pick up orders by himself (there were many cars in the pick up area). Al literally climbed through mounds of snow dragging the cart through and withstanding the crazy winds. Not once did he complain. He was very polite and kind given the circumstances and being short staffed. Al deserves a raise, additional PTO, and recognition. I wish I had cash for him at the time!
