I would strongly recommend avoiding Blaise Alexander in Altoona if you're shopping for a vehicle. I purchased a car from them, and the very next day it started throwing multiple codes. Instead of handling the situation professionally, they've fought me every step of the way. After I left an honest Google review about my experience, I received a phone call asking me to remove it, with promises that they would "make things right." That never happened. In fact, things only got worse from there. While shopping for the vehicle, I had mentioned that I was interested in possibly working at a dealership someday. After they saw my negative review, they suddenly called me in for what I believed was a job interview. It quickly became obvious it was not a real interview at all -- it felt more like an attempt to intimidate or scold me over my review. Very little was discussed about employment, and most of the conversation focused on my complaints and online review. Using scare tactics against a customer over a review feels extremely sketchy and unprofessional. To make matters worse, when they told me to bring the car in for service, they admitted they had no Kia knowledge, no Kia diagnostic tools, and no proper equipment to even work on the vehicle. So why have me drop the car off in the first place? They ended up sending me across the road to Kia instead. Honestly, I'd recommend the Kia dealership over Blaise Alexander any day. The entire experience has felt shady from start to finish. When I expressed frustration over buying a vehicle that immediately had issues, I was met with attitude and backtalk instead of customer service. Damien, the salesperson who sold me the car, actually cussed at me multiple times on the sales floor in front of managers -- and it's all on camera. During the sale, he constantly talked badly about his own managers and dealership, saying things like "these guys know nothing" and telling me not to accept certain offers. At the time I thought he was being honest with me, but once problems started happening with the car, the entire attitude changed. They repeatedly threw it in my face that they "lost money" on the sale and acted like that somehow excused refusing to help me. That is not my problem as a customer. If you sell reliable vehicles, situations like this don't happen. I spent a large amount of money on a vehicle and expected basic reliability and customer service. Instead, I was treated like a problem for speaking up about legitimate concerns. Buyers beware -- this dealership does not stand behind the vehicles they sell, and in my experience, they use intimidation tactics when customers speak out. At this point someone higher than the local branch management needs to reach out to me! They also fake reviews BEWARE!!

I took it in to be checked and was told I needed a new alternator and battery and that I was responsible to pay half of the repair cost. They advised it was a 1,200 and I owed 600. Since they had lied to begin with I did not trust them. Took it to my local trusted mechanic who told me I did not need a new alternator nor a new battery and the battery just needed a charge. In addition, they said the repair would have run around 500 to 600 not 1200. I would nit recommend them at all as they are not trustworthy!
