I Kent put into words how nice this place was! It's a really cute furniture store way down in Florida which we stopped in because I was traveling with somebody that likes furniture stores - I do not at all. I was actually impressed by this one. Good prices and great selection and a huge space and really friendly people inside too. We ended up spending about 10 minutes here and probably won't make it a habit of coming to furniture stores - unless we're with that particular girl, who is crazy about them. But I doubt there are many furniture stores as excellent and locally owned as this one. read more

Friendly staff that don't stalk. Beautiful furniture and displays with varied price points. Some is a little pricey -but you also have to consider the quality. This is real wood. 5 stars is just NOT enough for the exceptional customer service and treatment I received at Kents Furniture in Belleview Florida. Not only is their showroom HUGE with all your home and acessory needs BUT their sales team is tip top. I purchased a leather couch and loveseat and took delivery some 5 weeks ago, one of the reclining chairs on the loveseat was defected. I contacted Nan, my sales rep who is AWESOME, emailed her pics and she had the recliner replaced within the week.. Unfortunuty the same problem happened again. (Manufactured design issue) Without hestation Nan reached out to the manager and owner and I was told to come in and pick out whatever I wanted as they where giving me a full credit toward a new set. I was beyond delighted and shocked, being from New York I would NOT have had such an amazing and expeditous response.. In the last 2 1/2 years, we have bought two leather love seats, a leather recliner and one leather couch. We were happy with the price and the service we received from Kent furniture. We had a problem with the couch seat bottom cushions failing after two years of use. Kent went to bat for us and replaced the seat cushions for a small labor charge, they warrantied the parts. In one word - INCREDIBLE! We learned about Kent Furniture from The Hawkins Village FaceBook Page. Someone said to ask for Stephanie. So, we arrived but did not even need to ask because she greeted us at the door. Stephanie was professional and efficient, allowing us to look around, came back for our feedback, and promptly returned with a quote in writing and expected delivery date for all the pieces we selected. We did go to City furniture and purchased a floor model chaise sofa from Hank. We also visited Family Furniture but were turned off by Tammy who followed us around and did not listen to our needs. They sold the same bedroom set our daughter selected for $1000 more than Kent w/a delivery timeline of 10 weeks. So, we raced back to Kent Furniture and once again Stephanie provided exceptional customer service. Just before 4pm as our transaction was being finalized, our son who is in Army basic training called. Both Stephanie and Kent assured us they would stay open as long as necessary so we could speak to our son privately and finished our sales transaction after. Words cannot begin to express our sincere gratitude for this empathy and respect. I noticed the American and Marine Corps flag hanging in the showroom and they explained the owner is a Veteran and they thanked us for our service and our sons. They even gave us a military discount! We received a follow-up call from Kent the next day w/a status update on one piece as promised. The furniture was delivered 3 days later by two very careful and conscientious gentlemen with a follow-up call from Stephanie to ensure our satisfaction. She also emailed a revised version of the bill and sent pictures of options of items of interest we did not find in the showroom. And they are not requiring final payment until the final 2 pieces are delivered. We highly recommend Kent for all your furniture needs! read more

My wife and I have purchased furniture, lamps, and accessories from Kent's several times during the past 3 years. Each time we have found a good selection of merchandise at reasonable prices. One big PLUS, imo, is that they will negotiate price at times for purchases of more than 1 item but not for "small ticket" items. Sales staff has been helpful and cordial every time we've visited, whether we purchase or not. They allow customers to browse without being "tailed" and will answer questions in a helpful way when asked. Whenever we've been looking for a particular style, color, pattern, etc., they have taken us directly to items on display and offered to show catalog items that can be ordered to client's preferences. Delivery is quick compared to other stores in the area, and the delivery staff is pleasant, businesslike and careful with purchased items. We considered this our #2 furniture store in the Leeesburg-Ocala area before The Villages sold their 2 on-site furniture stores to other vendors. Now, Kent's might be our #1, but we're not looking for any furniture or household decorative items right now. read more
