You can use the Bluetooth for the speakers on the boat. There are cushioned seats and a table in the middle which makes it nice for holding drinks. It's fun and you can have multiple people onboard. I plan to do this again! I went with a friend but I definitely want to do this again with a group. Happy this finally came to Baltimore and i think its better pricing than renting a full character.

When I booked the course, I was a little worried that between the low prices and the dated website, maybe this wasn't going to be a stellar experience. I was completely wrong; the course was absolutely top-notch. Capt. Dave's wealth of experience was exactly what we wanted; he's sailed virtually every kind of boat in all kinds of weather all over the world, and that makes for an outstanding resource.

After booking this captain and boat twice last year, we thought we had found a gem; however, we saw…read morehis true colors today. We caught our limit of strippers on ultra light tackle in 3 hours, but at the end of the 3 hours as the last keeper was being brought in by my friend's 21 year old son, the captain (Charlie Bryan) grabbed the line and forced the rod downward (causing it to break) and accused the young man of breaking the weathered and salt-worn rod, adding that he was going to have to "charge him $125 for the broken rod." The young man was noticeably upset and had his day ruined in front of his father, his brother and 3 other men. The captain never once apologized. We spent the remaining 3 hours catching spot (3-5 inches long) and filling the captain's bait barrel with 75-100 spot, which he told us at least 6 times he pays .75c apiece for...(he cried poor mouth about his expenses ALL day.) Then, upon returning to the dock and settling up financially, we STILL paid the $500 trip fee and STILL gave him a $60 tip because we are gracious and decent people . He then insisted several times that he "had to get at least another $50 for the rod," despite telling us earlier that the rod was still under warranty. He refused to meet us even halfway , despite ALREADY being given the $60 tip and he pocketed the other $50 ($610 total) without any hesitation. The young man's father confronted the captain much more politely than I would have if that were my son and he still wouldn't apologize. Don't get me wrong, this is a very knowledgeable and accomplished captain and I don't question his expertise. But his ability to deal with paying customers SUCKS and I dare say if we were a beer-swilling charter, this captain and his shitty broken rod would've gotten a salt water bath (along with more of his belongings) or worse. You don't EVER dress down another man's child, grown or not, particularly in front of other people. I certainly hope the $50 we gave him for his crappy rod was worth it because this cantankerous old man will never see another dime from me or anyone else I know ever again. Don't waste your time with this CLOWN, you'll probably wind up with an assault charge after catching all the bait for his next charter like we did. Never again with CB Charters.
