My primary physician recommended Dr. Gupta. I could have gone to Cleveland, Pittsburgh, or closer to home. I am so glad I listened to my Primary. Dr Gupta listened to me and my symptoms. I made the decision not to stay overnight here because i was scared I'd catch something. If you must come, be sure to bring alcohol wipes to wipe things down or to ask the staff to. 2. They take blood without telling you what they're testing for. They promise to only fill tubes 1/3 of the way, then take full tubes. And the worst: when they finish taking blood, instead for just covering it with gauze, they, without informing you in advance, put in a peripheral IV catheter line and flush saline into you. Look - unless they're unconscious, patients should be told that something this invasive and injurious (I had a huge awful purple and green bruise for weeks) is going to be done to them! 3. It is very loud, and the lighting is very bad; if you must come, and think you may be here a while, bring earbuds AND music, and an eye mask. 4. They lied in their report about what the patient supposedly said. This is just wrong. 5. The staff were standing around gossiping loudly though patients right in front of them needed their help. The staff were rude when they were asked a question. And of course they threaten you with writing in their notes that 'the patient refused treatment,' as if that were a bad thing when they're trying to stick you with expensive procedures, or ones you've just had done the day before.

They make even the most straightforward service unreasonably complicated. You will still be receiving bills from them a year after your visit. Even though your insurer provides you the exact amount you owe, it will never align with any of the CC bills because CC applies any payment to any bill in any amount and any billing date they want. You make a $50 co-pay at the time of one visit but CC spreads it across five different visits in random amounts- $1.83 here, $2.56 there, $14.85 to another one. Avoid obtaining services from CC at all costs. The level of care you receive won't ever be worth it. Akron General used to be great. Corporate greed got the best of them. CC is the worst.

They have no sanitation in the room.. you must use a bedside commode and they bag the shit and put it in a trash can .you can smell it and it's very unsanitary for an icu. Then I leave and call for the surgeon and now they won't tell me anything because I am no longer under their care. I was going to get the heart surgery in Cleveland but if it's anything like this..I won't use a Cleveland clinic...no thanks...they did not help me so if I die it's on them.​

I had a friend who was beaten up by his girlfriend's sister. Her family is manipulative and abusive…read moretowards her, her sister as they were leaving the house jumped on his back and started beating him. He still had bruises and cuts as he relayed his story. He was the one who was injured and the hospital was friendly toward him, until they found out that it was domestic violence, he was the actual the victim and they didn't asked the full story and assumed he was at fault, they were rude and even hurt him on purpose. The place has gone down hill since Cleveland took over. I know some of the staff and this is not about the departments, because I know they're good people, but the way they treat the elderly is inhumane. They give them a substandard of care and pretty much experiment on people they believe are dying without informing their family what is going on. My friend's mom passed away in an horrific way because she believed that a Cleveland Clinic would be the best place for her, if she had gone to the smaller hospital she might have been transferred to another place, because they're understaffed, but she would have at least gotten compassionate care.

It is a beautiful building…read more I was there for a blood drive and a few areas were closed, but I was able to see the field house and the third floor which caters to men. I love that there was a pool table and a kitchen area with snacks. There were tvs also. Nice staff and they have valet parking. I found a spot right by the door so I didn't use that service. The nurses took great care of me. I would absolutely return and see what offerings they have for my family. The beverage station was closed. I would try a tasty drink when I return during business hours
