So I stopped into the Framers Market Gallery which happens to be right around the corner from me to get some ideas of what it would cost...I am SOOO happy I did! Aileen(sp?) was working the counter and she is good at her job! So glad I went with her recommendations! The Black Keys one she figured out quickly and I'm very happy with it! She looked longer at the Dead and Co poster and ran a couple ideas past me...I'd never have thought this, but she suggested I use 2 frames!?! A blue one on the inside, to pickup the blue from the poster, and a black one outside, which would match my other artwork. I wasn't sure how it would look when done, but liked the idea, and it was actually cheaper with 2 frames than using matting... Think it took about 2 weeks and I was so happy with them both! The Dead and Co poster just blows me away, I love it! It was also cheaper than my previous framing experiences, so double the recommendation! Thank you Aileen, I'll be back with more!

They always try to find ways to print our jobs in a manner that is cost-effective. Recently, I was having problems with a logo. For very little cost, they fixed the logo so that it will not only work properly on the envelopes I needed but also for future projects, like a truck wrap. They helped me through my frustrations and found a way to make it work. They did a wonderful job then, and those paintings are still hanging in my home. Last week, I took a few more things in for framing. I was framing pieces my youngest daughter had done as well as a print she had given me. I was blown away. First of all, Megs is a pro. He took time with me to help me find reasonably priced frames and helped me trim down cost when we could since the art was more "sentimental " than valuable without compromising quality. I picked up my pieces and they were beautiful. He floated two little drawings and trimmed a print and framed it. So many details! Hangers in the back with everything attached so I could easily display it on my wall. The prints were framed beautifully and are clearly professionally done. But what really blew me away was the detail on the back of my print that displayed the artists name and work. I couldn't believe it. (See photo below). My daughter bought the print for me at the Christmas Village in Philly from a local artist. This was completely unexpected, but so lovely! This work and these details go above and beyond. So happy with this place. This type of personal attention doesn't really show up so much anymore. So thankful to Megs and American Picture Framing. My wife and I have been patronizing APF for over 10 years now. In fact, we both were fans of APF before we were fans of each other! John and the staff are intelligent, kind, artistic, considerate, helpful, funny, welcoming, and genuinely a pleasure to talk to. And the work they do is consistently exceptional. My only complaint is that there is no 6th star to give them.
