More importantly, the person I dealt with took time, had patience, shared helpful information about the job and helped me choose a frame that looked good and complimented the painting's colors. When I got it home, my spouse thought the framing actually enhanced the painting. You know, you sort of take a chance with a first framing job. You wonder how it will turn out. All I can say is I was entirely satisfied and I wouldn't hesitate to bring other work to be framed.

They offer you complementary hooks afterwards and are very adamant in telling you to forgo command strips. You pay half up front and the other half upon completion, and they save details from previous projects so they are easily replicated at a later time. I have no idea how much custom framing normally is, but their prices seem reasonable. If you're willing to put the effort to get something custom framed, chances are you care enough about that piece enough to pay a decent chunk of change.

My experience was fairly brief but satisfying (that's what she said). My husband and I were serviced within 20 minutes. This included consultation on framing and type of glass. The owner has a keen eye for what looks good. We had our own ideas in mind, but he made a few suggestions to enhance the matting colors and frame selection. We weren't the only customers in the store, but he was able to work with each group simultaneously, but not disruptively for either group. Not being in a rush, the estimated ready date of under three weeks from drop off sounded perfect. The frames was ready as scheduled. As others noted, the prices were market standard. They do this because it's the home of Benjamin Franklin. It's designed in colonial era style. Located in Independence National Historical Park, Philadelphia. This post office operates without a U.S. flag because the Stars and Stripes did not yet exist. We purchased a book of historical stamps not over priced.
