Had lunch there yesterday and unfortunately it was not good at all. There were 2 of us and we both had taco salads plus 2 sodas.The salad was served with no dressing at all and was extremely dry. We asked for queso sauce to put on the salad. Helped a bit. When we received the bill it was $35.00. For the same meal and a way better flavor at la mesa it would have been under $23.00. Service is good but will never order the taco salads there again. read more

The entrees, while a little overpriced we very good. The chips and salsa were not good and save your money one the queso- its canned cheese and tastes awful. I'd probably go back not one of my top choices. The service was good and fast. read more

I absolutely love this place. The combo quesadillas are the best. We like to go on Sundays as a family, and they generally get us seated and served quickly even though we are usually a party of 12. The staff is very professional too! read more

So I went in this place on a Sunday for lunch. I wanted something fast so I ordered the tacos beans and rice with drink it was 13 bucks. The tacos where super bland. I don't think this place makes one thing in house maybe the refried beans. Everything tasted like one of those frozen Mexican food TV dinners. The chips where not fresh the salsa was bland. Would it kill someone to put some seasoning on the food! The tables and chairs where a joke it looks like they picked them up at several different garage sales. No music at all! Not the worst Mexican food I have ever had but that being said I have better places to spend my hard earned money! read more

We have loved this place since it was garcias back in the 90's. The chips, salsa, and queso are amazing. I always eat too many chips, and have to get most of my dinner to go. The steak fajita nachos are my fave. They are HUGE! I eat a full order for 3 days at least. Love the fajitas too. They are brought out hot and sizzling. Hubby always gets the cheese enchiladas. He refuses to eat them anywhere else. My mother always has chicken quesadillas. She compares every quesadilla to these. The only downside is if Kents is closed, or we are out of town, we have to hear her gripe about how her quesadilla doesn't compare to Kents. I could eat here every day. I do wish they had longer opening hours and days. read more

We have only come to Kent's a few times but we absolutely love it! The service is great, the food is delicious and you get a full plate at a very fair price! Our very picky children also loved the food! We will return the next time we are craving Tex-mex! read more

My husband and I took my grandfather here for his bday. As we're walking in I get splashed from water leaking from the ceiling, so I'm already annoyed. Then we get a waitress who takes our drink orders then never brings them, my husband tells the waitress that it's my grandfather's bday. Then we're waiting for our drinks and a different waitress comes and takes our drink orders again. My husband once again tells her it's a bday and to give us the check. We got chips and queso before we even got drinks! Fina she takes our food order and even though the place is pretty dead it takes over 30 min to get our food. And every time she handed me anything she was on the opposite side of the table. She would lean over the entire table to hand me my food and drink. That made me mad. The food was very good though. And even though we told two separate waitresses multiple times, she still didn't hand us the ticket. And after we had paid and had put our stuff in to go boxes they sang happy bday.
