Put in an online curbside order, waited 24 hours to pick it up. Got to the store, called and went…read morethrough 3 associates. I was the only car in curbside pickup, waited 30 minutes (had 3 kids in the car and didn't want to get out due to COVID). Finally just left without my order and looking to get a refund, this place is grossly understaffed and relatively negligent. 24 hours plus 45 minutes once I call the store letting them know I've arrived just to get a garden hose is ridiculous.

An employee, Gene, kept us waiting around 20 min at the grills section. Supposedly he went to find a manager, which he never did. Then when paying for the pavers at 6:45, the cashier named "Deet?", told us they were closing and she didn't have anybody to get the pavers for us. So we left empty-handed. Hopefully Lowe's will be smarter & hire better personnel...

I was getting 100 paver stones today around 9:15 and the person who was getting them I was in shock…read morethat he would care less about getting them. I waited until 10 clock and called curb side assistance and guess why broken promises to come help me. I got gas and came back and called twice for a manager. Needless to say he could care less about his job which infuriated me to the point I told him I'm going to hang up before I say something and he was like okay. You mean no apologies or nothing. Told them to have it loaded tomorrow or I'm going to get a refund and I promise this if I have to load them myself the person on the other end who should have done the job will get it as well. Thanks got nothing Lowe's I'm really disappointed in you. Spoke with manager named John and he's going to talk to people who could have cared less about there job.

I'd rather drive to London Lowe's then EVER shop here again.

I think a lot of us in the area went into…read moremourning when St. Paul Builders closed, and though we understood the desire of the owners to retire, we worried about losing a hardware store locally, and we worried about the employees. I did, anyway. So it's wonderful to see two familiar faces when I go to Hometown Hardware. This store is smaller than St. Paul Builders, but Steve and Jerry are quick to order anything you need. I wanted some DAP plaster-of-Paris powder, and it was waiting for me the next time I went in--and at a good price. Steve and Jerry are professional, accommodating, and also very nice and friendly. I predict that Hometown Hardware will become as much a local institution as St. Paul Builders was. And I very much appreciate that I don't have to drive a long way just to pick up hardware and supplies. The location in downtown St. Paul is extremely convenient.
