Most recently, I was experiencing what the doctors thought was classic vertigo and nothing was helping...a week and a half into the miserable "vertigo" I went to see Dr Ryan and we decided on doing some x-rays to get a better look at my neck and it's a good thing we did - ended up finding that the natural curve that should be there is lacking. He adjusted me and I felt better the very next morning - back to normal! Now I just need to keep up with the exercises provided, my new denneroll and my appointments. It may seem like a lot- but your health is worth it and it's MUCH less than going into the Urgent Care and/or ER like I did. I would highly recommend any of the 3 chiropractors on staff; I've seen them all over the years.

After that they conducted another X-ray and recommended 30 more visits. The straw that broke the camel was the way Ben conducted the adjustments. He would spend an average of about 8 minutes with me and typically make the same comment - "that was good work today!". Same with my wife. It is run like a production/assembly line operation to get as many patients as possible through, thus maximizing revenue. As a 43-year business/sales management professional, I understand the purpose of maximizing revenue but not by rushing your paying patients through the process. At Burkhart Chiropractic, they spend a minimum of 20 minutes with you conducting a much more thorough adjustment. About the only thing positive about Gillis Chiropractic is that the staff is friendly. Other than that, don't waste your time. I have virtually eliminated the need for a chiropractor anyway by practicing yoga 3X weekly

The massages are great, but you have to really apply yourself to schedule them (maybe that's just me). They get booked out, so you can't just drop in for one of those. I know the employees pool is low right now. I got used to and now prefer the machine adjustments. Every now and then I have them adjust my neck manually, because I love that sound/feeling. I know some people that only have ONE chiro doc they go to. That is one way it gets hard to get in. I have several chiro docs at I-Chiro and I like them all, even though I tease them a lot. If I had any complaint at all, it's that from noon to 2pm or so, there are no doctors on staff. If there are two doctors there at all times, do they have to take lunch at the same time? I have dropped in a few times to find there was noone there to adjust me. Now I know not to stop in at those times. Other than that, I can't say enough, it's the perfect chiro experience for me.
