Personally I love the ground Chuck, no grease and it won't ruin sitting in your refrigerator after a day or two. The flavor and taste of the ground chuck is so fresh and the taste is great.! My granddaughtergrand and I can definitely tell the difference if it's Stone Cold Meat or any other protein. The service is always friendly & the ambience is set up so well it's so easy to find everything you are looking for. Also the way everything is laid out you might find something you didn't know you would want to try. They make a phenomenal green onion sausage! Once you start getting your proteins from Stone Cold, you will never buy from the grocery store. I can honestly say I have not and will not buy from the grocery stores, I will do without until I can get to Stone Cold. It's that big of a difference.!

They have freezer sections, fresh cuts, vacuum sealed items, I'd even go as far as saying that if you needed something off-menu, they might be able to hook you up. The folks behind the counter were very patient, and super efficient. We ended up leaving with two maple blueberry breakfast sausages, two decent sized New York Strip steaks, 2 girthy Who Dat Balls, 2 giant stuffed chicken breasts (one Italian, one 4 cheese), a dozen boudin stuffed tamales, and two thiccc vac-sealed brisket burgers. Even so, there so much more to go back for. Luckily this joint sits right along the route to family, and we will be back for more. They have an array of your usual meats, plus a plethora of exotic and wild meats, and accompaniments. Some of their items can come pre-seasoned or pre-rubbed. Parking is easy on a weekend, but could be tight during rush. They also have a customer service reward program, so get your stamp on. I'll update after I have cooked some of the foods, and sampled more of the inventory.

I used to come here all the time with an ex-boyfriend but haven't been back in years. I made the drive from Katy to Bacliff to pick up some vintage garden trellises, and at just two miles away, I immediately knew lunch had to be at T-Bone Tom's. One of my favorite things about this place is the absolutely massive outdoor seating area. It's covered, so normally it's a fantastic place to sit without roasting in direct sun, but after several days of heavy rain mixed with Houston humidity and temperatures around 90 degrees, there was absolutely no convincing anyone in my party that sitting outside for lunch was a good idea. Only my second time ever sitting indoors here. The place was already bustling by 11:30 and packed by noon, which tells you everything you need to know. We were greeted immediately when we arrived, and even though we came through the back entrance for patio seating, the hostess was cheerful and accompanied us to the dining room, where we were also immediately greeted by one of the indoor hostesses. Our server Joshua was excellent throughout the meal--friendly, attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and always on top of things. We started with drinks and boudin balls, which came with four and ranch dressing. I tend to go through phases of what I'm addicted to, and right now it's boudin balls. If it's on the menu, I'm ordering them. These were fried to perfection, hot, and delicious. A great appetizer to start the meal. While we waited to order our main course, there were two things our table seemed to rave about: giant drink glasses and crackers. It sounds silly, but not having to constantly wait around for refills makes a big difference. And crackers on the table? It seemed like memory lane for the older members of our party, who quite enjoy bits of nostalgia. So few restaurants bother doing little things like that anymore, so my lunch selection was awarding me kudos before the lunch even started! Mom and Mark split the 14 oz. ribeye with spinach and potato salad. Although splitting two sides might have been enough, Mom added a side of mashed potatoes for herself. It's always a toss up with restaurants and steak. True mediums aren't always a true medium--you have to order medium rare or medium well to get it just right. But the medium here is actually a medium. Mom kept talking about how delicious the steak was and said it was one of the best she's had in a long time. If you know my mom, compliments don't come easy. It's a big deal. Ha. I ordered the plate I always get: the Monterey chicken with fried okra and spinach. It may have been years since I was last here, but this dish is as excellent as it has always been, if not better. The chicken was incredibly tender, cooked perfectly, and covered with flavorful mushrooms and onions. I also really love that their vegetables are homemade rather than straight out of a freezer bag. The fried okra and fresh spinach were wonderful. Berta ordered the chopped beef sandwich with potato salad. They gave her so much beef, there was enough for two people to enjoy that plate. She ended up taking more than half home. We finished the meal with vanilla ice cream and their infamous bread pudding, which was warm, rich, and easily enough dessert for four people to share. Mom had ordered it for herself and said she didn't want to share, but when she saw how big the portion was, she asked Berta and I to join in. T-Bone Tom's is a popular place among locals and tourists alike. It offers great food, a fun atmosphere, friendly service, and remains one of those places that still feels uniquely Texas in the best possible way. We'll definitely be back, and much sooner this time!

Our waiter was attentive and friendly, and service moved quickly. We started with the brisket queso, which came out velvety, smoky, and incredibly flavorful, easily the standout of the night. For our entrée, we shared the two‑meat platter with brisket and sausage; the brisket had good flavor but was a bit chewy and slightly dry, while the sausage was well‑seasoned and tasty. We chose curly fries and mashed potatoes for our sides, both simple but delicious, and my husband especially enjoyed the BBQ sauce since it isn't overly sweet like many others. We had a great time, ate well, and T-Bone Tom's delivered exactly what we were hoping for.

Went to a wedding here. That's after I got lost in Alvin and had to stop and search google a few…read moretimes to find an accurate way here. It's a terrible location. I understand it is supposed to be secluded, but my advice would be to call ahead and talk to someone there who can guide you, because all the county roads show up under different names in the GPS and Internet world. So just call ahead and you'll thank me. Just look for the place you think Mitt Romney might daylight at and you're there. Ok, so now that you're there you can take a deep breath and relax. The people there are really nice and attentive to your needs. Provided you have a need when there is an open bar at the wedding, mariachis, a DJ, and a frickin' ICE CREAM BAR. Not an Ice Cream "Bar" like a rocket pop...but a bar where you can go and load up on as much Ice Cream as you WANT...man...my inner fat kid was sated, you have any idea how hard that is to do?! Awesome idea to whoever came up with that. The outside are where the reception was held was gorgeous, lots of shade due to the big beautiful trees. In the evening they would turn on the hanging lights that were strung up throughout the yard and it was really nice. The dance floor was nice, seeing as I can't dance for crap..I would give it a 5/5 because it's been as good as any dance floor I might have stared at longingly. The food was good, we started with salads that were really good. The lettuce was crisp and it had peanuts in it, they served bowls of ranch and a vinaigrette I want to say. I had the ranch, but my friend had the vinaigrette and really enjoyed it so that's all I have to say about that. The entree was a chicken in mushroom sauce I wanna say. I just remember it was a little cold because we were greeting the wedding party when it was served so the wind got the better of it. It was still pretty great, oddly enough I remember the carrots served with it the best because I wanted more haha. The night went on and the servers kept the tables managed really well, you didn't have crap strewn all over the place which happens a lot at weddings I've been too. So good job on keeping it clean. We were shooed out at 10 pm, and lots of photos were taken. Overall it was a wonderful and amazing reception, but I can't rate it on my company and the wedding couple alone.

The flow for the Buffett should have been planned smarter as we were having to double back through the crowd with full hands to go get our Tea. - Drinks go last in a self serve Buffett because you need 2 hands to serve your plate. - With their giant kitchen island the buffet line could have had great flow if planned better. Zero lighting outside was awkward for everyone trying to park and walk to their cars. Everyone was mentioning that. As a former restaurant owner I know they're just asking for a liability lawsuit with their pitch dark grounds. I get wanting to maintain ambiance but on a dark night at least some soft lighting so you can see where you're walking is necessary. The food was good, and well presented, but salt less. When I asked one of the staff for Salt I was told they didn't have any. (?!) "Any? Not in the whole entire house?" Finally a lady brought out 1 set. (For 50+ people?) If you're not going to provide those silverware sets that include the little salt and pepper packages, go to Hobby Lobby and get those sets of multiple crystal miniature salt and pepper sets. An expense of probably about $30 to have a set for each table. The hostess was beautiful and the place is beautiful but I like my events to flow as smoothly as possible so the focus can be on the reason for celebrating and not on the disorganization.
