I asked where was the best place to get barbecue in Texas and I was told to go to T-Bone Tom's. Upon arriving, I felt like I was in for a treat since the restaurant had a distinctly barbecue theme and was busy. I ordered brisket tacos with fried okra and potato salad. I really loved the okra but everything else was just ok. I wish the brisket was a bit more tender. I enjoyed my visit but my search for the best barbecue in Texas continues.

After passing by numerous times, we stopped for lunch. OH MY GOD! We were missing out. Everything about this place was spot on, even the music. The staff were amazing, especially Juan, with great recommendations. We even met the owner, we was so nice and talkative. My hubby had the marbled brisket with onion rings. I had the steak fingers and steak fries. We shared them. Everything made in house. We absolutely will be back soon.

My husband and I had dinner at T-Bone Tom's, and the place is huge, lively, and full of fun energy with live music, drinks, and that classic BBQ atmosphere. Our waiter was attentive and friendly, and service moved quickly. We started with the brisket queso, which came out velvety, smoky, and incredibly flavorful, easily the standout of the night. For our entrée, we shared the two‑meat platter with brisket and sausage; the brisket had good flavor but was a bit chewy and slightly dry, while the sausage was well‑seasoned and tasty. We chose curly fries and mashed potatoes for our sides, both simple but delicious, and my husband especially enjoyed the BBQ sauce since it isn't overly sweet like many others. We had a great time, ate well, and T-Bone Tom's delivered exactly what we were hoping for.

Everything was above expectations for Tbone toms. The outside makes it look kind of dingy but it's truly a hidden gem and super charming inside. The waitstaff was amazing at timeliness, checking in on us, and making great recommendations. The food was amazing in terms of flavor and came out at all the right temps. I really enjoyed the chargrilled chicken and smoked turkey breast. They were both perfectly juicy and tender. They have live music out on the porch and it's such a nice chill vibe. The margs were amazing and love the happy hour marg too. Came back twice!!

This place has been for a while, with good reason. The food is really good. I tried the sandwich that comes with ribs on top and it was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Only hiccup was the waitress charging an adult chicken tender/finger meal for my daughter who is 10 and ordered from the kids menu. They did fix it but hate to have to deal with that and bring it up.

Came down from HTX and came together for dinner here after an active day. Ordered grilled pork chops, they give you 2. Can't complain for the great hearty portions. My bf got the fried seafood plate. All solid options. The service was attentive and friendly inside and outside had a live band that had the whole patio full, definitely dining their next visit.

Brought my Father for Father's Day for a steak and he ordered the chopped steak instead! Overall food was okay, brisket was very good but honestly tasted warmed up as did the ribs. Gumbo was not our favorite. Sides were amazing....mac & cheese is all that m&c should be, creamy, piping hot...very good. Fries tasted homemade, fresh cut, very tasty. Potato salad, coleslaw, green beans all very good. Ordered tea, very good and a few Budweisers. Overall food was okay, I feel could definitely step it up a few notches. I will say though, service was wonderful! Waitress gave great suggestions, we were seated promptly, and manager stopped by our table to check in on our meal. Ambiance was laid back, very inviting. Will we be back, for sure...definitely open to try some other items on the menu.

Always great food made better by an awesome team of servers. Portions are a good size, if you leave hungry it's your own fault.

I would guess it's to complement the many Ferttita properties and since we spent the night at the Caya boardwalk and it was a great compliment and a close walk. The food is always very dependable and in this particular case was prepared perfectly. I asked for eggs over easy steak and fries and a biscuit with gravy and all were very good. The service was excellent. We had a lovely waitress. She made sure our coffee and water and juice were full and that we were satisfied with our meals. This brand is rather consistent now between the Katiy/Fuller operation and now the chemo operation. I would highly recommend either one. The ambience is typical of all saltgrass restaurants. Very Texan oriented and really very pleasant and this one has a significant advantage in that you're overlooking Galveston Bay, which is actually quite lovely. This is not a restaurant to be missed if you happen to be in the Kema area for breakfast. I can't speak to the remainder of the meals, but there's no reason to suspect that if their breakfast is as good as it is there lunch and dinner are likely close and the convenience within Caya is undoubtable.

I ate my wife's leftover burger with non-melted cheese slices, and it was worse than the cheapest fast food burger you could think of. Absolutely terrible.

He checked on us often. The bourbon pumpkin smash had just the right amount of sweetness. The hot bread and butter was great. I ordered the shrimp scampi. I appreciated the spinach and tomatoes. It was a lighter dish than I expected but turned out to be perfect for a warm night. It was lacking flavor but adding generous amounts of salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese made a big difference. My companion had the tropical crab salad and it was fantastic. Refreshing and flavorful. The whole, sliced avocado was a nice touch. And it was just a vibrant looking dish. We sat outside and a gaggle of ducks kept hanging out with us. I thought it was cute (minus the duck waste), but it was a bit much for my companion who doesn't like birds on the least). A piano player played live music as we dined, took photos and took turns sharing kind words about the birthday girl. All of that was the best part. The service was just okay. I'd give it a 6.5/10. They were timid and didn't move quickly. What I did appreciate is that they had two main servers plus two floater guys who just kept refilling water and bringing bread and straws. These guys were the real superstars. The food... eh. I took out my Yelp menu vision and read the reviews, and nothing really seemed like it was going to be good. I settled on the Oysters Rockefeller and a cup of gumbo. The oysters came out hard and dry, but we'd waited so long that I ate them. 5/10. The gumbo was just so-so. 5.5/10. Everyone around me said the same thing. Someone got the loaded shrimp scampi and set it back because it was completely tasteless. Others got the shrimp and grits and other entrees. When asked about how they were, everyone said, "Ehhh, you know... it's all right. Not that good, but not terrible either. Just okay." That was the consensus across the 30-person group. BUT there were two items the ladies said were actually good: the wedge salad and the salmon. Those who chose those items had a great meal!

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm Mediterranean charm. The restaurant is beautiful, inviting, and filled with Greek-inspired décor. You can choose to dine inside or relax on their lovely outdoor patio. Our waitress, Rachel, was exceptional--friendly, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. She made us feel right at home! We kicked off our meal with a couple of appetizers, and they were every bit as impressive as they were delicious. The hummus was smooth, creamy, and served with warm, fluffy pita bread. We also enjoyed the falafels--perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside, and even better dipped in their spicy feta spread! For my entrée, I chose the Lunch Special featuring a savory spinach pie, served with a fresh Greek salad and a cup of their famous Avgolemono (Greek lemon soup) . It was light, comforting, and packed with flavor. My grandson ordered the Chickpea Salad , a dish he loved so much on a previous visit that he couldn't resist ordering it again. That's always a good sign! My husband selected the Stuffed Shrimp Special . The plate was absolutely beautiful--jumbo baked shrimp stuffed with a savory crab dressing, served over a bed of mushroom orzo. It tasted every bit as incredible as it looked! If you're ever in Seabrook, Texas, and you're craving something fresh, flavorful, and satisfying, I highly recommend Athena's Corner Greek Restaurant. You'll enjoy a relaxing atmosphere, outstanding hospitality, and food that's made with care and bursting with authentic flavor. Best Bites Approved! Have you been to Athena's Corner? They had our table already prepared which was fantastic, but the restaurant was slow and not very busy. We could've just walked in and, other than having to wait for them to prepare our table, been seated right away. Our waitress, Moriah, was fantastic! She had tables on opposite sides of the restaurant, but since they weren't very busy it didn't seem to be an issue. There were a couple of times when we had to ask for drink refills, but it wasn't horrible. She was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was good, and I appreciate that they have some options that you wouldn't find just anywhere. That's the kind of thing I look for in a restaurant. However there were a few places where they fell short. 1. There was no kids menu. This may not be a big deal for a lot of people. It wasn't a big deal for me since my toddler eats pretty much anything, so we shared. It WAS however a big deal for my 6 year-old niece who does NOT eat anything. They told my sister that they could make some butter noodles or take the harissa off of a pizza and make it a smaller size for her. She opted for the butter noodles which were bland and unseasoned. Then they have no salt or pepper on the tables so she couldn't even season them until she asked for some. It helped, but they still weren't very good. 2. The food is overpriced. It's good food, but the prices were a little steep compared to the quality. My sister and I discussed this later and we both had the same thought. We didn't understand why they weren't busy because they had the potential to be, and it just felt like they maybe were trying TOO hard. I would go back, but this wouldn't be a regular choice for me. I'd be happy to go if someone chose this as an option, and I might even choose to go back for a date night or something. I like the atmosphere of the place as well as how open it felt... I don't love a crowded space. Another thing I loved was the Smoked Caramel Bread Pudding. I'm surprised I liked it so much because I don't typically love added smoke flavor, but this worked! Listen, I LOVE bread pudding. If there's ever bread pudding on the menu, I'm going to get it. This being my birthday dinner dessert was absolutely fine by me. The edges were a little caramelized and it was absolutely delicious and everyone who tried it agreed. Give this place a try, but just know that you may pay a little more than what it's worth. It's still tasty food though! Also... try the bread pudding!

He said there is a large tap selection, and I was welcome to check it out at the bar. I made my way to the bar, and they have an extensive IPA selection. I am not an IPA drinker but did manage to find a lager I have never heard of and chose it without any hesitation, Deca Loteria was the name! I made my way back. Oh, I did want to mention the bartender was very accommodating and let me sample 2 beers. I went with the HRW selection of chicken and andouille sausage gumbo, crispy coconut shrimp, De Constructed Beef Wellington, and Whiskey Bread Pudding. My wife went with the Cajun Shrimp Pasta and my daughter with the drunken steak tacos w charro beans. My two favorite dishes were the coconut shrimp and Beef Wellington. Shrimp was nice and freshly hot, and my Wellington was perfectly cooked medium! I thought the gumbo was good but didn't have a kick, and I didn't even ask for Tabasco for it. lol.The Roux was also not thick enough. The bread pudding was merely a sample, and it was smaller than most desserts at other concepts. In addition to dining, we tried our hand at Trivia. They have several specials going on different days of the week. I really enjoyed the food here but not the atmosphere and decor.
