I booked this hair and makeup artist last year for my August 2026 wedding and paid a deposit to secure my date. Everything seemed fine at the time of booking, but when I reached out in January to schedule my trial, I received no response. I followed up multiple times over the course of four months via email, text, and phone calls--ignored every time. My wedding planner also attempted to contact her on my behalf, with no success. At this point, it is clear this is not a case of a missed message or temporary delay--Yessie ghosted me as a client. Because of this, I was forced to find and book a new hair and makeup artist under time pressure, adding unnecessary stress during what is already a busy planning period. To make matters worse, I never received my deposit back. For other future brides out there, please do not let Yessie scam you. Taking a client's deposit and then completely disappearing without any communication or services rendered is unacceptable.

There were issues with her and venue that I did apologize for as there was miscommunication and she was very kind to me. Day of wedding she told me after she arrived with her hired assistant that she would be leaving for one hour to "handle something" then be back to finish my hair and other 2 bridesmaids hair. Ravy her employee she hired for the day was amazing she went above and beyond for me. My hair wasn't fully finished she just "set it" and 2 of my girls had to scramble to get their hair done before the ceremony because we had no clue if or when she would come back. I didn't see her until way after my ceremony (4 1/2 hrs later) when I was taking family photos and she grabbed a drink from bar and was just watching me which she claimed in text was her "showing love and support for Me" keep in mind she was only at our venue from 10-12 so 2 hours. Come to find out she left to go take care of another brides hair and makeup!!!!! I was left in dark with unfinished services while she took care of another wedding My bridesmaids went up to her and asked what happened. She went in circles and it was actually ravy who told them she would refund them because she felt so bad. Fast forward to 2 days post wedding (wedding was Saturday now it's monday) I texted her with my bridesmaids who didn't get service for update on refund. No response. My bridesmaid texted next day. No response. I texted Ari separately after she ignored my calls and she stated that I was a liar and disrespectful and threatening her. I was in shock as she was the one who breached contract and was in the wrong. We have been battling for almost a week to get ahold of her and every time she responds she says I am a liar and disrespectful which is insane behavior from someone who is a business owner and is in the wrong !!
