I followed up multiple times over the course of four months via email, text, and phone calls--ignored every time. My wedding planner also attempted to contact her on my behalf, with no success. At this point, it is clear this is not a case of a missed message or temporary delay--Yessie ghosted me as a client. Because of this, I was forced to find and book a new hair and makeup artist under time pressure, adding unnecessary stress during what is already a busy planning period. My hair began falling out almost immediately after our ceremony. Before we had even finished family photos, pieces were already coming loose, and my maid of honor had to keep fixing it throughout the rest of the day. On your wedding day, the last thing you want to worry about is whether your hairstyle is staying together. Another issue was that my mom's hair was never fully finished. While everyone else's services were completed, hers wasn't, and she ended up having to make do. That was especially disappointing because she deserved to feel just as cared for and special on such an important day. After the wedding, I reached out to Ari with a thoughtful message explaining my experience. She initially responded, which I appreciated. She is so professional and knows exactly what she is doing. I've never had someone actually take their time on my brows to wax them to perfection like Nakita does. I have naturally thick brows and want them to be able to grow a little more and fill in and now with Nakita they can, because she shapes them to perfection and allows them room to grow while still looking clean.
