I am traumatized by Agnes' unprofessional, rude, and dangerous behavior. She started the appointment almost 30 minutes late, dyed my forehead, up charged me for "long hair", though no other salon has ever done that, she left the salon for over 30 minutes while my hair was processing, rinsed with freezing cold water and didn't listen to my requests to use warmer water, pushed my head around like a doll, argued a lot, barked orders like a sergeant to move my head, put my chin up, etc.. Flung-dye soaked hair in my face, yelled at me when I moved it off my face, put an open pair of scissors centimeters from my eye, and pretty much was rude and abusive for 2 hours straight, which left me wanting to get the H@ll out of there as soon as the service was completed. My fingernails have black dye under it that seems to come off my hair every time I touch it. Agnes could have blinded me with the dye-soaked hair or the scissors. The only saving grace was she educated me on how to take care of my damaged hair and how to apply products. Other than that and her little dog Ira, the experience was pure H@ll.

Based on her excellent reviews, I felt confident reaching out and was excited to become a client. I had K-tip extensions installed in California for a wedding, and I was simply looking for someone to remove them. Instead of scheduling the service, Zoika told me to fly back to California and have the original stylist remove my extensions. I just ignored her rude statement. Rather than discussing availability or the removal process, I was met with numerous questions and reasons why I should keep my extensions. I was also told that my hair could fall out if they were removed. I found these comments unnecessary and the overall interaction came across as rude, especially since I was only requesting a hair extension removal service. Zoika also quoted $300 for the removal, her website lists hair extension removal at $100. I didn't mind paying the $300 if that was her price. However, I was then asked whether I got the extensions for length or volume and why I wanted to remove them after only a month. I didn't feel those questions were relevant to the service I was requesting. Unfortunately, I got the impression that because my extensions were not installed by her, she wasn't willing to provide the removal service. As a potential paying client, that was disappointing. I reached out specifically because of her reputation and positive reviews, but instead of being welcomed as a new client, I felt like my request was refused. Business is business, and I believe every client deserves to be treated with professionalism and respect, regardless of where they originally had their extensions installed. I left the conversation feeling dismissed, judged, and that my needs were not being heard. Sadly, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business. UPDATE: July 15, 2026 6 days after my original review, Zoika and I chatted and believed we had resolved the issue. We scheduled an appointment for the following week, so I thought everything was good moving forward. I even offered to pay for the hair extension removal. Unfortunately, she canceled the appointment today, leaving me very disappointed and dissatisfied with the overall experience. Professionalism goes beyond the service itself, it also includes communication and customer service. Keeping clients informed, honoring scheduled commitments and communicating respectfully are all important parts of providing a positive client experience. Honestly, after my scheduled appointment with Zoika, I was planning to take down my review because I wanted to get to know her more and rate my overall experience with her. Unfortunately, that did not happen and I was left feeling frustrated and disappointed. I said it before and I'll say it again. I cannot recommend this business. So we decided to wait it out. - 5 Stars - First, the fact that this individual came in (regardless of the mixup) was enough to earn 5 stars. She definitely is a specialist in hair health and took care of my wife. I went to grab a bite to eat but (after taking a look at my wife's scalp) told her she was going to need about an hour and a half to get her back on point. And that she did. It was a long appointment and my wife (and I) were more than impressed by the results. My wife also spoke to me about their time talking to each other. It must have been a good discussion because my wife was vibrant and full of life afterward telling me about all the stuff they talked about. All in all, how can you complain about an appointment mixup when someone is willing to come in and open up just for you, on Christmas no less? But she talked with me, addressed my hair concerns, and leaves me feeling beautiful whenever I leave. I usually just get a wash and press, and I only come once a month or so, but I appreciate Miny's honesty and how she takes cares of my hair and makes it look great when it's done. My hair gets so easily tangled that I've given up on trying to brush it everyday. Although my hair is pretty dark, there was no shine and just looked dull. The process took just a little over an hour and immediately once Sarah started to blow dry my hair, there was already a significant difference. My hair right now is so silky, soft and the shine is just WOW. Now I know what they mean when they say glass hair. I can easily run my fingers through my hair and absolutely no tangles. I've gotten a Brazilian blowout before a year ago but it was nowhere near as shiny as this. The photos don't do justice! My hair had layers previously so it was kind of hard to get rid of all the split ends but she did the best she could and I'm beyond satisfied. Walked out that salon feeling like a brand new person! I explained.thatbto Michele and she said she had actually ordered a lighter pastel. Perfect. Let's do this! Michele did a dry cap blonde, toner and then the purple. Wash, cut, and oh boy, let's see how this went... The dry. As it dried, I realized it was dead on what I wanted. Barely noticeable purple. I mean you have to be looking to notice it. I love it. This was the slow break in for me I needed. Now I'll be braver in the future and maybe got for a slightly bolder color. She listened to me. Paid attention to details.
