I attempted to speak with this office. A very rude person named Julie took the call and proceeded to argue with me when I attempted to ask some questions. I started to explain what I was calling about ; she interrupted me to say we don't handle that and then hung up on me. I was mid sentence and not yet finished explaining the multiple aspects of my situation. She heard 1 part of it and hung up on me. When I called back she repeatedly picked up and hung up the call. Julie says she's the "right hand" person to Samira - if that is true and then this a good indication of how the office works - to which I would advise - run in the other direction. An "intake" person paralegal or otherwise should not be the person deciding to take on a case. And charging a $500 fee is absurd when so many quality, legitimate firms will provide an initial free consult. So many of these firms have rude and incompetent people answering their phones and blowing off potential clients - whether they're a paralegal or a call center person doesn't matter. If you don't have the inability to interact with clients in a civil manner then you should not be taking calls, no excuse. And if thats how you treat potential clients I cant imagine what you're like once have money in hand. Regardless of the matter and whether it falls under the area of practice or not, being rude to a potential client who is reaching out for HELP is unacceptable behavior. Hanging up on them is additionally unprofessional and childish. Any company, vendor, service provider that makes excuses and thinks this behavior is okay and acceptable needs to take a hard look at themselves and their business. read more
